對敵(대적)하는 者(자) 中(중)에 處(처)하는 者(자)를 치되
This is what the LORD says: "See, I will stir up the spirit of a destroyer against Babylon and the people of Leb Kamai. Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying wind; |

내가 2)他國人(타국인)을 바벨론에 보내어 ㅍ키질하여 그 땅을 비게 하리니 ㅎ災殃(재앙)의 날에 그를 에워 치리로다
I will send foreigners to Babylon to winnow her and to devastate her land; they will oppose her on every side in the day of her disaster. And will send unto Babylon fanners, that shall fan her, and shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about. |

ㅏ활을 당기는 者(자)를 向(향)하여 甲胄(갑주)를 갖추고 선 者(자)를 向(향)하여 쏘는 者(자)는 그 활을 당길 것이라 그 靑年(청년)들을 아끼지 말며
ㅑ그 軍隊(군대)를 殄滅(진멸)하라
Let not the archer string his bow, nor let him put on his armor. Do not spare her young men; completely destroy her army. Against him that bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifteth himself up in his brigandine: and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all her host. |

무리가 갈대아人(인)의 땅에서 죽임을 當(당)하여 엎드러질 것이요 ㅓ그 거리에서 찔림을 當(당)한 者(자)가 엎드러지리라 하시도다

They will fall down slain in Babylon, fatally wounded in her streets. Thus the slain shall fall in the land of the Chaldeans, and they that are thrust through in her streets. |

● 大抵(대저) ㅕ이스라엘과 유다가 이스라엘의 거룩하신 者(자)를 拒逆(거역)하므로 罪過(죄과)가 땅에 가득하나 그 하나님 萬軍(만군)의 여호와에게 버림을 입지 아니하였나니

For Israel and Judah have not been forsaken by their God, the LORD Almighty, though their land is full of guilt before the Holy One of Israel. For Israel hath not been forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the LORD of hosts; though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel. |

ㅗ바벨론 가운데서 逃亡(도망)하여 나와서 各其(각기) 生命(생명)을 救援(구원)하고 ㅛ그의 罪惡(죄악)으로 因(인)하여 끊침을 보지 말찌어다
ㅜ이는 여호와의 報酬(보수)의 때니 그에게 報復(보복)하시리라
Flee from Babylon! Run for your lives! Do not be destroyed because of her sins. It is time for the LORD'S vengeance; he will pay her what she deserves. Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD'S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence. |

바벨론은 여호와의 手中(수중)의 ㅠ온 世界(세계)로 醉(취)케 하는 으金盞(금잔)이라 이列邦(열방)이 그 葡萄酒(포도주)를 마시고 因(인)하여 미쳤도다
Babylon was a gold cup in the LORD'S hand; she made the whole earth drunk. The nations drank her wine; therefore they have now gone mad. Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD'S hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad. |

ㅐ바벨론이 猝地(졸지)에 넘어져 破滅(파멸)되니 ㄱ이로 因(인)하여 울라 그 創傷(창상)을 因(인)하여 ㄴ乳香(유향)을 求(구)하라 或(혹) 나으리로다
Babylon will suddenly fall and be broken. Wail over her! Get balm for her pain; perhaps she can be healed. Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed. |

우리가 바벨론을 治療(치료)하려 하여도 낫지 아니한즉 ㄷ버리고 ㄹ各其(각기) 故土(고토)로 돌아가자 ㅁ그 禍(화)가 하늘에 미쳤고 穹蒼(궁창)에 達(달)하였음이로다
'We would have healed Babylon, but she cannot be healed; let us leave her and each go to his own land, for her judgment reaches to the skies, it rises as high as the clouds.' We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies. |

ㅂ여호와께서 우리 義(의)를 드러내셨으니 ㅅ오라 시온에서 우리 하나님 여호와의 일을 宣布(선포)하자
'The LORD has vindicated us; come, let us tell in Zion what the LORD our God has done.' The LORD hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God. |

● ㅇ화살을 갈며 防牌(방패)를 굳게 잡으라 여호와께서 ㅈ메대 ㅊ王(왕)들의 마음을 激發(격발)하사 ㅋ바벨론을 滅(멸)하기로 뜻하시나니 ㅌ이는 여호와의 報酬(보수)하시는
것 곧 그 聖殿(성전)의 報酬(보수)하시는 것이라
Sharpen the arrows, take up the shields! The LORD has stirred up the kings of the Medes, because his purpose is to destroy Babylon. The LORD will take vengeance, vengeance for his temple. Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple. |

