ㄴ요시야가 예루살렘 여호와 앞에서 逾越節(유월절)을 지켜 ㄷ正月(정월) 十四日(십사일)에 逾越節(유월절) 어린 羊(양)을 잡으니라
Josiah celebrated the Passover to the LORD in Jerusalem, and the Passover lamb was slaughtered on the fourteenth day of the first month. Moreover Josiah kept a passover unto the LORD in Jerusalem: and they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month. |

또 여호와 앞에 區別(구별)되어서 ㅁ온 이스라엘을 가르치는 레위 사람에게 이르되 거룩한 櫃(궤)를 이스라엘 王(왕) 다윗의 아들 솔로몬의 建築(건축)한 殿(전) 가운데 두고 ㅂ다시는 너희 어깨에 메지 말고 마땅히 너희 하나님 여호와와 그 百姓(백성) 이스라엘을 섬길 것이라
He said to the Levites, who instructed all Israel and who had been consecrated to the LORD: "Put the sacred ark in the temple that Solomon son of David king of Israel built. It is not to be carried about on your shoulders. Now serve the LORD your God and his people Israel. And said unto the Levites that taught all Israel, which were holy unto the LORD, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; it shall not be a burden upon your shoulders: serve now the LORD your God, and his people Israel, |

너희는 ㅅ이스라엘 王(왕) 다윗의 글과 ㅇ다윗의 아들 솔로몬의 글을 遵行(준행)하여 ㅈ너희 族屬(족속)대로 班列(반열)을 따라 스스로 豫備(예비)하고
Prepare yourselves by families in your divisions, according to the directions written by David king of Israel and by his son Solomon. And prepare yourselves by the houses of your fathers, after your courses, according to the writing of David king of Israel, and according to the writing of Solomon his son. |

ㅊ너희 兄弟(형제) 모든 百姓(백성)의 族屬(족속)의 次序(차서)대로 또는 레위 族屬(족속)의 次序(차서)대로 ㅋ聖所(성소)에 서서
Stand in the holy place with a group of Levites for each subdivision of the families of your fellow countrymen, the lay people. And stand in the holy place according to the divisions of the families of the fathers of your brethren the people, and after the division of the families of the Levites. |

ㅌ스스로 聖潔(성결)케 하고 逾越節(유월절) 어린 羊(양)을 잡아 너희 兄弟(형제)를 爲(위)하여 豫備(예비)하되 여호와께서 모세로 傳(전)하신 말씀을 좇아 行(행)할찌니라

Slaughter the Passover lambs, consecrate yourselves and prepare the lambs for your fellow countrymen, doing what the LORD commanded through Moses." So kill the passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare your brethren, that they may do according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses. |

Josiah provided for all the lay people who were there a total of thirty thousand sheep and goats for the Passover offerings, and also three thousand cattle--all from the king's own possessions. And Josiah gave to the people, of the flock, lambs and kids, all for the passover offerings, for all that were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and three thousand bullocks: these were of the king's substance. |

His officials also contributed voluntarily to the people and the priests and Levites. Hilkiah, Zechariah and Jehiel, the administrators of God's temple, gave the priests twenty-six hundred Passover offerings and three hundred cattle. And his princes gave willingly unto the people, to the priests, and to the Levites: Hilkiah and Zechariah and Jehiel, rulers of the house of God, gave unto the priests for the passover offerings two thousand and six hundred small cattle, and three hundred oxen. |

또 레위 사람의 頭目(두목)들 곧 고나냐와 그 兄弟(형제) 스마야와 느다넬과 또 하사뱌와 여이엘과 요사밧은 羊(양) 五千(오천)과 수소 五百(오백)을 레위 사람들에게 逾越節(유월절) 祭物(제물)로 주었더라
Also Conaniah along with Shemaiah and Nethanel, his brothers, and Hashabiah, Jeiel and Jozabad, the leaders of the Levites, provided five thousand Passover offerings and five hundred head of cattle for the Levites. Conaniah also, and Shemaiah and Nethaneel, his brethren, and Hashabiah and Jeiel and Jozabad, chief of the Levites, gave unto the Levites for passover offerings five thousand small cattle, and five hundred oxen. |

● 이와 같이 섬길 일이 具備(구비)하매 王(왕)의 命(명)을 좇아 祭司長(제사장)들은 自己(자기) ㅏ處所(처소)에 서고 ㅑ레위 사람들은 그 班列(반열)대로 서고
The service was arranged and the priests stood in their places with the Levites in their divisions as the king had ordered. So the service was prepared, and the priests stood in their place, and the Levites in their courses, according to the king's commandment. |

