ㄱ슬프다 이 城(성)이여 本來(본래)는 居民(거민)이 많더니 이제는 어찌 그리 寂寞(적막)히 앉았는고 本來(본래)는 列國(열국) 中(중)에 크던 者(자)가 이제는 ㄴ寡婦(과부) 같고
本來(본래)는 列邦(열방) 中(중)에 ㄷ公主(공주) 되었던
者(자)가 이제는 ㄹ朝貢(조공) 드리는 者(자)가 되었도다
How deserted lies the city, once so full of people! How like a widow is she, who once was great among the nations! She who was queen among the provinces has now become a slave. How doth the city sit solitary, that was full of people! how is she become as a widow! she that was great among the nations, and princess among the provinces, how is she become tributary! |

ㅁ밤새도록 哀哭(애곡)하니 눈물이 뺨에 흐름이여 ㅂ사랑하던 者(자) 中(중)에 ㅅ慰勞(위로)하는 者(자)가 없고
ㅇ親舊(친구)도 다 背叛(배반)하여 怨讐(원수)가 되었도다
Bitterly she weeps at night, tears are upon her cheeks. Among all her lovers there is none to comfort her. All her friends have betrayed her; they have become her enemies. She weepeth sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks: among all her lovers she hath none to comfort her: all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies. |

ㅈ유다는 患難(환난)과 많은 受苦(수고)로 因(인)하여 사로잡혀 갔도다 저가 ㅊ列邦(열방)에 居(거)하여 ㅋ平康(평강)을 얻지 못함이여 그 모든 逼迫(핍박)하는 者(자)가 저를 쫓아 狹窄(협착)한 곳에 미쳤도다
After affliction and harsh labor, Judah has gone into exile. She dwells among the nations; she finds no resting place. All who pursue her have overtaken her in the midst of her distress. Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude: she dwelleth among the heathen, she findeth no rest: all her persecutors overtook her between the straits. |

시온의 道路(도로)가 凄凉(처량)함이여 ㅌ節期(절기)에 나아가는 사람이 없음이로다 ㅍ모든 城門(성문)이 荒寂(황적)하며 祭司長(제사장)들이 ㅎ歎息(탄식)하며 處女(처녀)들이 근심하며 저도 困苦(곤고)를 받았도다
The roads to Zion mourn, for no one comes to her appointed feasts. All her gateways are desolate, her priests groan, her maidens grieve, and she is in bitter anguish. The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness. |

ㅏ저의 對敵(대적)이 머리가 되고 저의 ㅑ怨讐(원수)가 亨通(형통)함은 ㅓ저의 罪(죄)가 많으므로 ㅕ여호와께서 困苦(곤고)케 하셨음이라 ㅗ어린 子女(자녀)들이 對敵(대적)에게 사로잡혔도다
Her foes have become her masters; her enemies are at ease. The LORD has brought her grief because of her many sins. Her children have gone into exile, captive before the foe. Her adversaries are the chief, her enemies prosper; for the LORD hath afflicted her for the multitude of her transgressions: her children are gone into captivity before the enemy. |

處女(처녀) 시온의 모든 榮光(영광)이 떠나감이여 저의 牧伯(목백)은 ㅛ꼴을 찾지 못한 사슴이 쫓는 者(자) 앞에서 힘없이 달림 같도다

All the splendor has departed from the Daughter of Zion. Her princes are like deer that find no pasture; in weakness they have fled before the pursuer. And from the daughter of Zion all her beauty is departed: her princes are become like harts that find no pasture, and they are gone without strength before the pursuer. |

예루살렘이 患難(환난)과 窘迫(군박)을 當(당)하는 날에 ㅜ옛날의 ㅠ모든 즐거움을 생각함이여 百姓(백성)이 對敵(대적)의 손에 빠지나
돕는 者(자)가 없고 對敵(대적)은 보고 으그 荒寂(황적)함을 비웃도다
In the days of her affliction and wandering Jerusalem remembers all the treasures that were hers in days of old. When her people fell into enemy hands, there was no one to help her. Her enemies looked at her and laughed at her destruction. Jerusalem remembered in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that she had in the days of old, when her people fell into the hand of the enemy, and none did help her: the adversaries saw her, and did mock at her sabbaths. |

