1 솔로몬이 예루살렘 모리아 山(산)에 여호와의 殿(전) 建築(건축)하기를 始作(시작)하니 그곳은 前(전)에 여호와께서 그 아비 다윗에게 나타나신 곳이요 여부스 사람 오르난의 打作(타작) 마당에 다윗이 定(정)한 곳이라

Then Solomon began to build the temple of the LORD in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the LORD had appeared to his father David. It was on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite, the place provided by David.

Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the LORD appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

2 솔로몬이 王位(왕위)에 나아간지 四年(사년) 二月(이월) 初(초) 二日(이일)에 建築(건축)하기를 始作(시작)하였더라

He began building on the second day of the second month in the fourth year of his reign.

And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

3 솔로몬이 하나님의 殿(전)을 爲(위)하여 놓은 地臺(지대)는 이러하니 옛적 재는 法(법)대로 長(장)이 六十(육십) 규빗이요 廣(광)이 二十(이십) 규빗이며

The foundation Solomon laid for building the temple of God was sixty cubits long and twenty cubits wide (using the cubit of the old standard).

Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.

4 그 殿(전) 앞 廊室(낭실)長(장)이 殿(전)의 廣(광)과 같이 二十(이십) 규빗이요 高(고)가 一百(일백) 二十(이십) 규빗이니 안에는 精金(정금)으로 입혔으며

The portico at the front of the temple was twenty cubits long across the width of the building and twenty cubits high. He overlaid the inside with pure gold.

And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.

5 그 大殿(대전) 天障(천장)은 잣나무로 만들고 또 精金(정금)으로 입히고 그 위에 棕櫚(종려)나무와 사슬 形像(형상)을 새겼고

He paneled the main hall with pine and covered it with fine gold and decorated it with palm tree and chain designs.

And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.

6 또 寶石(보석)으로 殿(전)을 꾸며 華麗(화려)하게 하였으니 그 金(금)은 바르와임 金(금)이며

He adorned the temple with precious stones. And the gold he used was gold of Parvaim.

And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.

7 또 金(금)으로 殿(전)과 그 들보와 門地方(문지방)과 璧(벽)과 門(문)짝에 입히고 璧(벽)에 그룹들을 아로새겼더라

He overlaid the ceiling beams, doorframes, walls and doors of the temple with gold, and he carved cherubim on the walls.

He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.

8 또 至聖所(지성소)를 지었으니 殿(전) 넓이대로 長(장)이 二十(이십) 규빗이요 廣(광)도 二十(이십) 규빗이라 精金(정금) 六百(육백) 달란트로 입혔으니

He built the Most Holy Place, its length corresponding to the width of the temple--twenty cubits long and twenty cubits wide. He overlaid the inside with six hundred talents of fine gold.

And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.

9 重數(중수)가 五十(오십) 金(금) 세겔이요 다락들도 金(금)으로 입혔더라

The gold nails weighed fifty shekels. He also overlaid the upper parts with gold.

And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.

10 ● 至聖所(지성소) 안에 두 그룹의 形像(형상)을 새겨 만들어 金(금)으로 입혔으니

In the Most Holy Place he made a pair of sculptured cherubim and overlaid them with gold.

And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold.

11 두 그룹의 날개 길이가 모두 二十(이십) 규빗이라 左便(좌편) 그룹의 한 날개는 다섯 규빗이니 殿(전) 璧(벽)에 닿았고 그 한 날개도 다섯 규빗이니 右便(우편) 그룹의 날개에 닿았으며

The total wingspan of the cherubim was twenty cubits. One wing of the first cherub was five cubits long and touched the temple wall, while its other wing, also five cubits long, touched the wing of the other cherub.

And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.

12 右便(우편) 그룹의 한 날개도 다섯 규빗이니 殿(전) 璧(벽)에 닿았고 그 한 날개도 다섯 규빗이니 左便(좌편) 그룹의 날개에 닿았으며

Similarly one wing of the second cherub was five cubits long and touched the other temple wall, and its other wing, also five cubits long, touched the wing of the first cherub.

And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.

13 이 두 그룹의 便(편) 날개가 모두 二十(이십) 규빗이라 그 얼굴을 外所(외소)로 向(향)하고 서 있으며

The wings of these cherubim extended twenty cubits. They stood on their feet, facing the main hall.

The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.

14 靑色(청색) 紫色(자색) 紅色(홍색)실과 고운 베로 門帳(문장)을 짓고 그 위에 그룹의 形像(형상)을 繡(수) 놓았더라

He made the curtain of blue, purple and crimson yarn and fine linen, with cherubim worked into it.

And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubims thereon.

15 ● 殿(전) 앞에 기둥 둘을 만들었으니 高(고)가 三十五(삼십오) 규빗이요 各(각) 기둥 꼭대기의 머리가 다섯 규빗이라

In the front of the temple he made two pillars, which together were thirty-five cubits long, each with a capital on top measuring five cubits.

Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.

16 聖所(성소) 같이 사슬을 만들어 그 기둥 머리에 두르고 石榴(석류) 一百箇(일백개)를 만들어 사슬에 달았으며

He made interwoven chains and put them on top of the pillars. He also made a hundred pomegranates and attached them to the chains.

And he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.

17 그 두 기둥을 外所(외소) 앞에 세웠으니 左便(좌편)에 하나요 右便(우편)에 하나라 右便(우편) 것은 1)야긴이라 稱(칭)하고 左便(좌편) 것은 2)보아스라 稱(칭)하였더라
왕상7:21     1) 저가 세우리라  2) 그에게 능력이 있다

He erected the pillars in the front of the temple, one to the south and one to the north. The one to the south he named Jakin and the one to the north Boaz.

And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
