네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주어 얻게 하시는 땅에서 或時(혹시) 被殺(피살)한 屍體(시체)가 들에 엎드러진 것을 發見(발견)하고 그 쳐 죽인 者(자)가 누구인지 알지 못하거든
If a man is found slain, lying in a field in the land the LORD your God is giving you to possess, and it is not known who killed him, If one be found slain in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it, lying in the field, and it be not known who hath slain him: |

너의 長老(장로)들과 裁判長(재판장)들이 나가서 그 被殺(피살)한 곳에서 四面(사면)에 있는 各(각) 城邑(성읍)의 遠近(원근)을 잴 것이요
your elders and judges shall go out and measure the distance from the body to the neighboring towns. Then thy elders and thy judges shall come forth, and they shall measure unto the cities which are round about him that is slain: |

그 被殺(피살)한 곳에서 第一(제일) 가까운 城邑(성읍) 곧 그 城邑(성읍)의 長老(장로)들이 아직 ㄷ부리우지 아니하고 멍에를 메지 아니한 암송아지를 取(취)하고

Then the elders of the town nearest the body shall take a heifer that has never been worked and has never worn a yoke And it shall be, that the city which is next unto the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take an heifer, which hath not been wrought with, and which hath not drawn in the yoke; |

城邑(성읍)의 長老(장로)들이 물이 恒常(항상) 흐르고 갈지도 심지도 못하는 골짜기로 그 송아지를 끌고 가서 그 골짜기에서 그 송아지의 목을 꺾을 것이요
and lead her down to a valley that has not been plowed or planted and where there is a flowing stream. There in the valley they are to break the heifer's neck. And the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a rough valley, which is neither eared nor sown, and shall strike off the heifer's neck there in the valley: |

레위 子孫(자손) 祭司長(제사장)들도 그리로 올지니 ㄹ그들은 네 하나님 여호와께서 擇(택)하사 自己(자기)를 섬기게 하시며 또 여호와의 이름으로 祝福(축복)하게 하신 者(자)라 모든
訴訟(소송)과 모든 鬪爭(투쟁)이 ㅁ그들의 말대로 判決(판결)될 것이니라
The priests, the sons of Levi, shall step forward, for the LORD your God has chosen them to minister and to pronounce blessings in the name of the LORD and to decide all cases of dispute and assault. And the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them the LORD thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of the LORD; and by their word shall every controversy and every stroke be tried: |

그 被殺(피살)된 곳에서 第一(제일) 가까운 城邑(성읍)의 모든 長老(장로)들은 그 골짜기에서 목을 꺾은 암송아지 위에 ㅂ손을 씻으며
Then all the elders of the town nearest the body shall wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley, And all the elders of that city, that are next unto the slain man, shall wash their hands over the heifer that is beheaded in the valley: |

말하기를 우리의 손이 이 피를 흘리지 아니하였고 우리의 눈이 이것을 보지도 못하였나이다
and they shall declare: "Our hands did not shed this blood, nor did our eyes see it done. And they shall answer and say, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen it. |

여호와여 主(주)께서 贖良(속량)하신 主(주)의 百姓(백성) 이스라엘을 赦(사)하시고
ㅅ無罪(무죄)한 피를 主(주)의 百姓(백성) 이스라엘 中(중)에 머물러 두지 마옵소서 하면 그 피 흘린 罪(죄)가 赦(사)함을
받으리니

Accept this atonement for your people Israel, whom you have redeemed, O LORD, and do not hold your people guilty of the blood of an innocent man." And the bloodshed will be atoned for. Be merciful, O LORD, unto thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and lay not innocent blood unto thy people of Israel's charge. And the blood shall be forgiven them. |

너는 이와 같이 여호와의 보시기에 正直(정직)한 일을 行(행)하여 ㅇ無罪者(무죄자)의 피 흘린 罪(죄)를 너희 中(중)에서 除(제)할찌니라

So you will purge from yourselves the guilt of shedding innocent blood, since you have done what is right in the eyes of the LORD. So shalt thou put away the guilt of innocent blood from among you, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD. |

