슬프다 主(주)께서 어찌 그리 ㅌ震怒(진노)하사 處女(처녀) 시온을 구름으로 덮으셨는고 ㅍ이스라엘의 아름다운 것을 하늘에서 땅에 던지셨음이여 震怒(진노)하신 날에 ㅎ그 발등상을 記憶(기억)지 아니하셨도다
How the Lord has covered the Daughter of Zion with the cloud of his anger! He has hurled down the splendor of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger. How hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger! |

主(주)께서 ㅏ야곱의 모든 居處(거처)를 삼키시고 ㅑ矜恤(긍휼)히 여기지 아니하셨음이여 怒(노)하사 處女(처녀) 유다의 ㅓ堅固(견고)한 城(성)을 헐어
ㅕ땅에 엎으시고 나라와 ㅗ方伯(방백)으로 辱(욕)되게 하셨도다
Without pity the Lord has swallowed up all the dwellings of Jacob; in his wrath he has torn down the strongholds of the Daughter of Judah. He has brought her kingdom and its princes down to the ground in dishonor. The Lord hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: he hath thrown down in his wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he hath brought them down to the ground: he hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof. |

ㅛ猛烈(맹렬)한 震怒(진노)로 이스라엘 모든 ㅜ뿔을 자르셨음이여 怨讐(원수) 앞에서 ㅠ오른손을 거두시고 猛烈(맹렬)한 불이 四方(사방)으로 사름 같이 으야곱을 사르셨도다
In fierce anger he has cut off every horn of Israel. He has withdrawn his right hand at the approach of the enemy. He has burned in Jacob like a flaming fire that consumes everything around it. He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about. |

이怨讐(원수) 같이 활을 당기고 ㅐ對敵(대적)처럼 오른손을 들고 서서 눈에 아름다운 모든 者(자)를 殺戮(살륙)하셨음이여 處女(처녀) 시온의 帳幕(장막)에 怒(노)를 불처럼 쏟으셨도다
Like an enemy he has strung his bow; his right hand is ready. Like a foe he has slain all who were pleasing to the eye; he has poured out his wrath like fire on the tent of the Daughter of Zion. He hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury like fire. |

主(주)께서 怨讐(원수)같이 되어 이스라엘을 삼키셨음이여 모든 ㄱ宮(궁)을 삼키셨고 堅固(견고)한 城(성)들을 毁破(훼파)하사 處女(처녀) 유다에 ㄴ근심과 哀痛(애통)을 더하셨도다
The Lord is like an enemy; he has swallowed up Israel. He has swallowed up all her palaces and destroyed her strongholds. He has multiplied mourning and lamentation for the Daughter of Judah. The Lord was as an enemy: he hath swallowed up Israel, he hath swallowed up all her palaces: he hath destroyed his strong holds, and hath increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation. |

ㄷ聖幕(성막)을 동산의 草幕(초막)같이 헐어 버리시며 ㄹ公會(공회)
處所(처소)를 毁破(훼파)하셨도다 여호와께서 시온 가운데서 節期(절기)와 ㅁ安息日(안식일)을 잊어버리게 하시며 震怒(진노)하사 王(왕)과
祭司長(제사장)을 蔑視(멸시)하셨도다
He has laid waste his dwelling like a garden; he has destroyed his place of meeting. The LORD has made Zion forget her appointed feasts and her Sabbaths; in his fierce anger he has spurned both king and priest. And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest. |

ㅂ여호와께서 또 自己(자기) 祭壇(제단)을 버리시며 ㅅ自己(자기) 聖所(성소)를 미워하시며 ㅇ宮墻(궁장)을 怨讐(원수)의 손에 붙이셨으매 ㅈ저희가 여호와의 殿(전)에서 喧譁(훤화)하기를 節期(절기) 날과 같이 하였도다
The Lord has rejected his altar and abandoned his sanctuary. He has handed over to the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have raised a shout in the house of the LORD as on the day of an appointed feast. The Lord hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the LORD, as in the day of a solemn feast. |

여호와께서 ㅊ處女(처녀) 시온의 城(성)을 ㅋ헐기로 決心(결심)하시고 ㅌ줄을 띠고 ㅍ毁破(훼파)함에서 손을 거두지 아니하사 城(성)과 廓(곽)으로 痛哭(통곡)하게 하셨으매 저희가 함께 衰(쇠)하였도다
The LORD determined to tear down the wall around the Daughter of Zion. He stretched out a measuring line and did not withhold his hand from destroying. He made ramparts and walls lament; together they wasted away. The LORD hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he hath stretched out a line, he hath not withdrawn his hand from destroying: therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament; they languished together. |