바벨론 城壁(성벽)을 向(향)하여 ㅍ旗(기)를 세우고 ㅎ튼튼히 지키며 把守軍(파수군)을 세우며 伏兵(복병) 을 베풀어防備(방비)하라 이는 여호와께서 바벨론 居民(거민)에 對(대)하여 말씀하신 대로 經營(경영)하시고 行(행)하심이로다
Lift up a banner against the walls of Babylon! Reinforce the guard, station the watchmen, prepare an ambush! The LORD will carry out his purpose, his decree against the people of Babylon. Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD hath both devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon. |

ㅏ많은 물가에 居(거)하여 財物(재물)이 많은 者(자)여 네 貪婪(탐남)의 限定(한정), 네 結局(결국)이 이르렀도다
You who live by many waters and are rich in treasures, your end has come, the time for you to be cut off. O thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, and the measure of thy covetousness. |

ㅑ萬軍(만군)의 여호와께서 自己(자기)로 盟誓(맹세)하시되 내가 眞實(진실)로 사람을 ㅓ蝗蟲(황충)같이 네게 가득히 하리니 ㅕ그들이 너를 向(향)하여 소리를 높이리라 하시도다
The LORD Almighty has sworn by himself: I will surely fill you with men, as with a swarm of locusts, and they will shout in triumph over you. The LORD of hosts hath sworn by himself, saying, Surely I will fill thee with men, as with caterpillers; and they shall lift up a shout against thee. |

● ㅗ여호와께서 그 權能(권능)으로 땅을 지으셨고 그 智慧(지혜)로 世界(세계)를 세우셨고 그 明哲(명철)로 하늘들을 펴셨으며
He made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding. He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding. |

그가 목소리를 發(발)하신즉 하늘에 많은 물이
生氣(생기)나니 그는 땅 끝에서 구름이 오르게 하시며 비를 爲(위)하여 번개하게 하시며 그 곳간에서 바람을 내시거늘
When he thunders, the waters in the heavens roar; he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses. When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth: he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures. |

사람마다 愚蠢(우준)하고 無識(무식)하도다 金匠色(금장색)마다 自己(자기)의 만든 神像(신상)으로 因(인)하여 羞恥(수치)를 當(당)하나니 이는 그 부어 만든 偶像(우상)은 거짓이요 그 속에 生氣(생기)가 없음이라
Every man is senseless and without knowledge; every goldsmith is shamed by his idols. His images are a fraud; they have no breath in them. Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. |

그것들은 헛 것이요 妄靈(망령)되이 만든 것인즉 懲罰(징벌)하시는 때에 滅亡(멸망)할 것이나
They are worthless, the objects of mockery; when their judgment comes, they will perish. They are vanity, the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish. |

야곱의 분깃은 이같이 아니하시니 그는 萬物(만물)의 造成者(조성자)요 이스라엘은 그 産業(산업)의 支派(지파)라 그 이름은 萬軍(만군)의 여호와시니라
He who is the Portion of Jacob is not like these, for he is the Maker of all things, including the tribe of his inheritance--the LORD Almighty is his name. The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things: and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: the LORD of hosts is his name. |

● 여호와께서 가라사대 ㅛ너는 나의 철퇴 곧 兵器(병기)라 내가 너로 ㅜ列邦(열방)을 破(파)하며 너로 國家(국가)들을 滅(멸)하며
You are my war club, my weapon for battle--with you I shatter nations, with you I destroy kingdoms, Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms; |

내가 너로 말과 그 탄 者(자)를 부수며 너로 兵車(병거)와 그 탄 者(자)를 부수며
with you I shatter horse and rider, with you I shatter chariot and driver, And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider; |

너로 男子(남자)와 女子(여자)를 부수며 너로 ㅠ老年(노년)과 幼年(유년)을 부수며 너로 靑年(청년)과 處女(처녀)를 부수며
with you I shatter man and woman, with you I shatter old man and youth, with you I shatter young man and maiden, With thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid; |

