ㅅ새벽에 大祭司長(대제사장)들이 卽時(즉시) 長老(장로)들과 書記官(서기관)들 곧 온 公會(공회)로 더불어 ㅇ議論(의논)하고 ㅈ예수를 結縛(결박)하여
ㅊ끌고 가서 ㅋ빌라도에게 ㅌ넘겨 주니
Very early in the morning, the chief priests, with the elders, the teachers of the law and the whole Sanhedrin, reached a decision. They bound Jesus, led him away and handed him over to Pilate. And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate. |

ㅍ빌라도가 묻되 ㅎ네가 유대人(인)의 王(왕)이냐 예수께서 對答(대답)하여 가라사대 ㅏ네 말이 옳도다 하시매
Are you the king of the Jews? asked Pilate. "Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied. And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto him, Thou sayest it. |

大祭司長(대제사장)들이 여러 가지로 告訴(고소)하는지라
The chief priests accused him of many things. And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing. |

빌라도가 또 물어 가로되 ㅑ아무 對答(대답)도 없느냐 저희가 얼마나 많은 것으로 너를 告訴(고소)하는가 보라 하되
So again Pilate asked him, "Aren't you going to answer? See how many things they are accusing you of." And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? behold how many things they witness against thee. |

예수께서 다시 아무 말씀도 對答(대답)지 아니하시니 빌라도가 奇異(기이)히 여기더라
But Jesus still made no reply, and Pilate was amazed. But Jesus yet answered nothing; so that Pilate marvelled. |

● ㅓ名節(명절)을 當(당)하면 百姓(백성)의 求(구)하는 대로 罪囚(죄수) 하나를 놓아 주는 前例(전례)가 있더니
Now it was the custom at the Feast to release a prisoner whom the people requested. Now at that feast he released unto them one prisoner, whomsoever they desired. |

ㅕ民亂(민란)을 꾸미고 이 ㅗ民亂(민란)에 殺人(살인)하고 捕縛(포박)된 者(자) 中(중)에 바라바라 하는 者(자)가 있는지라
A man called Barabbas was in prison with the insurrectionists who had committed murder in the uprising. And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection. |

무리가 나아가서 前例(전례)대로 하여 주기를 求(구)한대
The crowd came up and asked Pilate to do for them what he usually did. And the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do as he had ever done unto them. |

빌라도가 對答(대답)하여 가로되 너희는 내가 유대人(인)의 王(왕)을 너희에게 놓아주기를 願(원)하느냐 하니
Do you want me to release to you the king of the Jews? asked Pilate, But Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews? |

이는 저가 大祭司長(대제사장)들이 ㅛ猜忌(시기)로 예수를 넘겨 준 줄 앎이러라

knowing it was out of envy that the chief priests had handed Jesus over to him. For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy. |

그러나 大祭司長(대제사장)들이 무리를 衝動(충동)하여 도리어 바라바를 놓아 달라 하게 하니
But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have Pilate release Barabbas instead. But the chief priests moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them. |

빌라도가 또 對答(대답)하여 가로되 그러면 ㅜ너희가 유대人(인)의 王(왕)이라 하는 이는 내가 어떻게 하랴

What shall I do, then, with the one you call the king of the Jews? Pilate asked them. And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What will ye then that I shall do unto him whom ye call the King of the Jews? |

저희가 다시 소리지르되 저를 十字架(십자가)에 못 박게 하소서
Crucify him! they shouted. And they cried out again, Crucify him. |
14 |
빌라도가 가로되 어찜이뇨 ㅠ무슨 惡(악)한 일을 하였느냐 하니 더욱 소리지르되 十字架(십자가)에 못 박게 하소서 하는지라
Why? What crime has he committed? asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, "Crucify him!" Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him. |

빌라도가 무리에게 滿足(만족)을 주고자 하여 바라바는 놓아 주고 으예수는 채찍질하고 十字架(십자가)에 못 박히게 넘겨주니라
Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified. And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified. |

● 이軍兵(군병)들이 예수를 끌고 ㅐ브라이도리온이라는 ㄱ뜰 안으로 들어가서 ㄴ온 軍隊(군대)를 모으고
The soldiers led Jesus away into the palace (that is, the Praetorium) and called together the whole company of soldiers. And the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Praetorium; and they call together the whole band. |

예수에게 ㄷ紫色(자색) 옷을 입히고 가시 冕旒冠(면류관)을 엮어 씌우고
They put a purple robe on him, then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on him. And they clothed him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his head, |

禮(예)하여 가로되 ㄹ유대人(인)의 王(왕)이여 平安(평안)할찌어다 하고

And they began to call out to him, "Hail, king of the Jews!" And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews! |

갈대로 그의 머리를 치며 ㅁ침을 뱉으며 ㅂ꿇어 절하더라
Again and again they struck him on the head with a staff and spit on him. Falling on their knees, they paid homage to him. And they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him. |

ㅅ戱弄(희롱)을 다한 後(후) 紫色(자색) 옷을 벗기고 도로 그의 옷을 입히고 十字架(십자가)에 못 박으려고 ㅇ끌고 나가니라
And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him out to crucify him. And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him. |

● 마침 알렉산더와 ㅈ루포의 아비인 ㅊ구레네 사람 시몬이 시골로서 와서 지나가는데 저희가 그를 ㅋ抑止(억지)로 같이 가게 하여 예수의
十字架(십자가)를 지우고
A certain man from Cyrene, Simon, the father of Alexander and Rufus, was passing by on his way in from the country, and they forced him to carry the cross. And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his cross. |

