● 사람이 ㅠ智慧者(지혜자)의 責望(책망)을 듣는 것이 愚昧者(우매자)의 노래를 듣는 것보다 나으니라
It is better to heed a wise man's rebuke than to listen to the song of fools. It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools. |

愚昧者(우매자)의 웃음 소리는 솥 밑에서 으가시나무의 이타는 소리 같으니 이것도 헛되니라
Like the crackling of thorns under the pot, so is the laughter of fools. This too is meaningless. For as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so is the laughter of the fool: this also is vanity. |

ㅐ貪虐(탐학)이 智慧者(지혜자)를 愚昧(우매)하게 하고 ㄱ賂物(뇌물)이 사람의 1)明哲(명철)을
亡(망)케 하느니라
Extortion turns a wise man into a fool, and a bribe corrupts the heart. Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; and a gift destroyeth the heart. |

Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools. Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools. |

옛날이 오늘보다 나은 것이 어찜이냐 하지 말라 이렇게 묻는 것이 智慧(지혜)가 아니니라
Do not say, "Why were the old days better than these?" For it is not wise to ask such questions. Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this. |

● 智慧(지혜)는 2)遺業(유업)같이 아름답고 ㅁ햇빛을 보는 者(자)에게 有益(유익)하도다
Wisdom, like an inheritance, is a good thing and benefits those who see the sun. Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that see the sun. |

智慧(지혜)도 保護(보호)하는 것이 되고 ㅂ돈도 保護(보호)하는 것이 되나 ㅅ知識(지식)이 더욱 아름다움은 智慧(지혜)는 智慧(지혜) 얻은 者(자)의 生命(생명)을 保存(보존)함이니라
Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: that wisdom preserves the life of its possessor. For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it. |

ㅇ하나님의 行(행)하시는 일을 보라 ㅈ하나님이 굽게 하신 것을 누가 能(능)히 곧게 하겠느냐
Consider what God has done: Who can straighten what he has made crooked? Consider the work of God: for who can make that straight, which he hath made crooked? |

ㅊ亨通(형통)한 날에는 기뻐하고 困苦(곤고)한 날에는 생각하라 하나님이 이 두가지를 竝行(병행)하게 하사 ㅋ사람으로 그
將來(장래) 일을 能(능)히 헤아려 알지 못하게 하셨느니라
When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, a man cannot discover anything about his future. In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him. |

● 내가 내 ㅌ헛된 날에 이 모든 일을 본즉 ㅍ自己(자기)의 義(의)로운 中(중)에서 滅亡(멸망)하는 義人(의인)이 있고 ㅎ自己(자기)의
惡行(악행) 中(중)에서 長壽(장수)하는 惡人(악인)이 있으니
In this meaningless life of mine I have seen both of these: a righteous man perishing in his righteousness, and a wicked man living long in his wickedness. All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness. |

Do not be overwicked, and do not be a fool--why die before your time? Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time? |

너는 ㅓ이것을 잡으며 ㅕ저것을 ㅗ놓지 마는 것이 좋으니 하나님을 敬畏(경외)하는 者(자)는 이 모든 일에서 벗어날 것임이니라
It is good to grasp the one and not let go of the other. The man who fears God will avoid all extremes. It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all. |

能力(능력)이 있게 하느니라

So I turned my mind to understand, to investigate and to search out wisdom and the scheme of things and to understand the stupidity of wickedness and the madness of folly. I applied mine heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the reason of things, and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness and madness: |

하나님을 기뻐하는 者(자)는 저를 避(피)하려니와 ㅅ罪人(죄인)은 저에게 잡히리로다
I find more bitter than death the woman who is a snare, whose heart is a trap and whose hands are chains. The man who pleases God will escape her, but the sinner she will ensnare. And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her. |

while I was still searching but not finding--I found one upright man among a thousand, but not one upright woman among them all. Which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not: one man among a thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I not found. |

나의 깨달은 것이 이것이라 곧 ㅌ하나님이 사람을 正直(정직)하게 지으셨으나 ㅍ사람은 많은 꾀를 낸 것이니라
This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes." Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions. |