城門(성문)이 땅에 묻히며 ㅎ빗장이 꺾여 毁破(훼파)되고 ㅏ王(왕)과 方伯(방백)들이
律法(율법)없는 列邦(열방) 가운데 있으며 ㅑ그 先知者(선지자)들은 여호와의 默示(묵시)를 받지
못하는도다
Her gates have sunk into the ground; their bars he has broken and destroyed. Her king and her princes are exiled among the nations, the law is no more, and her prophets no longer find visions from the LORD. Her gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the LORD. |

處女(처녀) 시온의 長老(장로)들이 ㅓ땅에 앉아 ㅕ潛潛(잠잠)하고 ㅗ티끌을 머리에 무릅쓰고 ㅛ굵은 베를 허리에 둘렀음이여 예루살렘
處女(처녀)들은 머리를 땅에 숙였도다
The elders of the Daughter of Zion sit on the ground in silence; they have sprinkled dust on their heads and put on sackcloth. The young women of Jerusalem have bowed their heads to the ground. The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground, and keep silence: they have cast up dust upon their heads; they have girded themselves with sackcloth: the virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground. |

● ㅜ내 눈이 눈물에 傷(상)하며 ㅠ내 창자가 끓으며 으내 肝(간)이 땅에 쏟아졌으니 이이는 處女(처녀) 내 百姓(백성)이
敗亡(패망)하여 ㅐ어린 子女(자녀)와 젖먹는 아이들이 ㄱ城邑(성읍) 길거리에 昏迷(혼미)함이로다
My eyes fail from weeping, I am in torment within, my heart is poured out on the ground because my people are destroyed, because children and infants faint in the streets of the city. Mine eyes do fail with tears, my bowels are troubled, my liver is poured upon the earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my people; because the children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city. |

저희가 城邑(성읍) 길거리에서 傷(상)한 者(자)처럼 昏迷(혼미)하여 그 어미의 품에서 魂(혼)이 떠날 때에 어미에게 이르기를
ㄴ穀食(곡식)과 葡萄酒(포도주)가 어디 있느뇨 하도다

They say to their mothers, "Where is bread and wine?" as they faint like wounded men in the streets of the city, as their lives ebb away in their mothers' arms. They say to their mothers, Where is corn and wine? when they swooned as the wounded in the streets of the city, when their soul was poured out into their mothers' bosom. |

處女(처녀) 예루살렘이여 내가 무엇으로 네게 證據(증거)하며 ㄷ무엇으로 네게 比喩(비유)할꼬 處女(처녀) 시온이여 내가 무엇으로 네게 比較(비교)하여 너를 慰勞(위로) 할꼬
ㄹ너의 破壞(파괴)됨이 바다 같이 크니 누가 너를 고칠소냐
What can I say for you? With what can I compare you, O Daughter of Jerusalem? To what can I liken you, that I may comfort you, O Virgin Daughter of Zion? Your wound is as deep as the sea. Who can heal you? What thing shall I take to witness for thee? what thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? what shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion? for thy breach is great like the sea: who can heal thee? |

ㅁ네 先知者(선지자)들이 네게 對(대)하여 헛되고 어리석은 默示(묵시)를 보았으므로 ㅂ네 罪惡(죄악)을 드러내어서 ㅅ네 사로잡힌 것을 돌이키지
못하였도다 저희가 ㅇ거짓 警告(경고)와 迷惑(미혹)케 할 것만 보았도다
The visions of your prophets were false and worthless; they did not expose your sin to ward off your captivity. The oracles they gave you were false and misleading. Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment. |

무릇
지나가는 者(자)는 다 너를 向(향)하여 拍掌(박장)하며 ㅈ處女(처녀) 예루살렘을 向(향)하여 誹笑(비소)하고
머리를 흔들며 말하기를 ㅊ穩全(온전)한 榮光(영광)이라, 天下(천하)의 喜樂(희락)이라 일컫던 城(성)이 이 城(성)이냐 하며
All who pass your way clap their hands at you; they scoff and shake their heads at the Daughter of Jerusalem: "Is this the city that was called the perfection of beauty, the joy of the whole earth?" All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth? |

