ㄴ人子(인자)야 너는 ㄷ수수께끼와 比喩(비유)를 이스라엘 族屬(족속)에게 베풀어
Son of man, set forth an allegory and tell the house of Israel a parable. Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel; |

이르기를 主(주) 여호와의 말씀에 彩色(채색)이 具備(구비)하고 ㄹ날개가 크고 깃이 길고 털이 숱한
ㅁ큰 독수리가 ㅂ레바논에 이르러 ㅅ柏香木(백향목) 높은 가지를 取(취)하되
Say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: A great eagle with powerful wings, long feathers and full plumage of varied colors came to Lebanon. Taking hold of the top of a cedar, And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar: |

그 軟(연)한 가지 끝을 꺾어 가지고 1)장사하는 땅에 이르러 商賈(상고)의 城邑(성읍)에 두고
1) 가나안 땅에
he broke off its topmost shoot and carried it away to a land of merchants, where he planted it in a city of traders. He cropped off the top of his young twigs, and carried it into a land of traffick; he set it in a city of merchants. |

또 그 땅의 種子(종자)를 取(취)하여 ㅇ沃土(옥토)에 심되 ㅈ수양버들 가지처럼 큰 물가에 심더니
'He took some of the seed of your land and put it in fertile soil. He planted it like a willow by abundant water, He took also of the seed of the land, and planted it in a fruitful field; he placed it by great waters, and set it as a willow tree. |

그것이 자라며 ㅊ퍼져서 ㅋ높지 아니한 葡萄(포도)나무 곧 굵은 가지와 가는 가지가 난 葡萄(포도)나무가 되어 그 가지는 독수리를 向(향)하였고 그 뿌리는 독수리의
아래 있었더라
and it sprouted and became a low, spreading vine. Its branches turned toward him, but its roots remained under it. So it became a vine and produced branches and put out leafy boughs. And it grew, and became a spreading vine of low stature, whose branches turned toward him, and the roots thereof were under him: so it became a vine, and brought forth branches, and shot forth sprigs. |

● ㅌ또 날개가 크고 털이 많은 큰 독수리 하나가 있었는데 그 葡萄(포도)나무가 이 독수리에게 물을 받으려고 그 ㅍ심긴 두둑에서 그를 向(향)하여 뿌리가 發(발)하고 가지가 퍼졌도다
'But there was another great eagle with powerful wings and full plumage. The vine now sent out its roots toward him from the plot where it was planted and stretched out its branches to him for water. There was also another great eagle with great wings and many feathers: and, behold, this vine did bend her roots toward him, and shot forth her branches toward him, that he might water it by the furrows of her plantation. |

그 葡萄(포도)나무를 큰 물 가 沃土(옥토)에 심은 것은 가지를 내고 열매를 맺어서 아름다운 葡萄(포도)나무를 이루게 하려 하였음이니라
It had been planted in good soil by abundant water so that it would produce branches, bear fruit and become a splendid vine.' It was planted in a good soil by great waters, that it might bring forth branches, and that it might bear fruit, that it might be a goodly vine. |

너는 이르기를 主(주) 여호와의 말씀에 그 나무가 能(능)히 蕃盛(번성)하겠느냐 이 독수리가 어찌 그 뿌리를 빼고 實果(실과)를 따며 그 나무로 시들게 하지 아니하겠으며 그 軟(연)한 잎사귀로 마르게 하지
아니하겠느냐 많은 百姓(백성)이나 强(강)한 팔이 아니라도 그 뿌리를 뽑으리라
Say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Will it thrive? Will it not be uprooted and stripped of its fruit so that it withers? All its new growth will wither. It will not take a strong arm or many people to pull it up by the roots. Say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof. |

볼찌어다 그것이 심겼으나 蕃盛(번성)하겠느냐 東風(동풍)이 부딪힐 때에 ㅎ아주 마르지 아니하겠느냐 그 자라던 두둑에서 마르리라 하셨다 하라
Even if it is transplanted, will it thrive? Will it not wither completely when the east wind strikes it--wither away in the plot where it grew?'" Yea, behold, being planted, shall it prosper? shall it not utterly wither, when the east wind toucheth it? it shall wither in the furrows where it grew. |

● 여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 臨(임)하여 가라사대
Then the word of the LORD came to me: Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, |
12 |
너는 ㅏ悖逆(패역)한 族屬(족속)에게 묻기를 너희가 ㅑ이 比喩(비유)를 깨닫지 못하겠느냐 하고 그들에게 告(고)하기를
ㅓ바벨론 王(왕)이 예루살렘에 이르러 王(왕)과 方伯(방백)을 사로잡아 바벨론 自己(자기)에게로 끌어가고
Say to this rebellious house, 'Do you not know what these things mean?' Say to them: 'The king of Babylon went to Jerusalem and carried off her king and her nobles, bringing them back with him to Babylon. Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon; |

