ㅑ破壞(파괴)하는 者(자)가 너를 치러 올라왔나니 너는 ㅓ山城(산성)을 지키며 길을 把守(파수)하며 네 허리를 堅固(견고)히 묶고 네 힘을 크게 굳게 할찌어다
An attacker advances against you, Nineveh. Guard the fortress, watch the road, brace yourselves, marshal all your strength! He that dasheth in pieces is come up before thy face: keep the munition, watch the way, make thy loins strong, fortify thy power mightily. |

ㅕ여호와께서 야곱의 榮光(영광)을 恢復(회복)하시되 이스라엘의 榮光(영광) 같게 하시나니 이는 掠奪者(약탈자)들이 掠奪(약탈)하였고 또 ㅗ그 葡萄(포도)나무가지를 없이하였음이라
The LORD will restore the splendor of Jacob like the splendor of Israel, though destroyers have laid them waste and have ruined their vines. For the LORD hath turned away the excellency of Jacob, as the excellency of Israel: for the emptiers have emptied them out, and marred their vine branches. |

그의 勇士(용사)들의 防牌(방패)는 붉고 ㅛ그의 武士(무사)들의 옷도 붉으며 그 行伍(항오)를 벌이는 날에 兵車(병거)의 鐵(철)이 번쩍이고 老松(노송)나무 槍(창)이 搖動(요동)하는도다
The shields of his soldiers are red; the warriors are clad in scarlet. The metal on the chariots flashes on the day they are made ready; the spears of pine are brandished. The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet: the chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly shaken. |

ㅜ그 兵車(병거)는 거리에 미치게 달리며 大路(대로)에서 이리 저리 빨리 가니 그 貌樣(모양)이 횃불 같고 빠르기 번개 같도다

The chariots storm through the streets, rushing back and forth through the squares. They look like flaming torches; they dart about like lightning. The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings. |

그가 ㅠ그 尊貴(존귀)한 者(자)를 생각해 내니 으그들이 엎드러질듯이 달려서 急(급)히 城(성)에 이르러 막을 것을 豫備(예비)하도다
He summons his picked troops, yet they stumble on their way. They dash to the city wall; the protective shield is put in place. He shall recount his worthies: they shall stumble in their walk; they shall make haste to the wall thereof, and the defence shall be prepared. |

이江(강)들의 水門(수문)이 열리고 王宮(왕궁)이 ㅐ消滅(소멸)되며
The river gates are thrown open and the palace collapses. The gates of the rivers shall be opened, and the palace shall be dissolved. |

定命(정명)대로 ㄱ王后(왕후)가 벌거벗은 몸으로 끌려가며 그 모든 侍女(시녀)가 ㄴ가슴을 치며 ㄷ비둘기 같이 슬피 우는도다
It is decreed that the city be exiled and carried away. Its slave girls moan like doves and beat upon their breasts. And Huzzab shall be led away captive, she shall be brought up, and her maids shall lead her as with the voice of doves, tabering upon their breasts. |

● ㄹ니느웨는 예로부터 물이 모인 못 같더니 이제 모두 逃亡(도망)하니 서라 서라 하나 ㅁ돌아 보는 者(자)가 없도다
Nineveh is like a pool, and its water is draining away. "Stop! Stop!" they cry, but no one turns back. But Nineveh is of old like a pool of water: yet they shall flee away. Stand, stand, shall they cry; but none shall look back. |

銀(은)을 擄略(노략)하라 金(금)을 勒奪(늑탈)하라 그 貯蓄(저축)한 것이 無限(무한)하고 아름다운 器具(기구)가 豊富(풍부)함이니라
Plunder the silver! Plunder the gold! The supply is endless, the wealth from all its treasures! Take ye the spoil of silver, take the spoil of gold: for there is none end of the store and glory out of all the pleasant furniture. |

ㅂ니느웨가 空虛(공허)하였고 荒蕪(황무)하였도다 居民(거민)이 ㅅ落膽(낙담)하여
ㅇ그 무릎이 서로 부딪히며 ㅈ모든 허리가 아프게 되며 ㅊ모든 낯이 빛을 잃도다
She is pillaged, plundered, stripped! Hearts melt, knees give way, bodies tremble, every face grows pale. She is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together, and much pain is in all loins, and the faces of them all gather blackness. |

이제 獅子(사자)의 窟(굴)이 어디뇨 ㅋ젊은 獅子(사자)의 먹는 곳이 어디뇨 前(전)에는 수獅子(사자) 암獅子(사자)가 그 새끼 獅子(사자)와 함께 거기서 다니되 그것들을
ㅌ두렵게 할 者(자)가 없었으며
Where now is the lions' den, the place where they fed their young, where the lion and lioness went, and the cubs, with nothing to fear? Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them afraid? |

ㅍ수獅子(사자)가 그 새끼를 爲(위)하여 植物(식물)을 充分(충분)히 찢고 그 암獅子(사자)를 爲(위)하여 무엇을 ㅎ움켜서는
取(취)한 것으로 그 窟(굴)에 채웠고 찢은 것으로 그 구멍에 채웠었도다
The lion killed enough for his cubs and strangled the prey for his mate, filling his lairs with the kill and his dens with the prey. The lion did tear in pieces enough for his whelps, and strangled for his lionesses, and filled his holes with prey, and his dens with ravin. |

萬軍(만군)의 여호와의 말씀에 ㅏ내가 네 對敵(대적)이 되어 너의 ㅑ兵車(병거)들을 살라 煙氣(연기)가 되게 하고 너의 젊은 獅子(사자)들을 칼로 滅(멸)할 것이며
내가 또 너의 擄略(노략)한 것을 땅에서 끊으리니 너의 ㅓ派遣者(파견자)의 목소리가 다시는 들리지 아니하리라 하셨느니라
I am against you, declares the LORD Almighty. "I will burn up your chariots in smoke, and the sword will devour your young lions. I will leave you no prey on the earth. The voices of your messengers will no longer be heard." Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard. |
