이스라엘 子孫(자손)의 모든 族長(족장)과 千夫長(천부장)과 百夫長(백부장)과 王(왕)을 섬기는 有司(유사)들이 그 人數(인수)대로 班次(반차)가 나누이니 各(각) 班列(반열)이 二萬(이만) 四千名(사천명)씩이라 一年(일년)동안 달마다 替番(체번)하여 들어가며 나왔으니
This is the list of the Israelites--heads of families, commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds, and their officers, who served the king in all that concerned the army divisions that were on duty month by month throughout the year. Each division consisted of 24,000 men.

In charge of the division for the second month was Dodai the Ahohite; Mikloth was the leader of his division. There were 24,000 men in his division.

스루야의 아들 요압이 調査(조사)하기를 始作(시작)하고 ㅅ끝내지 못하여서 ㅇ그 일로 因(인)하여 震怒(진노)가 이스라엘에게 臨(임)한지라 그 數爻(수효)를 다윗 王(왕)의歷代志略(역대지략)에 記錄(기록)하지 아니하였더라
Joab son of Zeruiah began to count the men but did not finish. Wrath came on Israel on account of this numbering, and the number was not entered in the book of the annals of King David.

Azmaveth son of Adiel was in charge of the royal storehouses. Jonathan son of Uzziah was in charge of the storehouses in the outlying districts, in the towns, the villages and the watchtowers.

Shimei the Ramathite was in charge of the vineyards. Zabdi the Shiphmite was in charge of the produce of the vineyards for the wine vats.

Jonathan, David's uncle, was a counselor, a man of insight and a scribe. Jehiel son of Hacmoni took care of the king's sons.

Ahithophel was the king's counselor. Hushai the Arkite was the king's friend.

ㅏ브나야의 아들 여호야다와 ㅑ아비아달은 아히도벨의 다음이 되었고 ㅓ요압은 王(왕)의 軍隊(군대) 長官(장관)이 되었더라
Ahithophel was succeeded by Jehoiada son of Benaiah and by Abiathar. Joab was the commander of the royal army.
