3 ● 유다의 ㄷ아들은 에르와 오난과 셀라니 이 세 사람은 가나안 사람 수아의 딸이 유다로 말미암아 낳은 者(자)요 ㄹ유다의 맏아들 에르는 여호와 보시기에 惡(악)하였으므로 여호와께서 죽이셨고

The sons of Judah: Er, Onan and Shelah. These three were born to him by a Canaanite woman, the daughter of Shua. Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the LORD'S sight; so the LORD put him to death.
4 ㅁ유다의 며느리 다말이 유다로 말미암아 베레스와 세라를 낳았으니 유다의 아들이 모두 다섯이더라

Ram was the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab the father of Nahshon, the leader of the people of Judah.

Nahshon was the father of Salmon, Salmon the father of Boaz,
12 보아스는 오벳을 낳았고, 오벳은 이새를 낳았고
Boaz the father of Obed and Obed the father of Jesse.

Jesse was the father of Eliab his firstborn; the second son was Abinadab, the third Shimea,

the fourth Nethanel, the fifth Raddai,

the sixth Ozem and the seventh David.
16 저희의 자매는 스루야와 아비가일이라 ㅓ스루야의 아들은 아비새와 요압과 아사헬 三兄弟(삼형제)요

Their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. Zeruiah's three sons were Abishai, Joab and Asahel.
17 ㅕ아비가일은 아마사를 낳았으니 아마사의 아비는 이스마엘 사람 예델이었더라

18 ● 헤스론의 아들 ㅗ갈렙이 그 아내 아수바와 여리옷에게서 아들을 낳았으니 그 낳은 아들은 예셀과 소밥과 아르돈이며

19 아수바가 죽은 後(후)에 갈렙이 또 ㅛ에브랏에게 장가 들었더니 에브랏이 그로 말미암아 ㅜ훌을 낳았고,

22 스굽은 야일을 낳았고 야일은 길르앗 땅에서 스물 세 城邑(성읍)을 가졌더니
Segub was the father of Jair, who controlled twenty-three towns in Gilead.
23 이그술과 아람이 야일의 城邑(성읍)들과 그낫과 그 城(성)들 모두 六十(육십)을 그들에게서 빼앗았으며 저희는 다 길르앗의 아비 마길의 子孫(자손)이었더라

(But Geshur and Aram captured Havvoth Jair, as well as Kenath with its surrounding settlements--sixty towns.) All these were descendants of Makir the father of Gilead.
24 헤스론이 ㅐ갈렙 에브라다에서 죽은 후에 그 아내 아비야가 그로 말미암아 ㄱ아스훌을 낳았으니 아스훌은 드고아의 아비더라

After Hezron died in Caleb Ephrathah, Abijah the wife of Hezron bore him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.
25 ● 헤스론의 맏아들 ㄴ여라므엘의 아들은 맏아들 람과 그 다음 브나와 오렌과 오셈과 아히야며

The sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron: Ram his firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem and Ahijah.
26 여라므엘이 다른 아내가 있었으니 이름은 아다라라 저는 오남의 어미더라
Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
27 여라므엘의 맏아들 람의 아들은 마아스와 야민과 에겔이요
The sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel: Maaz, Jamin and Eker.
28 오남의 아들들은 삼매와 야다요 삼매의 아들은 나답과 아비술이며
The sons of Onam: Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
29 아비술의 아내의 이름은 아비하일이라 저가 그로 말미암아 아반과 몰릿을 낳았으며
Abishur's wife was named Abihail, who bore him Ahban and Molid.
30 나답의 아들은 셀렛과 압바임이라 셀렛은 아들이 없이 죽었고
The sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim. Seled died without children.
31 압바임의 아들은 이시요 이시의 아들은 세산이요 ㄷ세산의 아들은 알래요

The son of Appaim: Ishi, who was the father of Sheshan. Sheshan was the father of Ahlai.
32 삼매의 아우 야다의 아들은 예델과 요나단이라 예델은 아들이 없이 죽었고
The sons of Jada, Shammai's brother: Jether and Jonathan. Jether died without children.
33 요나단의 아들은 벨렛과 사사라 여라므엘의 子孫(자손)은 이러하며
The sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the descendants of Jerahmeel.
34 세산은 아들이 없고 딸 뿐이라 그에게 야르하라 하는 애굽 종이 있는 故(고)로
Sheshan had no sons--only daughters. He had an Egyptian servant named Jarha.
35 딸을 그 종 야르하에게 주어 아내를 삼게 하였더니 저가 그로 말미암아 앗대를 낳았고,
Sheshan gave his daughter in marriage to his servant Jarha, and she bore him Attai.
36 앗대는 나단을 낳았고, 나단은 ㄹ사밧을 낳았고,

The sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and his son Mareshah, who was the father of Hebron.
43 헤브론의 아들은 고라와 답부아와 레겜과 세마라
The sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem and Shema.
44 세마는 라함을 낳았으니 라함은 요르그암의 아비며 레겜은 삼매를 낳았고,
Shema was the father of Raham, and Raham the father of Jorkeam. Rekem was the father of Shammai.
45 삼매의 아들은 마온이라 마온은 벳술의 아비며
The son of Shammai was Maon, and Maon was the father of Beth Zur.
46 갈렙의 妾(첩) 에바는 하란과 모사와 가세스를 낳았고, 하란은 가세스를 낳았으며
Caleb's concubine Ephah was the mother of Haran, Moza and Gazez. Haran was the father of Gazez.
47 야대의 아들은 레겜과 요단과 게산과 벨렛과 에바와 사압이며
The sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah and Shaaph.
48 갈렙의 妾(첩) 마아가는 세벨과 디르하나를 낳았고,
Caleb's concubine Maacah was the mother of Sheber and Tirhanah.
49 또 맛만나의 아비 사압을 낳았고 또 막베나와 기브아의 아비 스와를 낳았으며 ㅈ갈렙의 딸은 악사더라

She also gave birth to Shaaph the father of Madmannah and to Sheva the father of Macbenah and Gibea. Caleb's daughter was Acsah.

53 기럇여아림 族屬(족속)들은 이델 族屬(족속)과 붓 族屬(족속)과 수맛 族屬(족속)과 미스라 族屬(족속)이라 이로 말미암아 ㅍ소라와 에스다올 두 族屬(족속)이 나왔으며

and the clans of Kiriath Jearim: the Ithrites, Puthites, Shumathites and Mishraites. From these descended the Zorathites and Eshtaolites.
54 살마의 子孫(자손)들은 베들레헴과 느도바 族屬(족속)과 아다롯벳요압과 마하낫 族屬(족속)의 折半(절반)과 소라 族屬(족속)과
The descendants of Salma: Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth Beth Joab, half the Manahathites, the Zorites,
55 야베스에 居(거)한 書記官(서기관) 族屬(족속) 곧 디랏 族屬(족속)과 시므앗 族屬(족속)과 수갓 族屬(족속)이니 이는 다 ㅎ레갑의 집 祖上(조상) 함맛에게서 나온 ㅏ겐 族屬(족속)이더라

and the clans of scribes who lived at Jabez: the Tirathites, Shimeathites and Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Recab.