이예루살렘이 크게 犯罪(범죄)하므로 不潔(불결)한 者(자) 같이 되니 前(전)에 높이던 모든 者(자)가 ㅐ그 赤身(적신)을 보고 업신여김이여 저가 ㄱ歎息(탄식)하며 물러가도다
Jerusalem has sinned greatly and so has become unclean. All who honored her despise her, for they have seen her nakedness; she herself groans and turns away. Jerusalem hath grievously sinned; therefore she is removed: all that honoured her despise her, because they have seen her nakedness: yea, she sigheth, and turneth backward. |

저의 더러움이
ㄴ그 치마에 있으나 ㄷ結局(결국)을 생각지 아니함이여 그러므로 놀랍게 낮아져도 ㄹ慰勞(위로)할 者(자)가 없도다 여호와여 怨讐(원수)가
ㅁ스스로 큰 체하오니 나의 患難(환난)을 監察(감찰)하소서
Her filthiness clung to her skirts; she did not consider her future. Her fall was astounding; there was none to comfort her. "Look, O LORD, on my affliction, for the enemy has triumphed." Her filthiness is in her skirts; she remembereth not her last end; therefore she came down wonderfully: she had no comforter. O LORD, behold my affliction: for the enemy hath magnified himself. |

對敵(대적)이 손을 펴서 ㅂ寶物(보물)을 빼앗았나이다 主(주)께서 이미 ㅅ異邦人(이방인)을 禁(금)하여 主(주)의 公會(공회)에 들어오지 못하게 하셨사오나 저희가 ㅇ聖所(성소)에 들어간 것을 예루살렘이 보았나이다
The enemy laid hands on all her treasures; she saw pagan nations enter her sanctuary--those you had forbidden to enter your assembly. The adversary hath spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things: for she hath seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom thou didst command that they should not enter into thy congregation. |

그 모든 百姓(백성)이 生命(생명)을 蘇醒(소성)시키려고 寶物(보물)로 ㅈ植物(식물)들을 바꾸었더니 지금도 歎息(탄식)하며 ㅊ糧食(양식)을 求(구)하나이다 나는 卑賤(비천)하오니 여호와여 나를 眷顧(권고)하옵소서
All her people groan as they search for bread; they barter their treasures for food to keep themselves alive. "Look, O LORD, and consider, for I am despised." All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for meat to relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and consider; for I am become vile. |

무릇
ㅋ지나가는 者(자)여 너희에게는 關係(관계)가 없는가 ㅌ내게 臨(임)한 근심 같은 근심이 있는가 볼찌어다 ㅍ여호와께서 震怒(진노)하신 날에
ㅎ나를 괴롭게 하신 것이로다
Is it nothing to you, all you who pass by? Look around and see. Is any suffering like my suffering that was inflicted on me, that the LORD brought on me in the day of his fierce anger? Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger. |

위에서부터 나의 骨髓(골수)에 ㅏ불을 보내어 이기게 하시고 내 발 앞에 ㅑ그물을 베푸사 ㅓ나로 물러가게 하셨음이여 終日(종일)토록 孤寂(고적)하여 困憊(곤비)케 하셨도다
From on high he sent fire, sent it down into my bones. He spread a net for my feet and turned me back. He made me desolate, faint all the day long. From above hath he sent fire into my bones, and it prevaileth against them: he hath spread a net for my feet, he hath turned me back: he hath made me desolate and faint all the day. |

ㅕ내 罪惡(죄악)의 멍에를 그 손으로 묶고 얽어 내 목에 올리사 내 힘을 疲困(피곤)케 하셨음이여 내가 當(당)할 수 없는 者(자)의 손에 主(주)께서 나를 붙이셨도다

My sins have been bound into a yoke; by his hands they were woven together. They have come upon my neck and the Lord has sapped my strength. He has handed me over to those I cannot withstand. The yoke of my transgressions is bound by his hand: they are wreathed, and come up upon my neck: he hath made my strength to fall, the Lord hath delivered me into their hands, from whom I am not able to rise up. |

主(주)께서 내 地境(지경) 안 모든 勇士(용사)를 없는 것 같이 여기시고 聖會(성회)를 모아 내 少年(소년)들을 부수심이여 ㅗ處女(처녀) 유다를 술틀에 밟으셨도다

