이슬프다 어찌 그리 金(금)이 빛을 잃고 精金(정금)이 變(변)하였으며 聖所(성소)의 돌이 各(각) ㅐ거리 머리에 쏟아졌는고
How the gold has lost its luster, the fine gold become dull! The sacred gems are scattered at the head of every street. How is the gold become dim! how is the most fine gold changed! the stones of the sanctuary are poured out in the top of every street. |

시온의 아들들이 보배로와 ㄱ精金(정금)에 比(비)할러니 어찌 그리 ㄴ土器匠(토기장)이의 만든 질항아리 같이 여김이 되었는고
How the precious sons of Zion, once worth their weight in gold, are now considered as pots of clay, the work of a potter's hands! The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, how are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter! |

들개는 오히려 젖을 내어 새끼를 먹이나 處女(처녀) 내 百姓(백성)은 殘忍(잔인)하여 曠野(광야)의 타조 같도다
Even jackals offer their breasts to nurse their young, but my people have become heartless like ostriches in the desert. Even the sea monsters draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness. |

젖먹이가 ㄷ목말라서 혀가 입천장에 붙음이여 ㄹ어린 아이가 떡을 求(구)하나 떼어 줄 사람이 없도다
Because of thirst the infant's tongue sticks to the roof of its mouth; the children beg for bread, but no one gives it to them. The tongue of the sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for thirst: the young children ask bread, and no man breaketh it unto them. |

珍羞(진수)를 먹던 者(자)가 거리에 외로움이여 ㅁ前(전)에는 붉은 옷을 입고 길리운 者(자)가 이제는 거름더미를 안았도다

Those who once ate delicacies are destitute in the streets. Those nurtured in purple now lie on ash heaps. They that did feed delicately are desolate in the streets: they that were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills. |

前(전)에 ㅂ소돔이 사람의 손을 대지 않고 頃刻間(경각간)에 무너지더니 ㅅ이제 處女(처녀) 내 百姓(백성)의 罪(죄)가 소돔의 罪惡(죄악)보다
重(중)하도다
The punishment of my people is greater than that of Sodom, which was overthrown in a moment without a hand turned to help her. For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, that was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed on her. |

前(전)에는 ㅇ尊貴(존귀)한 者(자)의 몸이 눈보다 깨끗하고 젖보다 희며 珊瑚(산호)보다 붉어 그 潤澤(윤택)함이 磨光(마광)한 靑玉(청옥) 같더니
Their princes were brighter than snow and whiter than milk, their bodies more ruddy than rubies, their appearance like sapphires. Her Nazarites were purer than snow, they were whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire: |

이제는 ㅈ그 얼굴이 숯보다 검고 그 가죽이 뼈에 붙어 막대기 같이 말랐으니 거리에서 알 사람이 없도다
But now they are blacker than soot; they are not recognized in the streets. Their skin has shriveled on their bones; it has become as dry as a stick. Their visage is blacker than a coal; they are not known in the streets: their skin cleaveth to their bones; it is withered, it is become like a stick. |

칼에 죽은 者(자)가 주려 죽은 者(자)보다 나음은 土地(토지) 所産(소산)이 끊어지므로 이들이 찔림 같이 漸漸(점점) 衰弱(쇠약)하여 감이로다
Those killed by the sword are better off than those who die of famine; racked with hunger, they waste away for lack of food from the field. They that be slain with the sword are better than they that be slain with hunger: for these pine away, stricken through for want of the fruits of the field. |

ㅊ處女(처녀) 내 百姓(백성)의 滅亡(멸망)할 때에 ㅋ慈悲(자비)한 婦女(부녀)가 ㅌ손으로 自己(자기) ㅍ子女(자녀)를 삶아 植物(식물)을 삼았도다
With their own hands compassionate women have cooked their own children, who became their food when my people were destroyed. The hands of the pitiful women have sodden their own children: they were their meat in the destruction of the daughter of my people. |

● ㅎ여호와께서 忿(분)을 發(발)하시며 猛烈(맹렬)한 怒(노)를 쏟으심이여 ㅏ시온에 불을 피우사 그 址垈(지대)를 사르셨도다
The LORD has given full vent to his wrath; he has poured out his fierce anger. He kindled a fire in Zion that consumed her foundations. The LORD hath accomplished his fury; he hath poured out his fierce anger, and hath kindled a fire in Zion, and it hath devoured the foundations thereof. |
12 |
對敵(대적)과 怨讐(원수)가 예루살렘 城門(성문)으로 들어갈 줄은 ㅑ世上(세상) 列王(열왕)과 天下(천하) 모든 百姓(백성)이 믿지 못하였었도다
The kings of the earth did not believe, nor did any of the world's people, that enemies and foes could enter the gates of Jerusalem. The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should have entered into the gates of Jerusalem. |

