이 ㄱ멜기세덱은 ㄴ살렘 王(왕)이요 ㄷ至極(지극)히 높으신 하나님의 祭司長(제사장)이라 여러 임금을 쳐서 죽이고 돌아오는
아브라함을 만나 福(복)을 빈 者(자)라
This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him, For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; |

아브라함이 一體(일체) 十分(십분)의 一(일)을 그에게 나눠 주니라 그 이름을 飜譯(번역)한즉 첫째 義(의)의 王(왕)이요 또 살렘 王(왕)이니 곧
平康(평강)의 王(왕)이요
and Abraham gave him a tenth of everything. First, his name means "king of righteousness"; then also, "king of Salem" means "king of peace." To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; |

아비도 없고 어미도 없고 ㄹ族譜(족보)도 없고 始作(시작)한 날도 없고 生命(생명)의 끝도 없어 하나님 아들과 彷佛(방불)하여
恒常(항상) 祭司長(제사장)으로 있느니라

Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God he remains a priest forever. Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. |

사람의 어떻게 높은 것을 생각하라 ㅁ祖上(조상) 아브라함이 擄略物(노략물) 中(중) 좋은 것으로 十分(십분)의 一(일)을 저에게 주었느니라
Just think how great he was: Even the patriarch Abraham gave him a tenth of the plunder! Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. |

레위의 아들들 가운데 ㅂ祭司長(제사장)의 職分(직분)을 받는 者(자)들이 律法(율법)을 좇아 아브라함의 허리에서 난
者(자)라도 自己(자기) 兄弟(형제)인 百姓(백성)에게서 十分(십분)의 一(일)을 取(취)하라는 命令(명령)을 가졌으나
Now the law requires the descendants of Levi who become priests to collect a tenth from the people--that is, their brothers--even though their brothers are descended from Abraham. And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham: |

ㅅ레위 族譜(족보)에 들지 아니한 멜기세덱은 아브라함에게서 十分(십분)의 一(일)을 取(취)하고 그 ㅇ約束(약속) 얻은 者(자)를 爲(위)하여 福(복)을 빌었나니
This man, however, did not trace his descent from Levi, yet he collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises. But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises. |

蔽一言(폐일언)하고 낮은 者(자)가 높은
者(자)에게 福(복) 빎을 받느니라
And without doubt the lesser person is blessed by the greater. And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better. |
8 |
또 여기는 죽을 者(자)들이 十分(십분)의 一(일)을 받으나 저기는 ㅈ산다고 ㅊ證據(증거)를 얻은 者(자)가 받았느니라
In the one case, the tenth is collected by men who die; but in the other case, by him who is declared to be living. And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth. |

또한 十分(십분)의 一(일)을 받는 레위도 아브라함으로 말미암아 十分(십분)의 一(일)을 바쳤다 할 수 있나니
One might even say that Levi, who collects the tenth, paid the tenth through Abraham, And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. |

이는 멜기세덱이 아브라함을 만날 때에 레위는 아직 自己(자기) 祖上(조상)의 허리에 있었음이니라
because when Melchizedek met Abraham, Levi was still in the body of his ancestor. For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him. |
11 |
● 레위 系統(계통)의 ㅋ祭祀(제사) 職分(직분)으로 말미암아 穩全(온전)함을 얻을 수 있었으면
百姓(백성)이 그 아래서 律法(율법)을 받았으니 어찌하여 아론의 班次(반차)를 좇지 않고 멜기세덱의 班次(반차)를 좇는 별다른 한 祭司長(제사장)을 세울 必要(필요)가 있느뇨
If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it the law was given to the people), why was there still need for another priest to come--one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron? If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? |

祭祀(제사) 職分(직분)이 變易(변역)한즉 律法(율법)도 반드시 變易(변역)하리니
For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law. For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. |
13 |
이것은 한 사람도 祭壇(제단) 일을 받들지 않는 支派(지파)에 屬(속)한 者(자)를 가리켜 말한 것이라
He of whom these things are said belonged to a different tribe, and no one from that tribe has ever served at the altar. For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. |