ㅋ너의 모든 怨讐(원수)는 너를 向(향)하여 입을 벌리며 誹笑(비소)하고 이를 갈며 말하기를 우리가 ㅌ저를 삼켰도다 우리가 바라던 날이 果然(과연) 이
날이라 ㅍ우리가 얻기도 하고 보기도 하였다 하도다
All your enemies open their mouths wide against you; they scoff and gnash their teeth and say, "We have swallowed her up. This is the day we have waited for; we have lived to see it." All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it. |

여호와께서 이미 定(정)하신 일을 行(행)하시고 ㅎ옛날에 ㅏ命(명)하신 말씀을 다 이루셨음이여 ㅑ矜恤(긍휼)히 여기지 아니하시고 ㅓ毁破(훼파)하사 ㅕ怨讐(원수)로 너를 因(인)하여 즐거워하게 하며 너의 ㅗ對敵(대적)의 뿔로 높이 들리게
하셨도다
The LORD has done what he planned; he has fulfilled his word, which he decreed long ago. He has overthrown you without pity, he has let the enemy gloat over you, he has exalted the horn of your foes. The LORD hath done that which he had devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old: he hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he hath caused thine enemy to rejoice over thee, he hath set up the horn of thine adversaries. |

저희 마음이 主(주)를 向(향)하여 부르짖기를 ㅛ處女(처녀) 시온의 城郭(성곽)아 너는 ㅜ밤낮으로 ㅠ눈물을 江(강)처럼 흘릴찌어다
으스스로 쉬지 말고 이네 눈동자로 쉬게 하지 말찌어다
The hearts of the people cry out to the Lord. O wall of the Daughter of Zion, let your tears flow like a river day and night; give yourself no relief, your eyes no rest. Their heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease. |

ㅐ밤 初更(초경)에 일어나 부르짖을 찌어다 ㄱ네 마음을 主(주)의 얼굴 앞에 물 쏟듯 할찌어다 ㄴ各(각) 길머리에서 주려 昏迷(혼미)한 네 어린 子女(자녀)의 生命(생명)을 爲(위)하여 主(주)를 向(향)하여 ㄷ손을 들찌어다 하였도다
Arise, cry out in the night, as the watches of the night begin; pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children, who faint from hunger at the head of every street. Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street. |

● 여호와여 監察(감찰)하소서 ㄹ뉘게 이같이 行(행)하셨는지요 女人(여인)들이 어찌 自己(자기) 열매 곧 ㅁ손에 받든
ㅂ아이를 먹으오며 ㅅ祭司長(제사장)들과 先知者(선지자)들이 어찌 主(주)의 聖所(성소)에서 殺戮(살륙)을 當(당)하오리이까
Look, O LORD, and consider: Whom have you ever treated like this? Should women eat their offspring, the children they have cared for? Should priest and prophet be killed in the sanctuary of the Lord? Behold, O LORD, and consider to whom thou hast done this. Shall the women eat their fruit, and children of a span long? shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord? |

ㅇ老幼(노유)는 다 길바닥에 엎드러졌사오며 내 處女(처녀)들과 少年(소년)들이 칼에 죽었나이다 ㅈ主(주)께서 震怒(진노)하신 날에
죽이시되 ㅊ矜恤(긍휼)히 여기지 아니하시고 殺戮(살륙)하셨나이다
Young and old lie together in the dust of the streets; my young men and maidens have fallen by the sword. You have slain them in the day of your anger; you have slaughtered them without pity. The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; thou hast slain them in the day of thine anger; thou hast killed, and not pitied. |

主(주)께서 ㅋ내 두려운 일을 四方(사방)에서 부르시기를 ㅌ節期(절기)에 무리를 부름같이 하셨나이다 ㅍ여호와께서 震怒(진노)하신 날에
避(피)하거나 남은 者(자)가 없었나이다 ㅎ내 손에 받들어 기르는 者(자)를 내 怨讐(원수)가 다 滅(멸)하였나이다
As you summon to a feast day, so you summoned against me terrors on every side. In the day of the LORD'S anger no one escaped or survived; those I cared for and reared, my enemy has destroyed. Thou hast called as in a solemn day my terrors round about, so that in the day of the LORD'S anger none escaped nor remained: those that I have swaddled and brought up hath mine enemy consumed. |