ㅕ그 王族(왕족) 中(중)에 하나를 擇(택)하여 ㅗ言約(언약)을 세우고 그로 ㅛ盟誓(맹세)케 하고 ㅜ또 그 땅의 能(능)한
者(자)들을 옮겨 갔나니
Then he took a member of the royal family and made a treaty with him, putting him under oath. He also carried away the leading men of the land, And hath taken of the king's seed, and made a covenant with him, and hath taken an oath of him: he hath also taken the mighty of the land: |
14 |
이는 나라를 ㅠ낮추어 스스로 서지 못하고 그 言約(언약)을 지켜야 能(능)히 서게 하려 하였음이어늘
so that the kingdom would be brought low, unable to rise again, surviving only by keeping his treaty. That the kingdom might be base, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping of his covenant it might stand. |
15 |
으그가 使者(사자)를 이애굽에 보내어 말과 軍隊(군대)를 求(구)함으로 바벨론 王(왕)을 背叛(배반)하였으니
ㅐ亨通(형통)하겠느냐 이런 일을 行(행)한 者(자)가 避(피)하겠느냐 ㄱ言約(언약)을 背叛(배반)하고야 避(피)하겠느냐
But the king rebelled against him by sending his envoys to Egypt to get horses and a large army. Will he succeed? Will he who does such things escape? Will he break the treaty and yet escape? But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things? or shall he break the covenant, and be delivered? |

나 主(주) 여호와가 말하노라 ㄴ내가 나의 삶을 두고 盟誓(맹세)하노니 ㄷ바벨론 王(왕)이 ㄹ그를 王(왕)으로 세웠거늘 그가 盟誓(맹세)를
업신여겨 言約(언약)을 背叛(배반)하였은즉 그 王(왕)의 居(거)하는 곳 바벨론 中(중)에서 王(왕)과 함께 있다가 죽을 것이라
'As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, he shall die in Babylon, in the land of the king who put him on the throne, whose oath he despised and whose treaty he broke. As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die. |
17 |
對敵(대적)이 ㅁ土城(토성)을 쌓으며 雲梯(운제)를 세우고 많은 사람을 滅絶(멸절)하려 할 때에 바로가 그 큰 軍隊(군대)와 많은 무리로도 ㅂ그 戰爭(전쟁)에 그를 도와 주지 못하리라
Pharaoh with his mighty army and great horde will be of no help to him in war, when ramps are built and siege works erected to destroy many lives. Neither shall Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company make for him in the war, by casting up mounts, and building forts, to cut off many persons: |

ㅅ그가 이미 손을 내어 밀어 言約(언약)하였거늘 盟誓(맹세)를 업신여겨 言約(언약)을 背叛(배반)하고 이 모든 일을 行(행)하였으니 避(피)하지 못하리라

He despised the oath by breaking the covenant. Because he had given his hand in pledge and yet did all these things, he shall not escape. Seeing he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand, and hath done all these things, he shall not escape. |

그러므로 나 主(주) 여호와가 말하노라 내가 나의 삶을 두고 盟誓(맹세)하노니 그가 내 盟誓(맹세)를 업신여기고 내 言約(언약)을 背叛(배반)하였은즉 내가 그 罪(죄)를 그 머리에 돌리되
'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: As surely as I live, I will bring down on his head my oath that he despised and my covenant that he broke. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head. |
20 |
ㅇ내 그물을 그 위에 베풀며 내 올무에 걸리게 하여 끌고 바벨론으로 가서 ㅈ나를 叛逆(반역)한 그 叛逆(반역)을 거기서 ㅊ鞫問(국문)할찌며
I will spread my net for him, and he will be caught in my snare. I will bring him to Babylon and execute judgment upon him there because he was unfaithful to me. And I will spread my net upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, and will plead with him there for his trespass that he hath trespassed against me. |
21 |
그 모든 軍隊(군대)에서 逃亡(도망)한 者(자)들은 다 칼에 엎드러질 것이요 ㅋ그 남은 者(자)는 四方(사방)으로 흩어지리니 ㅌ나 여호와가 이것을 말한 줄을 너희가
알리라
All his fleeing troops will fall by the sword, and the survivors will be scattered to the winds. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken. And all his fugitives with all his bands shall fall by the sword, and they that remain shall be scattered toward all winds: and ye shall know that I the LORD have spoken it. |
22 |
● 나 主(주) 여호와가 말하노라 ㅍ내가 또 柏香木(백향목) 꼭대기에서 높은 가지를 取(취)하여 심으리라 내가 그 높은 ㅎ새 가지 끝에서 軟(연)한 가지를 꺾어
ㅏ높고 빼어난 山(산)에 심되
'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I myself will take a shoot from the very top of a cedar and plant it; I will break off a tender sprig from its topmost shoots and plant it on a high and lofty mountain. Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high mountain and eminent: |

ㅑ이스라엘 높은 山(산)에 심으리니 그 가지가 茂盛(무성)하고 열매를 맺어서 아름다운 柏香木(백향목)을 이룰 것이요 ㅓ各樣(각양) 새가 그 아래 깃들이며 그 가지 그늘에 居(거)할찌라
On the mountain heights of Israel I will plant it; it will produce branches and bear fruit and become a splendid cedar. Birds of every kind will nest in it; they will find shelter in the shade of its branches. In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell. |
24 |
들의 모든 나무가 나 여호와는 ㅕ높은 나무를 낮추고 낮은 나무를 높이며 ㅗ푸른 나무를 말리우고 마른 나무를 茂盛(무성)케 하는줄 알리라 ㅛ나
여호와는 말하고 이루느니라 하라
All the trees of the field will know that I the LORD bring down the tall tree and make the low tree grow tall. I dry up the green tree and make the dry tree flourish. "'I the LORD have spoken, and I will do it.'" And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it. |