ㅓ逾越節(유월절) 羊(양)을 잡으니 祭司長(제사장)들은 ㅕ저희 손에서 피를 받아 뿌리고 또 ㅗ레위 사람들은 잡은 짐승의 가죽을 벗기고
The Passover lambs were slaughtered, and the priests sprinkled the blood handed to them, while the Levites skinned the animals. And they killed the passover, and the priests sprinkled the blood from their hands, and the Levites flayed them. |

그 燔祭物(번제물)을 옮겨 族屬(족속)의 次序(차서)대로 모든 百姓(백성)에게 나누어 모세의 冊(책)에 記錄(기록)된 대로 여호와께 드리게 하고 소도 그와 같이 하고
They set aside the burnt offerings to give them to the subdivisions of the families of the people to offer to the LORD, as is written in the Book of Moses. They did the same with the cattle. And they removed the burnt offerings, that they might give according to the divisions of the families of the people, to offer unto the LORD, as it is written in the book of Moses. And so did they with the oxen. |

ㅛ이에 規例(규례)대로 逾越節(유월절) 羊(양)을 불에 굽고 그 나머지 聖物(성물)은 ㅜ솥과 가마와 남비에 삶아 모든 百姓(백성)에게 速(속)히 分配(분배)하고
They roasted the Passover animals over the fire as prescribed, and boiled the holy offerings in pots, caldrons and pans and served them quickly to all the people. And they roasted the passover with fire according to the ordinance: but the other holy offerings sod they in pots, and in caldrons, and in pans, and divided them speedily among all the people. |

그 後(후)에 自己(자기)와 祭司長(제사장)들을 爲(위)하여 準備(준비)하니 이는 아론의 子孫(자손) 祭司長(제사장)들이 燔祭(번제)와 기름을 저녁까지 드리는 故(고)로 레위 사람들이 自己(자기)와 아론의 子孫(자손) 祭司長(제사장)들을 爲(위)하여 準備(준비)함이더라
After this, they made preparations for themselves and for the priests, because the priests, the descendants of Aaron, were sacrificing the burnt offerings and the fat portions until nightfall. So the Levites made preparations for themselves and for the Aaronic priests. And afterward they made ready for themselves, and for the priests: because the priests the sons of Aaron were busied in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until night; therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests the sons of Aaron. |

아삽의 子孫(자손) 노래하는 者(자)들은 다윗과 아삽과 헤만과 ㅠ王(왕)의 先見者(선견자) 여두둔의 으命(명)한 대로 自己(자기) 處所(처소)에 있고 이門(문)지기들은 各(각) 門(문)에 있고 그 職任(직임)에서 떠날 것이 없었으니 이는 그 兄弟(형제) 레위 사람들이 저희를 爲(위)하여 豫備(예비)하였음이더라
The musicians, the descendants of Asaph, were in the places prescribed by David, Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun the king's seer. The gatekeepers at each gate did not need to leave their posts, because their fellow Levites made the preparations for them. And the singers the sons of Asaph were in their place, according to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer; and the porters waited at every gate; they might not depart from their service; for their brethren the Levites prepared for them. |

● 이와 같이 當日(당일)에 여호와를 섬길 일이 다 準備(준비)되매 요시야 王(왕)의 命(명)대로 逾越節(유월절)을 지키며 燔祭(번제)를 여호와의 壇(단)에 드렸으며
So at that time the entire service of the LORD was carried out for the celebration of the Passover and the offering of burnt offerings on the altar of the LORD, as King Josiah had ordered. So all the service of the LORD was prepared the same day, to keep the passover, and to offer burnt offerings upon the altar of the LORD, according to the commandment of king Josiah. |

그 때에 모인 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 逾越節(유월절)을 지키고 連(연)하여 ㅐ無酵節(무교절)을 七日(칠일) 동안 지켰으니

The Israelites who were present celebrated the Passover at that time and observed the Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days. And the children of Israel that were present kept the passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days. |