그 ㅓ先知者(선지자)들의 罪(죄)와 祭司長(제사장)들의 罪惡(죄악)을 因(인)함이니 저희가 城邑(성읍) 中(중)에서 義人(의인)의 피를 흘렀도다
But it happened because of the sins of her prophets and the iniquities of her priests, who shed within her the blood of the righteous. For the sins of her prophets, and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her, |

ㅕ저희가 거리에서 소경같이 彷徨(방황)함이여 그 옷이 피에 더러웠으므로 ㅗ사람이 만질수 없도다
Now they grope through the streets like men who are blind. They are so defiled with blood that no one dares to touch their garments. They have wandered as blind men in the streets, they have polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not touch their garments. |
15 |
사람이 저희에게 외쳐 이르기를 ㅛ不淨(부정)하다 가라, 가라, 가라, 만지지 말라 하였음이여 저희가 逃亡(도망)하여 彷徨(방황)할 때에
異邦人(이방인)이 이르기를 저희가 다시는 여기 居(거)하지 못하리라 하였도다

Go away! You are unclean! men cry to them. "Away! Away! Don't touch us!" When they flee and wander about, people among the nations say, "They can stay here no longer." They cried unto them, Depart ye; it is unclean; depart, depart, touch not: when they fled away and wandered, they said among the heathen, They shall no more sojourn there. |

ㅜ여호와께서 怒(노)하여 흩으시고 다시 眷顧(권고)치 아니하시리니 ㅠ저희가 祭司長(제사장)들을 높이지 아니하였으며
으長老(장로)들을 待接(대접)지 아니하였음이로다
The LORD himself has scattered them; he no longer watches over them. The priests are shown no honor, the elders no favor. The anger of the LORD hath divided them; he will no more regard them: they respected not the persons of the priests, they favoured not the elders. |

● 이우리가 헛되이 도움을 바라므로 우리 눈이 傷(상)함이여 ㅐ우리를 救援(구원)치 못할 나라를 바라보고 바라보았도다
Moreover, our eyes failed, looking in vain for help; from our towers we watched for a nation that could not save us. As for us, our eyes as yet failed for our vain help: in our watching we have watched for a nation that could not save us. |
18 |
ㄱ저희가 우리 자취를 엿보니 우리가 거리에 行(행)할 수 없음이여 우리의 끝이 가깝고 우리의 날이 다하였고 ㄴ우리의 마지막이 이르렀도다
Men stalked us at every step, so we could not walk in our streets. Our end was near, our days were numbered, for our end had come. They hunt our steps, that we cannot go in our streets: our end is near, our days are fulfilled; for our end is come. |
19 |
우리를 쫓는 者(자)가 ㄷ空中(공중)의 독수리보다 빠름이여 山(산)꼭대기에서도 쫓고 曠野(광야)에도 埋伏(매복)하였도다
Our pursuers were swifter than eagles in the sky; they chased us over the mountains and lay in wait for us in the desert. Our persecutors are swifter than the eagles of the heaven: they pursued us upon the mountains, they laid wait for us in the wilderness. |

ㄹ우리의 콧김 ㅁ곧 여호와의 기름 부으신 者(자)가 ㅂ저희 陷穽(함정)에 빠졌음이여 우리가 저를 가리키며 前(전)에 이르기를 우리가 저의
ㅅ그늘 아래서 列國(열국) 中(중)에 살겠다 하던 者(자)로다
The LORD'S anointed, our very life breath, was caught in their traps. We thought that under his shadow we would live among the nations. The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of the LORD, was taken in their pits, of whom we said, Under his shadow we shall live among the heathen. |

ㅇ우스 땅에 居(거)하는 處女(처녀) 에돔아 ㅈ즐거워하며 기뻐하려무나 ㅊ盞(잔)이 네게도 이를지니 네가 醉(취)하여
벌거벗으리라
Rejoice and be glad, O Daughter of Edom, you who live in the land of Uz. But to you also the cup will be passed; you will be drunk and stripped naked. Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, that dwellest in the land of Uz; the cup also shall pass through unto thee: thou shalt be drunken, and shalt make thyself naked. |

處女(처녀) 시온아 ㅋ네 罪惡(죄악)의 刑罰(형벌)이 다하였으니 主(주)께서 다시는 너로 사로잡혀 가지 않게 하시리로다 處女(처녀) 에돔아 ㅌ主(주)께서 네
罪惡(죄악)을 罰(벌)하시며 네 허물을 드러내시리로다
O Daughter of Zion, your punishment will end; he will not prolong your exile. But, O Daughter of Edom, he will punish your sin and expose your wickedness. The punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, O daughter of Zion; he will no more carry thee away into captivity: he will visit thine iniquity, O daughter of Edom; he will discover thy sins. |