ㅌ예수를 끌고 골고다라 하는 곳 飜譯(번역)하면 해골의 곳에 이르러
They brought Jesus to the place called Golgotha (which means The Place of the Skull). And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull. |

ㅍ沒藥(몰약)을 탄 葡萄酒(포도주)를 주었으나 예수께서 받지 아니하시니라
Then they offered him wine mixed with myrrh, but he did not take it. And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not. |

十字架(십자가)에 못 박고 ㅎ그 옷을 나눌쌔 누가 어느 것을 얻을까 하여 제비를 뽑더라

And they crucified him. Dividing up his clothes, they cast lots to see what each would get. And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take. |

ㅓ强盜(강도) 둘을 예수와 함께 十字架(십자가)에 못 박으니 ㅕ하나는 그의 右便(우편)에 하나는 左便(좌편)에 있더라
They crucified two robbers with him, one on his right and one on his left. And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left. |

And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors. |

ㅗ지나가는 者(자)들은 自己(자기) ㅛ머리를 흔들며 예수를 侮辱(모욕)하여 가로되 ㅜ아하 ㅠ聖殿(성전)을 헐고 사흘에 짓는 者(자)여
Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads and saying, "So! You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, |

네가 너를 救援(구원)하여 十字架(십자가)에서 내려 오라 하고
come down from the cross and save yourself!" Save thyself, and come down from the cross. |
31 |
그와 같이 大祭司長(대제사장)들도 書記官(서기관)들과 함께 戱弄(희롱)하며 서로 말하되 으저가 남은 救援(구원)하였으되 이自己(자기)는 救援(구원)할 수 없도다
In the same way the chief priests and the teachers of the law mocked him among themselves. "He saved others," they said, "but he can't save himself! Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save. |

ㅐ이스라엘의 王(왕) ㄱ그리스도가 지금 十字架(십자가)에서 내려와 우리로 ㄴ보고 믿게 할찌어다 하며 함께 ㄷ十字架(십자가)에 못박힌
者(자)들도 예수를 辱(욕)하더라
Let this Christ, this King of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe." Those crucified with him also heaped insults on him. Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him. |

● 第(제) 六時(육시)가 되매 온 땅에 어두움이 臨(임)하여 第(제) 九時(구시)까지 繼續(계속)하더니
At the sixth hour darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour. And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. |

第(제) 九時(구시)에 예수께서 ㄹ크게 소리지르시되 ㅁ엘리 엘리 라마 사박다니 하시니 이를 飜譯(번역)하면 나의 하나님 나의 하나님 어찌하여 나를 버리셨나이까 하는
뜻이라
And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"--which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? |

곁에 섰던 者(자) 中(중) 어떤 이들이 듣고 가로되 보라 엘리야를 부른다 하고
When some of those standing near heard this, they said, "Listen, he's calling Elijah." And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias. |
36 |
한 사람이 달려가서 海絨(해융)에 ㅂ신葡萄酒(포도주)를 머금게 하여 갈대에 꿰어 ㅅ마시우고 가로되 가만 두어라 엘리야가 와서 저를
내려 주나 보자 하더라
One man ran, filled a sponge with wine vinegar, put it on a stick, and offered it to Jesus to drink. "Now leave him alone. Let's see if Elijah comes to take him down," he said. And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down. |
37 |
예수께서 ㅇ큰 소리를 지르시고 ㅈ殞命(운명)하시다
With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last. And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost. |
38 |
이에 ㅊ聖所(성소) 揮帳(휘장)이 위로부터 아래까지 찢어져 둘이 되니라
The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom. |
39 |
ㅋ예수를 向(향)하여 섰던 百夫長(백부장)이 그렇게 殞命(운명)하심을 보고 가로되 이 사람은
ㅌ眞實(진실)로 ㅍ하나님의 아들이었도다 하더라
And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, heard his cry and saw how he died, he said, "Surely this man was the Son of God!" And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God. |

ㅎ멀리서 바라보는 ㅏ女子(여자)들도 있는데 그 中(중)에 ㅑ막달라 마리아와 또 ㅓ작은 야고보와 요세의 어머니 마리아와 또
ㅕ살로메가 있었으니
Some women were watching from a distance. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joses, and Salome. There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome; |

이들은 예수께서 갈릴리에 계실 때에 좇아 섬기던 者(자)요 또 以外(이외)에도 예수와 함께 예루살렘에 올라온 ㅗ女子(여자)가 많이 있었더라

It was Preparation Day (that is, the day before the Sabbath). So as evening approached, And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath, |

아리마대 사람 요셉이 와서 唐突(당돌)히 빌라도에게 들어가 예수의 屍體(시체)를 달라 하니 이 사람은 ㅠ尊貴(존귀)한
公會員(공회원)이요 으하나님의 나라를 기다리는 者(자)라
Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent member of the Council, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, went boldly to Pilate and asked for Jesus' body. Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus. |

빌라도는 예수께서 벌써 죽었을까 하고 異常(이상)히 여겨 이百夫長(백부장)을 불러 죽은지 오래냐 묻고

Pilate was surprised to hear that he was already dead. Summoning the centurion, he asked him if Jesus had already died. And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead. |

When he learned from the centurion that it was so, he gave the body to Joseph. And when he knew it of the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph. |

요셉이 ㅐ細麻布(세마포)를 사고 예수를 내려다가 이것으로 싸서 ㄱ바위 속에 판 무덤에 ㄴ넣어 두고
ㄷ돌을 굴려 무덤 門(문)에 놓으매
So Joseph bought some linen cloth, took down the body, wrapped it in the linen, and placed it in a tomb cut out of rock. Then he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb. And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre. |
