He also gathered together all the leaders of Israel, as well as the priests and Levites. And he gathered together all the princes of Israel, with the priests and the Levites. |

레위 사람은 으三十歲(삼십세) 以上(이상)으로 計數(계수)하였으니 모든 이男子(남자)의 名數(명수)가 ㅐ三萬(삼만)
八千(팔천)인데
The Levites thirty years old or more were counted, and the total number of men was thirty-eight thousand. Now the Levites were numbered from the age of thirty years and upward: and their number by their polls, man by man, was thirty and eight thousand. |

그 中(중)에 二萬(이만) 四千(사천)은 ㄱ여호와의 殿(전) 事務(사무)를 보살피는 者(자)요 六千(육천)은 ㄴ有司(유사)와

David said, "Of these, twenty-four thousand are to supervise the work of the temple of the LORD and six thousand are to be officials and judges. Of which, twenty and four thousand were to set forward the work of the house of the LORD; and six thousand were officers and judges: |

四千(사천)은 門(문)지기요 四千(사천)은 ㄷ다윗의 讚頌(찬송)하기 爲(위)하여 지은 樂器(악기)로 여호와를 讚頌(찬송)하는 者(자)라
Four thousand are to be gatekeepers and four thousand are to praise the LORD with the musical instruments I have provided for that purpose." Moreover four thousand were porters; and four thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made, said David, to praise therewith. |

다윗이 ㄹ레위의 아들 게르손과 그핫과 므라리의 各(각) 族屬(족속)을 따라 ㅁ그 班列(반열)을
나누었더라
David divided the Levites into groups corresponding to the sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath and Merari. And David divided them into courses among the sons of Levi, namely, Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. |

● ㅂ게르손 子孫(자손)은 라단과 시므이라

Belonging to the Gershonites: Ladan and Shimei. Of the Gershonites were, Laadan, and Shimei. |

라단의 아들들은 族長(족장) ㅅ여히엘과 또 세담과 요엘 세 사람이요
The sons of Ladan: Jehiel the first, Zetham and Joel--three in all. The sons of Laadan; the chief was Jehiel, and Zetham, and Joel, three. |

시므이의 아들들은 슬로밋과 하시엘과 하란 세 사람이니 이는 라단의 族長(족장)들이며
The sons of Shimei: Shelomoth, Haziel and Haran--three in all. These were the heads of the families of Ladan. The sons of Shimei; Shelomith, and Haziel, and Haran, three. These were the chief of the fathers of Laadan. |

또 시므이의 아들들은 야핫과 시나와 여우스와 브리아니 이 네 사람도 시므이의 아들이라
And the sons of Shimei: Jahath, Ziza, Jeush and Beriah. These were the sons of Shimei--four in all. And the sons of Shimei were, Jahath, Zina, and Jeush, and Beriah. These four were the sons of Shimei. |

그 族長(족장)은 야핫이요 그 다음은 시사며 여우스와 브리아는 아들이 많지 아니하므로 저희와 한 族屬(족속)으로 計數(계수)되었더라
Jahath was the first and Ziza the second, but Jeush and Beriah did not have many sons; so they were counted as one family with one assignment. And Jahath was the chief, and Zizah the second: but Jeush and Beriah had not many sons; therefore they were in one reckoning, according to their father's house. |

● ㅇ그핫의 아들들은 아므람과 이스할과 헤브론과 웃시엘 네 사람이라
The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel--four in all. The sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, four. |

ㅈ아므람의 아들들은 아론과 모세니 ㅊ아론은 그 子孫(자손)들과 함께 區別(구별)되어 몸을 聖潔(성결)케 하여 永遠(영원)토록 至極(지극)히 거룩한 者(자)가 되어 ㅋ여호와 앞에 焚香(분향)하며 ㅌ섬기며
永遠(영원)토록 ㅍ그 이름을 받들어 祝福(축복)하게 되었으며
The sons of Amram: Aaron and Moses. Aaron was set apart, he and his descendants forever, to consecrate the most holy things, to offer sacrifices before the LORD, to minister before him and to pronounce blessings in his name forever. The sons of Amram; Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister unto him, and to bless in his name for ever. |

ㅎ하나님의 사람 모세의 ㅏ아들들은 레위 支派(지파) 中(중)에 記錄(기록)되었으니
The sons of Moses the man of God were counted as part of the tribe of Levi. Now concerning Moses the man of God, his sons were named of the tribe of Levi. |

모세의 아들은 게르솜과 엘리에셀이라
The sons of Moses: Gershom and Eliezer. The sons of Moses were, Gershom, and Eliezer. |
16 |
ㅑ게르솜의 아들 中(중)에 ㅓ스브엘이 族長(족장)이 되었고
The descendants of Gershom: Shubael was the first. Of the sons of Gershom, Shebuel was the chief. |
17 |
엘리에셀의 아들은 族長(족장) 르하뱌라 엘리에셀이 이 外(외)에는 다른 아들이 없고 르하뱌의 아들은 甚(심)히 많았으며
The descendants of Eliezer: Rehabiah was the first. Eliezer had no other sons, but the sons of Rehabiah were very numerous. And the sons of Eliezer were, Rehabiah the chief. And Eliezer had none other sons; but the sons of Rehabiah were very many. |

