Now a man named Micah from the hill country of Ephraim And there was a man of mount Ephraim, whose name was Micah. |

그 어미에게 이르되 어머니께서 銀(은) 一千(일천) 一百(일백)을 잃어버리셨으므로 詛呪(저주)하시고 내 귀에도 말씀하셨더니 보소서 그 銀(은)이 내게 있나이다 내가 그것을 取(취)하였나이다
어미가 가로되 내 아들이 ㅜ여호와께 福(복) 받기를 願(원)하노라 하니라
said to his mother, "The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from you and about which I heard you utter a curse--I have that silver with me; I took it." Then his mother said, "The LORD bless you, my son!" And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou cursedst, and spakest of also in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my son. |

미가가 銀(은) 一千(일천) 一百(일백)을 그 어미에게 도로 주매 어미가 가로되 내가 내 아들을 爲(위)하여 한 神像(신상)을 ㅠ새기며 한 神像(신상)을 으부어
만들 次(차)로 내 손에서 이 銀(은)을 여호와께 거룩히 드리노라 그러므로 내가 이제 이 銀(은)을 네게 도로 돌리리라
When he returned the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, she said, "I solemnly consecrate my silver to the LORD for my son to make a carved image and a cast idol. I will give it back to you." And when he had restored the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, his mother said, I had wholly dedicated the silver unto the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it unto thee. |

미가가 그 銀(은)을 어미에게 도로 주었으므로 어미가 그 이銀(은) 二百(이백)을 取(취)하여 銀匠色(은장색)에게 주어 한 神像(신상)을 새기며 한 神像(신상)을 부어 만들었더니 그 神像(신상)이 미가의 집에 있더라

So he returned the silver to his mother, and she took two hundred shekels of silver and gave them to a silversmith, who made them into the image and the idol. And they were put in Micah's house. Yet he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a graven image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah. |

이 사람 미가에게 神堂(신당)이 있으므로 또 ㅐ에봇과 ㄱ드라빔을
만들고 ㄴ한 아들을 세워 祭司長(제사장)을 삼았더라
Now this man Micah had a shrine, and he made an ephod and some idols and installed one of his sons as his priest. And the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest. |

ㄷ그 때에는 이스라엘에 王(왕)이 없으므로 ㄹ사람마다 自己(자기) 所見(소견)에 옳은 대로 行(행)하였더라
In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as he saw fit. In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes. |

● 유다 家族(가족)에 屬(속)한 ㅁ유다 베들레헴에 한 少年(소년)이 있으니 그는 레위人(인)으로서 거기 寓居(우거)하였더라
A young Levite from Bethlehem in Judah, who had been living within the clan of Judah, And there was a young man out of Bethlehemjudah of the family of Judah, who was a Levite, and he sojourned there. |

이 사람이 居(거)할 곳을 찾고자 하여 그 城邑(성읍) 유다 베들레헴을 떠나서 行(행)하다가 ㅂ에브라임 山地(산지)로 가서 미가의 집에 이르매

left that town in search of some other place to stay. On his way he came to Micah's house in the hill country of Ephraim. And the man departed out of the city from Bethlehemjudah to sojourn where he could find a place: and he came to mount Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed. |

미가가 그에게 묻되 너는 어디서부터 오느뇨 그가 이르되 나는 유다 베들레헴의 레위人(인)으로서 居(거)할 곳을 찾으러 가노라
Micah asked him, "Where are you from?" "I'm a Levite from Bethlehem in Judah," he said, "and I'm looking for a place to stay." And Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him, I am a Levite of Bethlehemjudah, and I go to sojourn where I may find a place. |

미가가 그에게 이르되 네가 나와 함께 居(거)하여 나를 爲(위)하여 ㅅ아비와 祭司長(제사장)이 되라 내가 해마다 銀(은) 열과 衣服(의복) 한 벌과 植物(식물)을 주리라 하므로 레위人(인)이 들어갔더니

Then Micah said to him, "Live with me and be my father and priest, and I'll give you ten shekels of silver a year, your clothes and your food." And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten shekels of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levite went in. |

레위人(인)이 ㅇ그 사람과 함께 居(거)하기를 滿足(만족)히 여겼으니 이는 그 少年(소년)이 미가의 아들 中(중) 하나같이 됨이라

So the Levite agreed to live with him, and the young man was to him like one of his sons. And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as one of his sons. |

미가가 레위人(인)을 거룩히 ㅈ區別(구별)하매 少年(소년)이 미가의 ㅊ祭司長(제사장)이 되어 그 집에 居(거)한지라
Then Micah installed the Levite, and the young man became his priest and lived in his house. And Micah consecrated the Levite; and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah. |
13 |
이에 미가가 가로되 레위人(인)이 내 祭司長(제사장)이 되었으니 이제 여호와께서 내게 福(복) 주실 줄을 아노라 하니라
And Micah said, "Now I know that the LORD will be good to me, since this Levite has become my priest." Then said Micah, Now know I that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to my priest. |