우리 主(주)께서 ㅌ유다로 좇아 나신 것이 分明(분명)하도다 이 支派(지파)에는 모세가 祭司長(제사장)들에 關(관)하여 말한 것이 하나도 없고
For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah, and in regard to that tribe Moses said nothing about priests. For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. |
15 |
멜기세덱과 같은 별다른 한 祭司長(제사장)이 일어난 것을 보니 더욱 分明(분명)하도다
And what we have said is even more clear if another priest like Melchizedek appears, And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, |
16 |
그는 肉體(육체)에 相關(상관)된 誡命(계명)의 法(법)을 좇지 아니하고 오직 無窮(무궁)한 生命(생명)의 能力(능력)을 좇아 된 것이니
one who has become a priest not on the basis of a regulation as to his ancestry but on the basis of the power of an indestructible life. Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. |
17 |
證據(증거)하기를 ㅍ네가 永遠(영원)히 멜기세덱의 班次(반차)를 좇는 祭司長(제사장)이라 하였도다
For it is declared: "You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek." For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. |

前(전)엣 誡命(계명)이 ㅎ軟弱(연약)하며 無益(무익)하므로 廢(폐)하고
The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. |
19 |
ㅏ律法(율법)은 아무 것도 穩全(온전)케 못할찌라 이에 더 ㅑ좋은 所望(소망)이 생기니 이것으로 ㅓ우리가
하나님께 가까이 가느니라
(for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God. For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. |
20 |
또 예수께서 祭司長(제사장) 된 것은 盟誓(맹세) 없이 된 것이 아니니
And it was not without an oath! Others became priests without any oath, And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest: |
21 |
저희는 盟誓(맹세) 없이 祭司長(제사장)이 되었으되 오직 예수는 自己(자기)에게 말씀하신 者(자)로 말미암아 盟誓(맹세)로 되신 것이라 主(주)께서 盟誓(맹세)하시고 뉘우치지
아니하시리니 ㅕ네가 永遠(영원)히 祭司長(제사장)이라 하셨도다

but he became a priest with an oath when God said to him: "The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind: 'You are a priest forever.'" (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:) |

이와 같이 예수는 ㅗ더 좋은 言約(언약)의 保證(보증)이 되셨느니라

Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant. By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. |

저희 祭司長(제사장) 된 者(자)의 數爻(수효)가 많은 것은 죽음을 因(인)하여 恒常(항상) 있지 못함이로되
Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: |
24 |
예수는 ㅛ永遠(영원)히 계시므로 그 祭祀(제사) 職分(직분)도 갈리지 아니하나니
but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. |
25 |
그러므로 ㅜ自己(자기)를 힘입어 ㅠ하나님께 나아가는 者(자)들을 穩全(온전)히
救援(구원)하실 수 있으니 이는 그가 恒常(항상) 살아서 저희를 爲(위)하여 으懇求(간구)하심이니라
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. |

● 이러한 大祭司長(대제사장)은 우리에게 合當(합당)하니 이거룩하고 惡(악)이 없고 더러움이 없고
ㅐ罪人(죄인)에게서 떠나 계시고 ㄱ하늘보다 높이 되신 者(자)라
Such a high priest meets our need--one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; |
27 |
저가 저 大祭司長(대제사장)들이 ㄴ먼저 自己(자기) 罪(죄)를 爲(위)하고 다음에
ㄷ百姓(백성)의 罪(죄)를 爲(위)하여 날마다 祭祀(제사) 드리는 것과 같이 할 必要(필요)가 없으니 이는 저가 單番(단번)에 自己(자기)를 드려 이루셨음이니라
Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself. Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. |
28 |
律法(율법)은 ㄹ弱點(약점)을 가진 사람들을 祭司長(제사장)으로 세웠거니와 律法(율법) 後(후)에 하신 盟誓(맹세)의 말씀은 永遠(영원)히 ㅁ穩全(온전)케 되신 아들을 세우셨느니라
For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever. For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. |