너로 牧者(목자)와 그 羊(양)떼를 부수며 너로 農夫(농부)와 그 멍엣소를 부수며 너로 으方伯(방백)들과頭領(두령)들을 부수리로다
with you I shatter shepherd and flock, with you I shatter farmer and oxen, with you I shatter governors and officials. I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers. |

그들이 이너희 目前(목전)에 시온에서 모든 惡(악)을 行(행)한대로 내가 바벨론과 갈대아 모든 居民(거민)에게 갚으리라 여호와의 말이니라
Before your eyes I will repay Babylon and all who live in Babylonia for all the wrong they have done in Zion, declares the LORD. And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, saith the LORD. |
25 |
● 나 여호와가 말하노라 ㅐ온 世界(세계)를 滅(멸)한 滅亡(멸망)의 山(산)아 보라 나는 네 對敵(대적)이라 나의 손을 네 위에 펴서 너를 바위에서 굴리고 ㄱ너로 불 탄 山(산)이 되게 할 것이니
I am against you, O destroying mountain, you who destroy the whole earth, declares the LORD. "I will stretch out my hand against you, roll you off the cliffs, and make you a burned-out mountain. Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain. |

사람이 네게서 ㄴ집 모퉁이 돌이나 기촛돌을 取(취)하지 아니할 것이요 너는 永永(영영)히 ㄷ荒蕪地(황무지)가 될 것이니라 여호와의 말이니라
No rock will be taken from you for a cornerstone, nor any stone for a foundation, for you will be desolate forever," declares the LORD. And they shall not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith the LORD. |
27 |
● 땅에 ㄹ旗(기)를 세우며 列邦(열방) 中(중)에 ㅁ나팔을
불어서 ㅂ列國(열국)을 ㅅ豫備(예비)시켜 그를 치며 ㅇ아라랏과 민니와 ㅈ아스그나스 ㅊ나라를 불러모아 그를
치며 ㅋ大將(대장)을 세우고 그를 치되 ㅌ사나운 蝗蟲(황충)같이 그 말들을 몰아오게 하라
Lift up a banner in the land! Blow the trumpet among the nations! Prepare the nations for battle against her; summon against her these kingdoms: Ararat, Minni and Ashkenaz. Appoint a commander against her; send up horses like a swarm of locusts. Set ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillers. |

列國(열국) 곧 ㅍ메대人(인)의 王(왕)들과 그 ㅎ方伯(방백)들과 그 모든 頭領(두령)과 그 ㅏ管轄(관할)하는 모든 땅을 豫備(예비)시켜 그를 치게 하라
Prepare the nations for battle against her--the kings of the Medes, their governors and all their officials, and all the countries they rule. Prepare against her the nations with the kings of the Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of his dominion. |

ㅑ땅이 震動(진동)하며 苦痛(고통)하나니 이는 나 ㅓ여호와가 바벨론을 쳐서 그 땅으로 荒蕪(황무)하여 居民(거민)이 없게 할 經營(경영)이 섰음이라
The land trembles and writhes, for the LORD'S purposes against Babylon stand--to lay waste the land of Babylon so that no one will live there. And the land shall tremble and sorrow: for every purpose of the LORD shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant. |
30 |
바벨론의 勇士(용사)는 싸움을 그치고 그 要塞(요새)에 머무르나 氣力(기력)이 衰(쇠)하여 ㅕ女人(여인)같이 되며 ㅗ그 居處(거처)는 불타고
ㅛ그 門(문)빗장은 부러졌으며
Babylon's warriors have stopped fighting; they remain in their strongholds. Their strength is exhausted; they have become like women. Her dwellings are set on fire; the bars of her gates are broken. The mighty men of Babylon have forborn to fight, they have remained in their holds: their might hath failed; they became as women: they have burned her dwellingplaces; her bars are broken. |

ㅜ步撥軍(보발군)이 달려 만나고 使者(사자)가 달려 만나서 바벨론 王(왕)에게 告(고)하기를 그 城邑(성읍) 四方(사방)이
ㅠ陷落(함락)되었으며
One courier follows another and messenger follows messenger to announce to the king of Babylon that his entire city is captured, One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to shew the king of Babylon that his city is taken at one end, |

