요나가 물고기 뱃속에서 그 하나님 여호와께 祈禱(기도)하여
From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the LORD his God. Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly, |

가로되 이내가 받는 苦難(고난)을 因(인)하여 여호와께 불러 아뢰었삽더니 主(주)께서 내게 對答(대답)하셨고 내가 1)ㅐ스올의 뱃속에서
부르짖었삽더니 主(주)께서 ㄱ나의 音聲(음성)을 들으셨나이다
He said: "In my distress I called to the LORD, and he answered me. From the depths of the grave I called for help, and you listened to my cry. And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice. |

ㄴ主(주)께서 나를 깊음 속 바다 가운데 던지셨으므로 큰 물이 나를 둘렀고 ㄷ主(주)의 波濤(파도)와 큰 물결이 다 내 위에 넘쳤나이다
You hurled me into the deep, into the very heart of the seas, and the currents swirled about me; all your waves and breakers swept over me. For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me. |

ㄹ내가 말하기를 내가 主(주)의 目前(목전)에서 쫓겨났을찌라도 ㅁ다시 主(주)의 聖殿(성전)을 바라보겠다 하였나이다
I said, 'I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.' Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple. |

ㅂ물이 나를 둘렀으되 ㅅ靈魂(영혼)까지 하였사오며 깊음이 나를 에웠고 바다 풀이 내 머리를 쌌나이다
The engulfing waters threatened me, the deep surrounded me; seaweed was wrapped around my head. The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head. |

내가 山(산)의 뿌리까지 내려갔사오며 땅이 그 빗장으로 나를 오래도록 막았사오나 나의 하나님 여호와여 主(주)께서 내 生命(생명)을 ㅇ구덩이에서 건지셨나이다
To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in forever. But you brought my life up from the pit, O LORD my God. I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God. |

ㅈ내 靈魂(영혼)이 내 속에서 疲困(피곤)할 때에 내가 여호와를 생각하였삽더니 ㅊ내 祈禱(기도)가 主(주)께 이르렀사오며 主(주)의 聖殿(성전)에 미쳤나이다
When my life was ebbing away, I remembered you, LORD, and my prayer rose to you, to your holy temple. When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple. |

무릇
거짓되고 ㅋ헛된 것을 崇尙(숭상)하는 者(자)는 ㅌ自己(자기)에게 베푸신 恩惠(은혜)를 버렸사오나
Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs. They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy. |

ㅍ나는 感謝(감사)하는 목소리로 主(주)께 祭祀(제사)를 드리며 나의 誓願(서원)을 主(주)께 갚겠나이다 ㅎ救援(구원)은 여호와께로서 말미암나이다 하니라
But I, with a song of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. Salvation comes from the LORD." But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD. |

● 여호와께서 그 물고기에게 命(명)하시매 요나를 陸地(육지)에 吐(토)하니라
And the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land. And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land. |
