1 나는 사론의 水仙花(수선화)요 골짜기의 百合花(백합화)로구나
I am a rose of Sharon, a lily of the valleys.
2 女子(여자)들 中(중)에 내 사랑은 가시나무 가운데 百合花(백합화) 같구나
Like a lily among thorns is my darling among the maidens.
3 ● 男子(남자)들 中(중)에 나의 사랑하는 者(자)는 수풀 가운데 사과나무 같구나 내가 그 그늘에 앉아서 甚(심)히 기뻐하였고 그 實果(실과)는 내 입에 달았구나
Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest is my lover among the young men. I delight to sit in his shade, and his fruit is sweet to my taste.
4 그가 나를 引導(인도)하여 잔치집에 들어갔으니 그 사랑이 내 위에 旗(기)로구나
He has taken me to the banquet hall, and his banner over me is love.
5 너희는 乾葡萄(건포도)로 내 힘을 돕고 사과로 나를 시원케 하라 내가 사랑하므로 病(병)이 났음이니라
Strengthen me with raisins, refresh me with apples, for I am faint with love.
6 그가 왼손으로 내 머리에 베게하고 오른손으로 나를 안는구나
His left arm is under my head, and his right arm embraces me.
7 예루살렘 女子(여자)들아 내가 노루와 들사슴으로 너희에게 付託(부탁)한다 내 사랑이 願(원)하기 前(전)에는 흔들지 말고 깨우지 말찌니라
Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you by the gazelles and by the does of the field: Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires.
8 ● 나의 사랑하는 者(자)의 목소리로구나 보라 그가 山(산)에서 달리고 작은 山(산)을 빨리 넘어 오는구나
Listen! My lover! Look! Here he comes, leaping across the mountains, bounding over the hills.
9 나의 사랑하는 者(자)는 노루와도 같고 어린 사슴과도 같아서 우리 璧(벽) 뒤에 서서 窓(창)으로 들여다 보며 窓(창)살 틈으로 엿보는구나
My lover is like a gazelle or a young stag. Look! There he stands behind our wall, gazing through the windows, peering through the lattice.
10 ● 나의 사랑하는 者(자)가 내게 말하여 이르기를 나의 사랑, 나의 어여쁜 者(자)야 일어나서 함께 가자
My lover spoke and said to me, "Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, and come with me.
11 겨울도 지나고 비도 그쳤고
See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone.
12 地面(지면)에는 꽃이 피고 새의 노래할 때가 이르렀는데 斑鳩(반구)의 소리가 우리 땅에 들리는구나
Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land.
13 無花果(무화과)나무에는 푸른 열매가 익었고 葡萄(포도)나무는 꽃이 피어 香氣(향기)를 吐(토)하는구나 나의 사랑, 나의 어여쁜 者(자)야, 일어나서 함께 가자
The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance. Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me."
14 바위 틈 낭떠러지 隱密(은밀)한 속에 있는 나의 비둘기야, 나로 네 얼굴을 보게 하라 네 소리를 듣게 하라 네 소리는 부드럽고 네 얼굴은 아름답구나
My dove in the clefts of the rock, in the hiding places on the mountainside, show me your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.
15 ● 우리를 爲(위)하여 여우 곧 葡萄園(포도원)을 허는 작은 여우를 잡으라 우리의 葡萄園(포도원)에 꽃이 피었음이니라
Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom.
16 나의 사랑하는 者(자)는 내게 屬(속)하였고, 나는 그에게 屬(속)하였구나 그가 百合花(백합화) 가운데서 羊(양)떼를 먹이는구나
My lover is mine and I am his; he browses among the lilies.
17 나의 사랑하는 者(자)야 날이 기울고 그림자가 갈 때에 돌아와서 베데르山(산)에서의 노루와 어린 사슴 같아여라
Until the day breaks and the shadows flee, turn, my lover, and be like a gazelle or like a young stag on the rugged hills.
