다윗의 아들 ㄱ솔로몬의 王位(왕위)가 堅固(견고)하여 가며 그 하나님 여호와께서 저와 함께 하사 ㄴ甚(심)히 昌大(창대)케 하시니라
Solomon son of David established himself firmly over his kingdom, for the LORD his God was with him and made him exceedingly great. And Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the LORD his God was with him, and magnified him exceedingly. |

Then Solomon spoke to all Israel--to the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds, to the judges and to all the leaders in Israel, the heads of families-- Then Solomon spake unto all Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and to the judges, and to every governor in all Israel, the chief of the fathers. |

온 會衆(회중)과 함께 ㄹ기브온 山堂(산당)으로 갔으니 ㅁ하나님의 會幕(회막) 곧 여호와의 종 모세가 曠野(광야)에서 지은 것이 ㅂ거기
있음이라
and Solomon and the whole assembly went to the high place at Gibeon, for God's Tent of Meeting was there, which Moses the LORD'S servant had made in the desert. So Solomon, and all the congregation with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon; for there was the tabernacle of the congregation of God, which Moses the servant of the LORD had made in the wilderness. |

ㅅ다윗이 殿(전)에 예루살렘에서 하나님의 櫃(궤)를 爲(위)하여 帳幕(장막)을 쳤었으므로 그 櫃(궤)는 다윗이 이미 기럇여아림에서부터 爲(위)하여 豫備(예비)한
곳으로 메어 올렸고
Now David had brought up the ark of God from Kiriath Jearim to the place he had prepared for it, because he had pitched a tent for it in Jerusalem. But the ark of God had David brought up from Kirjathjearim to the place which David had prepared for it: for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem. |

옛적에 훌의 孫子(손자) 우리의 아들 ㅇ브사렐의 지은 ㅈ놋壇(단)은 여호와의 帳幕(장막) 앞에 있더라 솔로몬이 會衆(회중)으로 더불어 ㅊ나아가서
But the bronze altar that Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made was in Gibeon in front of the tabernacle of the LORD; so Solomon and the assembly inquired of him there. Moreover the brasen altar, that Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, he put before the tabernacle of the LORD: and Solomon and the congregation sought unto it. |

여호와 앞 곧 會幕(회막) 앞에 있는 놋壇(단)에 이르러 ㅋ그 위에 一千(일천) 犧牲(희생)으로 燔祭(번제)를 드렸더라

Solomon went up to the bronze altar before the LORD in the Tent of Meeting and offered a thousand burnt offerings on it. And Solomon went up thither to the brasen altar before the LORD, which was at the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered a thousand burnt offerings upon it. |

● ㅌ이 밤에 하나님이 솔로몬에게 나타나사 이르시되 내가 네게 무엇을 줄꼬 너는 求(구)하라
That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him, "Ask for whatever you want me to give you." In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee. |

솔로몬이 하나님께 여짜오되 主(주)께서 前(전)에 큰 恩惠(은혜)를 나의 아비 다윗에게 베푸시고 ㅍ나로 代身(대신)하여 王(왕)이 되게 하셨사오니

Solomon answered God, "You have shown great kindness to David my father and have made me king in his place. And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead. |

여호와 하나님이여 ㅎ願(원)컨대 主(주)는 내 아비 다윗에게 하신 것을 이제 굳게 하옵소서 主(주)께서 나로 ㅏ땅의 티끌 같이 많은 百姓(백성)의 王(왕)을
삼으셨사오니
Now, LORD God, let your promise to my father David be confirmed, for you have made me king over a people who are as numerous as the dust of the earth. Now, O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude. |

主(주)는 이제 내게 智慧(지혜)와 知識(지식)을 주사 ㅑ이 百姓(백성) 앞에서 出入(출입)하게 하옵소서 이렇게 많은
主(주)의 百姓(백성)을 누가 能(능)히 裁判(재판)하리이까
Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people, for who is able to govern this great people of yours?" Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great? |

하나님이 솔로몬에게 이르시되 이런 마음이 네게 있어서 ㅓ富(부)나 財物(재물)이나 尊影(존영)이나 怨讐(원수)의 生命(생명) 滅(멸)하기를 求(구)하지 아니하며 長壽(장수)도 求(구)하지 아니하고 오직 내가 너로 治理(치리)하게
한 내 百姓(백성)을 裁判(재판)하기 爲(위)하여 智慧(지혜)와 知識(지식)을 求(구)하였으니
God said to Solomon, "Since this is your heart's desire and you have not asked for wealth, riches or honor, nor for the death of your enemies, and since you have not asked for a long life but for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people over whom I have made you king, And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king: |

그러므로 내가 네게 智慧(지혜)와 知識(지식)을 주고 富(부)와 財物(재물)과 尊影(존영)도
주리니 ㅕ너의 前(전)의 王(왕)들이 이같음이 없었거니와 너의 後(후)에도 이같음이 없으리라
therefore wisdom and knowledge will be given you. And I will also give you wealth, riches and honor, such as no king who was before you ever had and none after you will have." Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like. |

이에 솔로몬이 기브온 山堂(산당) ㅗ會幕(회막) 앞에서부터 예루살렘으로 돌아와서 이스라엘을 治理(치리)하였더라

Then Solomon went to Jerusalem from the high place at Gibeon, from before the Tent of Meeting. And he reigned over Israel. Then Solomon came from his journey to the high place that was at Gibeon to Jerusalem, from before the tabernacle of the congregation, and reigned over Israel. |

● ㅛ솔로몬이 兵車(병거)와 馬兵(마병)을 모으매 ㅜ兵車(병거)가 一千(일천) 四百(사백)이요 馬兵(마병)이 一萬(일만) 二千(이천)이라
ㅠ兵車城(병거성)에도 두고 예루살렘 王(왕)에게도 두었으며
Solomon accumulated chariots and horses; he had fourteen hundred chariots and twelve thousand horses, which he kept in the chariot cities and also with him in Jerusalem. And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, which he placed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem. |

王(왕)이 예루살렘에서 銀(은) 金(금)을 돌같이 흔하게 하고 柏香木(백향목)을 平地(평지)의 뽕나무같이 많게 하였더라
The king made silver and gold as common in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar as plentiful as sycamore-fig trees in the foothills. And the king made silver and gold at Jerusalem as plenteous as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that are in the vale for abundance. |

솔로몬의 말들은 애굽에서 내어 왔으니 王(왕)의 商賈(상고)들이 떼로 定價(정가)하여 산 것이며
Solomon's horses were imported from Egypt and from Kue--the royal merchants purchased them from Kue. And Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king's merchants received the linen yarn at a price. |

애굽에서 내어 올린 兵車(병거)는 하나에 銀(은) 六百(육백) 세겔이요 말은 一百(일백) 五十(오십) 세겔이라 이와 같이 헷 사람의 모든 王(왕)과 아람 王(왕)들을 爲(위)하여도 그 손으로 내어 왔었더라
They imported a chariot from Egypt for six hundred shekels of silver, and a horse for a hundred and fifty. They also exported them to all the kings of the Hittites and of the Arameans. And they fetched up, and brought forth out of Egypt a chariot for six hundred shekels of silver, and an horse for an hundred and fifty: and so brought they out horses for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, by their means. |
