In the course of time, David defeated the Philistines and subdued them, and he took Metheg Ammah from the control of the Philistines. And after this it came to pass, that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them: and David took Methegammah out of the hand of the Philistines. |

● ㅏ다윗이 또 모압을 쳐서 저희로 땅에 엎드리게 하고 줄로 재어 그 두 줄 길이의 사람은 죽이고 한 줄 길이의 사람은 살리니 모압 사람이 ㅑ다윗의
종이 되어 ㅓ朝貢(조공)을 바치니라
David also defeated the Moabites. He made them lie down on the ground and measured them off with a length of cord. Every two lengths of them were put to death, and the third length was allowed to live. So the Moabites became subject to David and brought tribute. And he smote Moab, and measured them with a line, casting them down to the ground; even with two lines measured he to put to death, and with one full line to keep alive. And so the Moabites became David's servants, and brought gifts. |

● 르홉의 아들 ㅕ소바 王(왕) ㅗ하닷에셀이 自己(자기) 權勢(권세)를 恢復(회복)하려고 ㅛ유브라데江(강)으로 갈 때에 다윗이 저를 쳐서
Moreover, David fought Hadadezer son of Rehob, king of Zobah, when he went to restore his control along the Euphrates River. David smote also Hadadezer, the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to recover his border at the river Euphrates. |

ㅜ그 馬兵(마병) 一千(일천) 七百(칠백)과 步兵(보병) 二萬(이만)을 사로잡고 兵車(병거) 一百乘(일백승)의 말만 남기고 그 外(외)의 兵車(병거)의 말은 다
ㅠ발의 힘줄을 끊었더니
David captured a thousand of his chariots, seven thousand charioteers and twenty thousand foot soldiers. He hamstrung all but a hundred of the chariot horses. And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: and David houghed all the chariot horses, but reserved of them for an hundred chariots. |

으다메섹 아람 사람들이 소바 王(왕) 하닷에셀을 도우러 온지라 다윗이 아람 사람 二萬(이만) 二千(이천)을 죽이고
When the Arameans of Damascus came to help Hadadezer king of Zobah, David struck down twenty-two thousand of them. And when the Syrians of Damascus came to succour Hadadezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men. |

다메섹 아람에 守備隊(수비대)를 두매 아람 사람이 이다윗의 종이 되어 朝貢(조공)을 바치니라 ㅐ다윗이 어디를 가든지 여호와께서 이기게 하시니라
He put garrisons in the Aramean kingdom of Damascus, and the Arameans became subject to him and brought tribute. The LORD gave David victory wherever he went. Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought gifts. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went. |

다윗이 하닷에셀의 臣僕(신복)들의 가진 ㄱ金防牌(금방패)를 빼앗아 예루살렘으로 가져오고
David took the gold shields that belonged to the officers of Hadadezer and brought them to Jerusalem. And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadadezer, and brought them to Jerusalem. |

또 하닷에셀의 고을 베다와 베로대에서 매우 많은 놋을 빼앗으니라
From Tebah and Berothai, towns that belonged to Hadadezer, King David took a great quantity of bronze. And from Betah, and from Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, king David took exceeding much brass. |

● ㄴ하맛 王(왕) 도이가 다윗이 하닷에셀의 온 軍隊(군대)를 쳐서 破(파)하였다 함을 듣고
When Tou king of Hamath heard that David had defeated the entire army of Hadadezer, When Toi king of Hamath heard that David had smitten all the host of Hadadezer, |

그 아들 요람을 보내어 다윗 王(왕)에게 問安(문안)하고 祝福(축복)하게 하니 이는 하닷에셀이 도이로 더불어 戰爭(전쟁)이 있던 터에 다윗이 하닷에셀을 쳐서 破(파)함이라 요람이 銀(은) 그릇과 金(금)
그릇과 놋 그릇을 가지고 온지라
he sent his son Joram to King David to greet him and congratulate him on his victory in battle over Hadadezer, who had been at war with Tou. Joram brought with him articles of silver and gold and bronze. Then Toi sent Joram his son unto king David, to salute him, and to bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer, and smitten him: for Hadadezer had wars with Toi. And Joram brought with him vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and vessels of brass: |

다윗 王(왕)이 ㄷ그것도 여호와께 드리되 저가 征服(정복)한 모든 나라에서 얻은 銀(은), 金(금)
King David dedicated these articles to the LORD, as he had done with the silver and gold from all the nations he had subdued: Which also king David did dedicate unto the LORD, with the silver and gold that he had dedicated of all nations which he subdued; |

곧 아람과 ㄹ모압과 ㅁ암몬 子孫(자손)과 ㅂ블레셋 사람과 ㅅ아말렉에게서 얻은 것들과 소바 王(왕) 르홉의 아들 하닷에셀에게서
擄略(노략)한 것과 같이 드리니라
Edom and Moab, the Ammonites and the Philistines, and Amalek. He also dedicated the plunder taken from Hadadezer son of Rehob, king of Zobah. Of Syria, and of Moab, and of the children of Ammon, and of the Philistines, and of Amalek, and of the spoil of Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah. |

● 다윗이 ㅇ鹽谷(염곡)에서 2)에돔 사람 一萬(일만) 八千(팔천)을 쳐 죽이고 돌아와서 名譽(명예)를 얻으니라
And David became famous after he returned from striking down eighteen thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt. And David gat him a name when he returned from smiting of the Syrians in the valley of salt, being eighteen thousand men. |

다윗이 에돔에 守備隊(수비대)를 두되 온 에돔에 守備隊(수비대)를 두니 ㅈ에돔 사람이 다 다윗의 종이 되니라 다윗이 어디를 가든지 여호와께서 이기게 하셨더라
He put garrisons throughout Edom, and all the Edomites became subject to David. The LORD gave David victory wherever he went. And he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom put he garrisons, and all they of Edom became David's servants. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went. |

● 다윗이 온 이스라엘을 다스려 모든 百姓(백성)에게 公(공)과 義(의)를 行(행)할새
David reigned over all Israel, doing what was just and right for all his people. And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed judgment and justice unto all his people. |

ㅊ스루야의 아들 요압은 軍隊(군대) 長官(장관)이 되고 아힐룻의 아들 ㅋ여호사밧은 史官(사관)이
되고
Joab son of Zeruiah was over the army; Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud was recorder; And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder; |

아히둡의 아들 ㅌ사독과 아비아달의 아들 아히멜렉은 祭司長(제사장)이 되고 ㅍ스라야는 書記官(서기관)이 되고
Zadok son of Ahitub and Ahimelech son of Abiathar were priests; Seraiah was secretary; And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, were the priests; and Seraiah was the scribe; |

여호야다의 아들 ㅎ브나야는 ㅏ그렛 사람과 블렛 사람을 管轄(관할)하고 다윗의 아들들은 ㅑ大臣(대신)이 되니라
Benaiah son of Jehoiada was over the Kerethites and Pelethites; and David's sons were royal advisers. And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over both the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David's sons were chief rulers. |