The sons of Izhar: Shelomith was the first. Of the sons of Izhar; Shelomith the chief. |

ㅕ헤브론의 아들들은 族長(족장) 여리야와 둘째 아마랴와 세째 야하시엘과 네째 여가므암이며
The sons of Hebron: Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third and Jekameam the fourth. Of the sons of Hebron; Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth. |

ㅗ웃시엘의 아들은 族長(족장) 미가와 그 다음 잇시야더라
The sons of Uzziel: Micah the first and Isshiah the second. Of the sons of Uzziel; Michah the first, and Jesiah the second. |

● ㅛ므라리의 아들들은 마흘리와 무시요 마흘리의 아들들은 엘르아살과 ㅜ기스라
The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. The sons of Mahli: Eleazar and Kish. The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. The sons of Mahli; Eleazar, and Kish. |

엘르아살이 ㅠ아들이 없이 죽고 딸만 있더니 으그 兄弟(형제) 기스의 아들이 저에게 장가 들었으며
Eleazar died without having sons: he had only daughters. Their cousins, the sons of Kish, married them. And Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters: and their brethren the sons of Kish took them. |

● ㅐ이는 다 레위 子孫(자손)이니 그 宗家(종가)를 따라 計數(계수)함을 입어 ㄱ이름이 記錄(기록)되고 여호와의 殿(전)에서 섬기는 일을 하는
ㄴ二十歲(이십세) 以上(이상) 된 族長(족장)들이라
These were the descendants of Levi by their families--the heads of families as they were registered under their names and counted individually, that is, the workers twenty years old or more who served in the temple of the LORD. These were the sons of Levi after the house of their fathers; even the chief of the fathers, as they were counted by number of names by their polls, that did the work for the service of the house of the LORD, from the age of twenty years and upward. |

레위 사람이 다시는 ㄹ聖幕(성막)과 그 가운데서 쓰는 모든 器具(기구)를 멜 것이 없다 한지라
the Levites no longer need to carry the tabernacle or any of the articles used in its service." And also unto the Levites; they shall no more carry the tabernacle, nor any vessels of it for the service thereof. |

다윗의 遺言(유언)대로 레위 子孫(자손)이 二十歲(이십세) 以上(이상)으로 計數(계수)되었으니
According to the last instructions of David, the Levites were counted from those twenty years old or more. For by the last words of David the Levites were numbered from twenty years old and above: |

그 職分(직분)은 아론의 子孫(자손)에게 隧從(수종)들어 여호와의 殿(전)과 뜰과 골房(방)에서 섬기고 또 모든 聖物(성물)을 淨潔(정결)케 하는 일 곧 하나님의 殿(전)에서 섬기는 일과
The duty of the Levites was to help Aaron's descendants in the service of the temple of the LORD: to be in charge of the courtyards, the side rooms, the purification of all sacred things and the performance of other duties at the house of God. Because their office was to wait on the sons of Aaron for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God; |

ㅁ또 陳設餠(진설병)과 ㅂ고운 가루의 素祭物(소제물) 곧 無酵殿餠(무교전병)이나 ㅅ남비에 지지는 것이나 ㅇ반죽하는 것이나 또
모든 ㅈ저울과 자를 맡고
They were in charge of the bread set out on the table, the flour for the grain offerings, the unleavened wafers, the baking and the mixing, and all measurements of quantity and size. Both for the shewbread, and for the fine flour for meat offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for that which is baked in the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all manner of measure and size; |

새벽과 저녁마다 서서 여호와께 祝辭(축사)하며 讚頌(찬송)하며
They were also to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD. They were to do the same in the evening And to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at even; |
31 |
또 ㅊ安息日(안식일)과 ㅋ初(초)하루와 ㅌ節期(절기)에 모든 燔祭(번제)를 여호와께 드리되 그 命(명)하신 規例(규례)의 定(정)한 數爻(수효)대로 恒常(항상) 여호와 앞에 드리며
and whenever burnt offerings were presented to the LORD on Sabbaths and at New Moon festivals and at appointed feasts. They were to serve before the LORD regularly in the proper number and in the way prescribed for them. And to offer all burnt sacrifices unto the LORD in the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before the LORD: |

또 ㅍ會幕(회막)의 職務(직무)와 聖所(성소)의 職務(직무)와 ㅎ그 兄弟(형제) 아론 子孫(자손)의 職務(직무)를 지켜 여호와의 殿(전)에서 隧從(수종)드는
것이더라
And so the Levites carried out their responsibilities for the Tent of Meeting, for the Holy Place and, under their brothers the descendants of Aaron, for the service of the temple of the LORD. And that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, in the service of the house of the LORD. |