The Lord has rejected all the warriors in my midst; he has summoned an army against me to crush my young men. In his winepress the Lord has trampled the Virgin Daughter of Judah. The Lord hath trodden under foot all my mighty men in the midst of me: he hath called an assembly against me to crush my young men: the Lord hath trodden the virgin, the daughter of Judah, as in a winepress. |

이를 因(인)하여 ㅛ내가 우니 내 눈에 눈물이 물 같이 흐름이여 ㅜ나를 慰勞(위로)하여 ㅠ내 靈(영)을 蘇醒(소성)시킬
者(자)가 멀리 떠났음이로다 怨讐(원수)들이 이기매 내 子女(자녀)들이 외롭도다
This is why I weep and my eyes overflow with tears. No one is near to comfort me, no one to restore my spirit. My children are destitute because the enemy has prevailed. For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed. |

으시온이 두손을 폈으나 慰勞(위로)할 者(자)가 없도다 여호와께서 야곱의 四面(사면)에 있는 者(자)를 命(명)하여 야곱의 對敵(대적)이 되게 하셨으니 예루살렘은 저희 가운데
不潔(불결)한 者(자) 같도다
Zion stretches out her hands, but there is no one to comfort her. The LORD has decreed for Jacob that his neighbors become his foes; Jerusalem has become an unclean thing among them. Zion spreadeth forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her: the LORD hath commanded concerning Jacob, that his adversaries should be round about him: Jerusalem is as a menstruous woman among them. |

이여호와는 義(의)로우시도다 ㅐ내가 여호와의 命令(명령)을 拒逆(거역)하였도다 너희 모든 百姓(백성)들아 내 말을 듣고 내 근심을 볼찌어다
ㄱ나의 處女(처녀)와 少年(소년)들이 사로잡혀 갔도다
The LORD is righteous, yet I rebelled against his command. Listen, all you peoples; look upon my suffering. My young men and maidens have gone into exile. The LORD is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment: hear, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorrow: my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity. |

내가 내 ㄴ사랑하는 者(자)를 불렀으나 저희가 나를 속였으며 ㄷ나의 祭司長(제사장)들과 長老(장로)들은 蘇醒(소성)시킬
植物(식물)을 求(구)하다가 城中(성중)에서 氣絶(기절)하였도다
I called to my allies but they betrayed me. My priests and my elders perished in the city while they searched for food to keep themselves alive. I called for my lovers, but they deceived me: my priests and mine elders gave up the ghost in the city, while they sought their meat to relieve their souls. |

여호와여 돌아보옵소서 내가 患難(환난) 中(중)에서 ㄹ마음이 괴롭고 마음이 煩惱(번뇌)하오니 나의 悖逆(패역)이 甚(심)히 큼이니이다 ㅁ밖으로는 칼의 殺戮(살륙)이 있고 집에는
死亡(사망) 같은 것이 있나이다
See, O LORD, how distressed I am! I am in torment within, and in my heart I am dispurbed, for I have been most rebellious. Outside, the sword bereaves; inside, there is only death. Behold, O LORD; for I am in distress: my bowels are troubled; mine heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled: abroad the sword bereaveth, at home there is as death. |

저희가 ㅂ나의 歎息(탄식)을 들었으나 ㅅ나를 慰勞(위로)하는 者(자)가 없고 나의 모든
怨讐(원수)가 나의 災殃(재앙)을 들었으나 主(주)께서 이렇게 行(행)하심을 ㅇ기뻐하나이다 主(주)께서 頒布(반포)하신 날을 이르게 하시리니 저희가 나와 같이 되겠나이다
People have heard my groaning, but there is no one to comfort me. All my enemies have heard of my distress; they rejoice at what you have done. May you bring the day you have announced so they may become like me. They have heard that I sigh: there is none to comfort me: all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that thou hast done it: thou wilt bring the day that thou hast called, and they shall be like unto me. |

ㅈ저희 모든 惡(악)을 主(주) 앞에 나타내시고 ㅊ나의 모든 罪惡(죄악)을 因(인)하여 내게 行(행)하신 것같이 저희에게 行(행)하옵소서 나의 歎息(탄식)이 많고 ㅋ나의 마음이 困憊(곤비)하니이다
Let all their wickedness come before you; deal with them as you have dealt with me because of all my sins. My groans are many and my heart is faint. Let all their wickedness come before thee; and do unto them, as thou hast done unto me for all my transgressions: for my sighs are many, and my heart is faint. |
