Now about spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant. Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. |

You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. |

Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit. Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. |

There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. |

The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. |

For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free--and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. |

Now the body is not made up of one part but of many. For the body is not one member, but many. |

The eye cannot say to the hand, "I don't need you!" And the head cannot say to the feet, "I don't need you!" And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. |

And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. |

while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it, For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: |