ㄱ先知者(선지자) 사무엘 이後(후)로 이스라엘 가운데서 逾越節(유월절)을 이같이 지키지 못하였고 이스라엘 列王(열왕)도 요시야가 祭司長(제사장)들과 레위 사람들과 모인 온 유다와 이스라엘 무리와 예루살렘 居民(거민)과 함께 지킨 것처럼은 逾越節(유월절)을 지키지 못하였더라
The Passover had not been observed like this in Israel since the days of the prophet Samuel; and none of the kings of Israel had ever celebrated such a Passover as did Josiah, with the priests, the Levites and all Judah and Israel who were there with the people of Jerusalem. And there was no passover like to that kept in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet; neither did all the kings of Israel keep such a passover as Josiah kept, and the priests, and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. |

요시야의 位(위)에 있은지 十八年(십팔년)에 이 逾越節(유월절)을 지켰더라
This Passover was celebrated in the eighteenth year of Josiah's reign. In the eighteenth year of the reign of Josiah was this passover kept. |

● ㄴ이 모든 일 後(후) 곧 요시야가 殿(전)을 整頓(정돈)하기를 마친 後(후)에 애굽 王(왕) 느고가 유브라데 江(강)가의 ㄷ갈그미스를 치러 올라온故(고)로 요시야가 나가서 防備(방비)하였더니

After all this, when Josiah had set the temple in order, Neco king of Egypt went up to fight at Carchemish on the Euphrates, and Josiah marched out to meet him in battle. After all this, when Josiah had prepared the temple, Necho king of Egypt came up to fight against Carchemish by Euphrates: and Josiah went out against him. |

느고가 요시야에게 使者(사자)를 보내어 가로되 유다 王(왕)이여 내가 그대와 무슨 關係(관계)가 있느뇨 내가 오늘날 그대를 치려는 것이 아니요 나로 더불어 싸우는 族屬(족속)을 치려는 것이라 하나님이 나를 命(명)하사 速(속)히 하라 하셨은즉 하나님이 나와 함께 계시니 그대는 하나님을 거스리지 말라 그대를 滅(멸)하실까 하노라 하나
But Neco sent messengers to him, saying, "What quarrel is there between you and me, O king of Judah? It is not you I am attacking at this time, but the house with which I am at war. God has told me to hurry; so stop opposing God, who is with me, or he will destroy you." But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? I come not against thee this day, but against the house wherewith I have war: for God commanded me to make haste: forbear thee from meddling with God, who is with me, that he destroy thee not. |

요시야가 몸을 돌이켜 떠나기를 싫어하고 ㄹ變裝(변장)하고 싸우고자 하여 하나님의 입에서 나온 느고의 말을 듣지 아니하고 ㅁ므깃도 골짜기에 이르러 싸울 때에
Josiah, however, would not turn away from him, but disguised himself to engage him in battle. He would not listen to what Neco had said at God's command but went to fight him on the plain of Megiddo. Nevertheless Josiah would not turn his face from him, but disguised himself, that he might fight with him, and hearkened not unto the words of Necho from the mouth of God, and came to fight in the valley of Megiddo. |

그 臣僕(신복)이 저를 兵車(병거)에서 내리게 하고 저의 버금 兵車(병거)에 태워 예루살렘에 이른 後(후)에 저가 죽으니 그 列祖(열조)의 墓室(묘실)에 葬事(장사)하니라

So they took him out of his chariot, put him in the other chariot he had and brought him to Jerusalem, where he died. He was buried in the tombs of his fathers, and all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for him. His servants therefore took him out of that chariot, and put him in the second chariot that he had; and they brought him to Jerusalem, and he died, and was buried in one of the sepulchres of his fathers. And all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for Josiah. |

ㅇ예레미야는 저를 爲(위)하여 哀歌(애가)를 지었으며 ㅈ노래하는 男子(남자)와 女子(여자)는 요시야를 슬피 노래하니 이스라엘에 規例(규례)가 되어 오늘날까지 이르렀으며 그 歌詞(가사)는 哀歌(애가) 中(중)에 記錄(기록)되었더라
Jeremiah composed laments for Josiah, and to this day all the men and women singers commemorate Josiah in the laments. These became a tradition in Israel and are written in the Laments. And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah: and all the singing men and the singing women spake of Josiah in their lamentations to this day, and made them an ordinance in Israel: and, behold, they are written in the lamentations. |

The other events of Josiah's reign and his acts of devotion, according to what is written in the Law of the LORD-- Now the rest of the acts of Josiah, and his goodness, according to that which was written in the law of the LORD, |

그 始終(시종) 行蹟(행적)이 이스라엘과 유다 列王記(열왕기)에 記錄(기록)되니라
all the events, from beginning to end, are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. And his deeds, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. |