모든 으나루는 빼앗겼으며 갈밭이 불탔으며 軍士(군사)들이 두려워하더이다 하리라

● 萬軍(만군)의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하시되 딸 이바벨론은 때가 이른 ㅐ打作(타작)마당과 같은지라 未久(미구)에 秋收(추수) 때가 이르리라 하시도다
This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: "The Daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time it is trampled; the time to harvest her will soon come." For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon is like a threshingfloor, it is time to thresh her: yet a little while, and the time of her harvest shall come. |

바벨론 王(왕) 느부갓네살이 3)ㄱ나를 먹으며 나를 滅(멸)하며 나로 빈 그릇이 되게 하며 ㄴ龍(용)같이 ㄷ나를 삼키며 나의 좋은 飮食(음식)으로 그 배를 채우고 나를 쫓아내었으니
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has devoured us, he has thrown us into confusion, he has made us an empty jar. Like a serpent he has swallowed us and filled his stomach with our delicacies, and then has spewed us out. Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath swallowed me up like a dragon, he hath filled his belly with my delicates, he hath cast me out. |

나와 내 肉體(육체)에 對(대)한 殘虐(잔학)이 바벨론에 돌아가기를 願(원)한다고 시온 居民(거민)이 말할 것이요 내 피 흘린 罪(죄)가 갈대아 居民(거민)에게로 돌아가기를 願(원)한다고 예루살렘이 말하리라
May the violence done to our flesh be upon Babylon," say the inhabitants of Zion. "May our blood be on those who live in Babylonia," says Jerusalem. The violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and my blood upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say. |

그러므로 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 보라 내가 ㄹ네 訟事(송사)를 듣고 너를 爲(위)하여 報酬(보수)하여
ㅁ그 바다를 말리며 ㅂ그 샘을 말리리니
Therefore, this is what the LORD says: "See, I will defend your cause and avenge you; I will dry up her sea and make her springs dry. Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her springs dry. |

바벨론이 ㅅ荒廢(황폐)한 무더기가 되어서 ㅇ豺狼(시랑)의 居處(거처)와 ㅈ놀람과 치솟거리가 되고
居民(거민)이 없으리라
Babylon will be a heap of ruins, a haunt of jackals, an object of horror and scorn, a place where no one lives. And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwellingplace for dragons, an astonishment, and an hissing, without an inhabitant. |

그들이 다 ㅊ獅子(사자)같이 ㅋ소리하며 어린 獅子(사자)같이 부르짖으며
Her people all roar like young lions, they growl like lion cubs. They shall roar together like lions: they shall yell as lions' whelps. |
39 |
ㅌ熱情(열정)이 일어날 때에 내가 宴會(연회)를 베풀고 ㅍ그들로 醉(취)하여 기뻐하다가 永永(영영)히 잠들어 깨지 못하게 하리라 여호와의 말이니라
But while they are aroused, I will set out a feast for them and make them drunk, so that they shout with laughter--then sleep forever and not awake," declares the LORD. In their heat I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the LORD. |

내가 그들을 끌어 내려서 어린 羊(양)과 수양과 수염소가 屠獸場(도수장)으로 가는 것 같게 하리라
I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams and goats. I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with he goats. |

● 슬프다 ㅎ세삭이 陷落(함락)되었도다 ㅏ온 世上(세상)의 稱讚(칭찬) 받는 城(성)이 빼앗겼도다 슬프다 바벨론이 列邦(열방) 中(중)에 ㅑ荒廢(황폐)되었도다
How Sheshach will be captured, the boast of the whole earth seized! What a horror Babylon will be among the nations! How is Sheshach taken! and how is the praise of the whole earth surprised! how is Babylon become an astonishment among the nations! |
42 |
ㅓ바다가 바벨론에 넘침이여 그 많은 波濤(파도)가 그것에 덮였도다
The sea will rise over Babylon; its roaring waves will cover her. The sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof. |
43 |
그 城邑(성읍)들은 荒廢(황폐)하여 ㅕ마른 땅과 沙漠(사막)과 ㅗ居民(거민)이 없는 땅이 되었으니 그리로 지나가는 人子(인자)가
없도다
Her towns will be desolate, a dry and desert land, a land where no one lives, through which no man travels. Her cities are a desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwelleth, neither doth any son of man pass thereby. |

내가 ㅛ벨을 바벨론에서 罰(벌)하고 그 ㅜ삼킨 것을 ㅠ그 입에서 끌어 내리니 으列邦(열방)이 다시는 그에게로 흘러가지 아니하겠고 이바벨론 城壁(성벽)은 무너지리라
I will punish Bel in Babylon and make him spew out what he has swallowed. The nations will no longer stream to him. And the wall of Babylon will fall. And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall. |

