Is not Boaz, with whose servant girls you have been, a kinsman of ours? Tonight he will be winnowing barley on the threshing floor. And now is not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshingfloor. |

그런즉 너는 ㅓ沐浴(목욕)하고 기름을 바르고 衣服(의복)을 입고 打作(타작) 마당에 내려가서 그 사람이 먹고 마시기를 다하기까지는 그에게 보이지 말고
Wash and perfume yourself, and put on your best clothes. Then go down to the threshing floor, but don't let him know you are there until he has finished eating and drinking. Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: but make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking. |

그가 누울 때에 너는 그 눕는 곳을 알았다가 들어 가서 그 발치 이불을 들고 거기 누우라 그가 너의 할일을 네게 告(고)하리라
When he lies down, note the place where he is lying. Then go and uncover his feet and lie down. He will tell you what to do." And it shall be, when he lieth down, that thou shalt mark the place where he shall lie, and thou shalt go in, and uncover his feet, and lay thee down; and he will tell thee what thou shalt do. |

룻이 媤母(시모)에게 이르되 어머니의 말씀대로 내가 다 行(행)하리이다 하니라
I will do whatever you say, Ruth answered. And she said unto her, All that thou sayest unto me I will do. |

● 그가 打作(타작) 마당으로 내려가서 媤母(시모)의 命(명)대로 다 하니라
So she went down to the threshing floor and did everything her mother-in-law told her to do. And she went down unto the floor, and did according to all that her mother in law bade her. |

When Boaz had finished eating and drinking and was in good spirits, he went over to lie down at the far end of the grain pile. Ruth approached quietly, uncovered his feet and lay down. And when Boaz had eaten and drunk, and his heart was merry, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of corn: and she came softly, and uncovered his feet, and laid her down. |

In the middle of the night something startled the man, and he turned and discovered a woman lying at his feet. And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet. |

가로되 네가 누구뇨 對答(대답)하되 나는 當身(당신)의 侍女(시녀) 룻이오니 當身(당신)의 ㅗ옷자락으로 侍女(시녀)를 덮으소서 當身(당신)은 우리 ㅛ基業(기업)을 무를 者(자)가 됨이니이다
Who are you? he asked. "I am your servant Ruth," she said. "Spread the corner of your garment over me, since you are a kinsman-redeemer." And he said, Who art thou? And she answered, I am Ruth thine handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid; for thou art a near kinsman. |

가로되 내 딸아 ㅜ여호와께서 네게 福(복)주시기를 願(원)하노라 네가 貧富(빈부)를 勿論(물론)하고 年少(연소)한 者(자)를 좇지 아니하였으니 너의 베푼 仁愛(인애)가 ㅠ처음보다 나중이 더하도다
The LORD bless you, my daughter, he replied. "This kindness is greater than that which you showed earlier: You have not run after the younger men, whether rich or poor. And he said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my daughter: for thou hast shewed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as thou followedst not young men, whether poor or rich. |

내 딸아 두려워말라 내가 네 말대로 네게 다 行(행)하리라 네가 으賢淑(현숙)한 女子(여자)인 줄 나의 城邑(성읍) 百姓(백성)이 다 아느니라
And now, my daughter, don't be afraid. I will do for you all you ask. All my fellow townsmen know that you are a woman of noble character. And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman. |

그 基業(기업) 무를
者(자)의 責任(책임)을 行(행)할 것이니라 萬一(만일) 그가 基業(기업) 무를
者(자)의 責任(책임)을 네게 履行(이행)코자 아니하면 여호와의 ㄱ사심으로 盟誓(맹세)하노니 내가 基業(기업) 무를
者(자)의 責任(책임)을 네게 行(행)하리라 아침까지 누울찌니라
Stay here for the night, and in the morning if he wants to redeem, good; let him redeem. But if he is not willing, as surely as the LORD lives I will do it. Lie here until morning." Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman's part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as the LORD liveth: lie down until the morning. |

● 룻이 새벽까지 그 발치에 누웠다가 사람이 彼此(피차) 알아보기 어려울때에 일어났으니 보아스의 말에 女人(여인)이 打作(타작) 마당에 들어온 것을 사람이 알지 못하여야 할 것이라 하였음이라
So she lay at his feet until morning, but got up before anyone could be recognized; and he said, "Don't let it be known that a woman came to the threshing floor." And she lay at his feet until the morning: and she rose up before one could know another. And he said, Let it not be known that a woman came into the floor. |

When Ruth came to her mother-in-law, Naomi asked, "How did it go, my daughter?" Then she told her everything Boaz had done for her And when she came to her mother in law, she said, Who art thou, my daughter? And she told her all that the man had done to her. |

and added, "He gave me these six measures of barley, saying, 'Don't go back to your mother-in-law empty-handed.'" And she said, These six measures of barley gave he me; for he said to me, Go not empty unto thy mother in law. |

이에 媤母(시모)가 가로되 내 딸아 이 事件(사건)이 어떻게 되는 것을 알기까지 가만히 앉아 있으라 그 사람이 오늘날 이 일을 成就(성취)하기 前(전)에는 쉬지 아니하리라
Then Naomi said, "Wait, my daughter, until you find out what happens. For the man will not rest until the matter is settled today." Then said she, Sit still, my daughter, until thou know how the matter will fall: for the man will not be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day. |
