ㅇ이스라엘은 열매 맺는 茂盛(무성)한 葡萄(포도)나무라 그 열매가 많을수록 ㅈ祭壇(제단)을 많게 하며 그 땅이 아름다울수록 ㅊ柱像(주상)을 아름답게 하도다
Israel was a spreading vine; he brought forth fruit for himself. As his fruit increased, he built more altars; as his land prospered, he adorned his sacred stones.

저희가 두 마음을 품었으니 이제 罪(죄)를 받을 것이라 ㅋ하나님이 그 祭壇(제단)을 쳐서 깨치시며 그 柱像(주상)을 헐으시리라

Their heart is deceitful, and now they must bear their guilt. The LORD will demolish their altars and destroy their sacred stones.

저희가 이제 이르기를 우리가 여호와를 두려워 아니하므로 ㅌ우리에게 王(왕)이 없거니와 王(왕)이 우리를 爲(위)하여 무엇을 하리요 하리로다
Then they will say, "We have no king because we did not revere the LORD. But even if we had a king, what could he do for us?"

● 저희가 ㅍ헛된 말을 내며 거짓 盟誓(맹세)를 發(발)하여 言約(언약)을 세우니 그 ㅎ裁判(재판)이 ㅏ밭이랑에 돋는 毒(독)한 茵蔯(인진)같으리로다
They make many promises, take false oaths and make agreements; therefore lawsuits spring up like poisonous weeds in a plowed field.

사마리아 居民(거민)이 ㅑ벧아웬의 ㅓ송아지를 因(인)하여 두려워할것이라 그 百姓(백성)이 슬퍼하며 그것을 기뻐하던 1)祭司長(제사장)들도 슬퍼하리니 이는 그 ㅕ榮光(영광)이 떠나감이며
The people who live in Samaria fear for the calf-idol of Beth Aven. Its people will mourn over it, and so will its idolatrous priests, those who had rejoiced over its splendor, because it is taken from them into exile.

ㅗ그 송아지는 앗수르로 옮겨다가 禮物(예물)로 2)ㅛ야렙 王(왕)에게 드리리니 에브라임은 羞恥(수치)를 받을 것이요 이스라엘은 ㅜ自己(자기)들의 計議(계의)를 부끄러워할 것이며
It will be carried to Assyria as tribute for the great king. Ephraim will be disgraced; Israel will be ashamed of its wooden idols.

사마리아 ㅠ王(왕)은 물 위에 거품 같이 滅亡(멸망)할 것이며

Samaria and its king will float away like a twig on the surface of the waters.

으이스라엘의 罪(죄)된 아웬의 山堂(산당)은 悖乖(패괴)되어 이가시와 찔레가 그 壇(단) 위에 날것이니 그 때에 ㅐ저희가 山(산)더러 우리를 가리우라 할 것이요 작은 山(산)더러 우리 위에 무너지라 하리라
The high places of wickedness will be destroyed--it is the sin of Israel. Thorns and thistles will grow up and cover their altars. Then they will say to the mountains, "Cover us!" and to the hills, "Fall on us!"

● 이스라엘아 네가 기브아의 사대로부터 범죄하였거늘 무리가 ㄱ기브아에 서서 凶惡(흉악)한 族屬(족속)을 치는 戰爭(전쟁)을 거기서 免(면)하였도다

Since the days of Gibeah, you have sinned, O Israel, and there you have remained. Did not war overtake the evildoers in Gibeah?

ㄴ내가 願(원)하는 때에 ㄷ저희를 懲戒(징계)하리니 ㄹ저희가 두 가지 罪(죄)에 걸릴때에 萬民(만민)이 모여서 저희를 치리라
When I please, I will punish them; nations will be gathered against them to put them in bonds for their double sin.

ㅁ에브라임은 마치 ㅂ길들인 암소같아서 ㅅ穀食(곡식) 밟기를 좋아하나 내가 그 아름다운 목에 멍에를 메우고 그의 위에 사람을 태우리니 유다가 밭을 갈고 야곱이 흙덩이를 깨뜨리리라
Ephraim is a trained heifer that loves to thresh; so I will put a yoke on her fair neck. I will drive Ephraim, Judah must plow, and Jacob must break up the ground.

● 너희가 ㅇ自己(자기)를 爲(위)하여 義(의)를 심고 矜恤(긍휼)을 거두라 지금이 곧 여호와를 찾을 때니 너희 ㅈ묵은 땅을 起耕(기경)하라 마침내 여호와께서 臨(임)하사 ㅊ義(의)를 비처럼 너희에게 내리시리라
Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the LORD, until he comes and showers righteousness on you.

ㅋ너희는 惡(악)을 밭갈아 罪(죄)를 거두고 거짓 열매를 먹었나니 이는 네가 네 길과 네 勇士(용사)의 많음을 依賴(의뢰)하였음이라

But you have planted wickedness, you have reaped evil, you have eaten the fruit of deception. Because you have depended on your own strength and on your many warriors,

그러므로 ㅌ너희 百姓(백성) 中(중)에 擾亂(요란)함이 일어나며 네 山城(산성)들이 다 毁破(훼파)되되 살만이 ㅍ戰爭(전쟁)의 날에 벧아벨을 毁破(훼파)한 것같이 될 것이라 그 때에 ㅎ어미와 子息(자식)이 함께 부숴졌도다
the roar of battle will rise against your people, so that all your fortresses will be devastated--as Shalman devastated Beth Arbel on the day of battle, when mothers were dashed to the ground with their children.

너희의 큰 惡(악)을 因(인)하여 ㅏ벧엘이 이같이 너희에게 行(행)하리니 이스라엘 王(왕)이 새벽에 滅絶(멸절)하리로다

Thus will it happen to you, O Bethel, because your wickedness is great. When that day dawns, the king of Israel will be completely destroyed.