● ㅐ나의 百姓(백성)아 너희는 그 中(중)에서 나와 各其(각기) 나 ㄱ여호와의 震怒(진노)에서 스스로 救援(구원)하라
Come out of her, my people! Run for your lives! Run from the fierce anger of the LORD. My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD. |
46 |
너희 마음을 怯弱(겁약)하게 말며 ㄴ이 땅에서 들리는 風說(풍설)을 因(인)하여 두려워 말라 ㄷ風說(풍설)은 이 해에도 있겠고 저 해에도 있으리라 境內(경내)에는 强暴(강포)함이 있어 官員(관원)끼리 서로 치리라
Do not lose heart or be afraid when rumors are heard in the land; one rumor comes this year, another the next, rumors of violence in the land and of ruler against ruler. And lest your heart faint, and ye fear for the rumour that shall be heard in the land; a rumour shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumour, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler. |

그러므로 보라 날이 이르리니 ㄹ내가 바벨론의 彫刻(조각)한 神像(신상)들을 罰(벌)할 것이라 ㅁ그 온 땅이 恥辱(치욕)을 當(당)하겠고 그 殺戮(살륙) 當(당)한
모든 者(자)가 그 가운데 엎드러질 것이며
For the time will surely come when I will punish the idols of Babylon; her whole land will be disgraced and her slain will all lie fallen within her. Therefore, behold, the days come, that I will do judgment upon the graven images of Babylon: and her whole land shall be confounded, and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her. |

ㅂ하늘과 땅과 그 中(중)의 모든
것이 바벨론을 因(인)하여 기뻐 노래하리니 ㅅ이는 破滅(파멸)시키는 者(자)가 北方(북방)에서 그에게 옴이니라 여호와의 말이니라
Then heaven and earth and all that is in them will shout for joy over Babylon, for out of the north destroyers will attack her," declares the LORD. Then the heaven and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for Babylon: for the spoilers shall come unto her from the north, saith the LORD. |

ㅇ바벨론이 이스라엘 사람을 殺戮(살륙)하여 엎드러뜨림 같이 온 4)땅 사람이 바벨론에서 殺戮(살륙)을 當(당)하여 엎드러지리라 하시도다

Babylon must fall because of Israel's slain, just as the slain in all the earth have fallen because of Babylon. As Babylon hath caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the earth. |

● ㅈ칼을 免(면)한 者(자)들이여 서지 말라 行(행)하라 遠方(원방)에서 여호와를 생각하며 예루살렘을 너희 마음에 두라

You who have escaped the sword, leave and do not linger! Remember the LORD in a distant land, and think on Jerusalem." Ye that have escaped the sword, go away, stand not still: remember the LORD afar off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind. |

ㅊ異邦人(이방인)이 여호와의 집 聖所(성소)에 들어가므로 ㅋ우리가 責望(책망)을 들으며 羞恥(수치)를 當(당)하여 부끄러움이 우리 얼굴에 덮였도다
We are disgraced, for we have been insulted and shame covers our faces, because foreigners have entered the holy places of the LORD'S house. We are confounded, because we have heard reproach: shame hath covered our faces: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the LORD'S house. |

그러므로 여호와께서 가라사대 보라 날이 이르리니 내가 그 彫刻(조각)한 神像(신상)을 罰(벌)할 것이라 ㅌ傷(상)함을 입은 者(자)들이 그 땅에서 呻吟(신음)하리라
But days are coming, declares the LORD, "when I will punish her idols, and throughout her land the wounded will groan. Wherefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will do judgment upon her graven images: and through all her land the wounded shall groan. |

假令(가령) 바벨론이 ㅍ하늘까지 솟아 오른다 하자 ㅎ그 城(성)을 높이어 堅固(견고)히 한다 하자 滅亡(멸망)시킬 者(자)가 내게서부터 그들에게 臨(임)하리라
여호와의 말이니라
Even if Babylon reaches the sky and fortifies her lofty stronghold, I will send destroyers against her," declares the LORD. Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from me shall spoilers come unto her, saith the LORD. |

이는 여호와께서 바벨론을 荒廢(황폐)케 하사 그 떠드는 소리를 끊으심이로다 그 5)對敵(대적)이 ㅑ많은 물의 搖動(요동)함같이 擾亂(요란)한 소리를 發(발)하니
The LORD will destroy Babylon; he will silence her noisy din. Waves of enemies will rage like great waters; the roar of their voices will resound. Because the LORD hath spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is uttered: |

곧 滅亡(멸망)시키는 者(자)가 바벨론에 臨(임)함이라 그 勇士(용사)들이 사로 잡히고 그들의 활이 꺽이도다 ㅓ여호와는 報復(보복)의 하나님이시니 반드시 報應(보응)하시리로다
A destroyer will come against Babylon; her warriors will be captured, and their bows will be broken. For the LORD is a God of retribution; he will repay in full. Because the spoiler is come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, every one of their bows is broken: for the LORD God of recompences shall surely requite. |

ㅕ萬軍(만군)의 여호와라 일컫는 王(왕)이 이같이 말씀하시되 내가 그 方伯(방백)들과 博士(박사)들과 ㅗ監督(감독)들과 官長(관장)들과 勇士(용사)들로
ㅛ醉(취)하게 하리니 그들이 永永(영영)히 자고 깨지 못하리라
I will make her officials and wise men drunk, her governors, officers and warriors as well; they will sleep forever and not awake," declares the King, whose name is the LORD Almighty. And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts. |

萬軍(만군)의 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 ㅜ바벨론의 넓은 城壁(성벽)은 穩全(온전)히 무너지겠고 ㅠ그 높은 門(문)들은 불에 탈 것이며
으百姓(백성)들의 受苦(수고)는 헛될 것이요 이民族(민족)들의 受苦(수고)는 불탈 것인즉 그들이 衰敗(쇠패)하리라 하시니라
This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Babylon's thick wall will be leveled and her high gates set on fire; the peoples exhaust themselves for nothing, the nations' labor is only fuel for the flames." Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the people shall labour in vain, and the folk in the fire, and they shall be weary. |

● 유다 王(왕) ㅐ시드기야 四年(사년)에 마세야의 孫子(손자) ㄱ네리야의 아들 스라야가 王(왕)과 함께 바벨론으로 갈 때에 先知者(선지자) 예레미야가 그에게 말씀을
命(명)하니 스라야는 6)侍從長(시종장)이더라
This is the message Jeremiah gave to the staff officer Seraiah son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, when he went to Babylon with Zedekiah king of Judah in the fourth year of his reign. The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. And this Seraiah was a quiet prince. |

ㄴ예레미야가 바벨론에 臨(임)할 모든 災殃(재앙) 곧 ㄷ바벨론에 對(대)하여 記錄(기록)한 이 모든 말씀을 한 冊(책)에 記錄(기록)하고
Jeremiah had written on a scroll about all the disasters that would come upon Babylon--all that had been recorded concerning Babylon. So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all these words that are written against Babylon. |

He said to Seraiah, "When you get to Babylon, see that you read all these words aloud. And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When thou comest to Babylon, and shalt see, and shalt read all these words; |

말하기를 여호와여 主(주)께서 이곳에 對(대)하여 말씀하시기를 이 땅을 滅(멸)하여 ㄹ사람이나 짐승이 거기 居(거)하지 못하게 하고 永永(영영)히 ㅁ荒廢(황폐)케
하리라 하셨나이다 하라
Then say, 'O LORD, you have said you will destroy this place, so that neither man nor animal will live in it; it will be desolate forever.' Then shalt thou say, O LORD, thou hast spoken against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever. |

너는 이 冊(책) 읽기를 다한 後(후)에 ㅂ冊(책)에 돌을 매어 ㅅ유브라데 河水(하수) 속에
던지며
When you finish reading this scroll, tie a stone to it and throw it into the Euphrates. And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of Euphrates: |

말하기를 바벨론이 나의 災殃(재앙) 내림을 因(인)하여 이같이 沈淪(침륜)하고 다시 일어나지 못하리니 ㅇ그들이 衰敗(쇠패)하리라 하라 하니라 예레미야의 말이 이에 마치니라

Then say, 'So will Babylon sink to rise no more because of the disaster I will bring upon her. And her people will fall.'" The words of Jeremiah end here. And thou shalt say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah. |