● 네가 나가서 對敵(대적)과 싸움함을 當(당)하여 네 하나님 여호와께서 그들을 네 손에 붙이시므로 네가 그들을 사로잡은 後(후)에
When you go to war against your enemies and the LORD your God delivers them into your hands and you take captives, When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the LORD thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive, |

네가 萬一(만일) 그 捕虜(포로) 中(중)의 아리따운 女子(여자)를 보고 戀戀(연련)하여 아내를 삼고자 하거든
if you notice among the captives a beautiful woman and are attracted to her, you may take her as your wife. And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife; |

그를 네 집으로 데려갈 것이요 그는 그 머리를 밀고 손톱을 베고
Bring her into your home and have her shave her head, trim her nails Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house; and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails; |
13 |
또 捕虜(포로)의 衣服(의복)을 벗고 네 집에 居(거)하며 ㅈ그 父母(부모)를 爲(위)하여 一個月(일개월)동안 哀哭(애곡)한 後(후)에 네가 그에게로 들어가서 그 男便(남편)이 되고 그는 네 아내가 될 것이요

and put aside the clothes she was wearing when captured. After she has lived in your house and mourned her father and mother for a full month, then you may go to her and be her husband and she shall be your wife. And she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thine house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and she shall be thy wife. |

그 後(후)에 네가 그를 기뻐하지 아니하거든 ㅊ그 마음대로 가게 하고 決(결)코 돈을 받고 팔지 말지라 네가 그를 辱(욕)보였은즉 ㅋ종으로 여기지 말찌니라
If you are not pleased with her, let her go wherever she wishes. You must not sell her or treat her as a slave, since you have dishonored her. And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not make merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled her. |

● 어떤 사람이 두 아내를 두었는데 ㅌ하나는 사랑을 받고 하나는 미움을 받다가 그 사랑을 받는 者(자)와 미움을 받는 者(자)가 둘 다 아들을 낳았다 하자 그 미움을 받는 者(자)의
所生(소생)이 長子(장자)여든
If a man has two wives, and he loves one but not the other, and both bear him sons but the firstborn is the son of the wife he does not love, If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated: |

ㅍ自己(자기)의 所有(소유)를 그 아들들에게 基業(기업)으로 나누는
날에 그 사랑을 받는 者(자)의 아들로 長子(장자)를 삼아 참 長子(장자) 곧 미움을 받는 者(자)의 아들보다 앞세우지 말고
when he wills his property to his sons, he must not give the rights of the firstborn to the son of the wife he loves in preference to his actual firstborn, the son of the wife he does not love. Then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn: |

반드시 그 미움을 받는 者(자)의 아들을 長子(장자)로 認定(인정)하여 自己(자기)의 所有(소유)에서 그에게는 ㅎ두 몫을 줄 것이니 그는 自己(자기)의
ㅏ氣力(기력)의 始作(시작)이라 ㅑ長子(장자)의 權利(권리)가 그에게 있음이니라
He must acknowledge the son of his unloved wife as the firstborn by giving him a double share of all he has. That son is the first sign of his father's strength. The right of the firstborn belongs to him. But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath: for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his. |

● 사람에게 頑惡(완악)하고 悖逆(패역)한 아들이 있어 그 아비의 말이나 그 어미의 말을 順從(순종)치 아니하고 父母(부모)가
懲責(징책)하여도 듣지 아니하거든
If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him, If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them: |

父母(부모)가 그를 잡아가지고 城門(성문)에 이르러 그 城邑(성읍) 長老(장로)들에게 나아가서
his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town. Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place; |

그 城邑(성읍) 長老(장로)들에게 말하기를 우리의 이 子息(자식)은 頑惡(완악)하고 悖逆(패역)하여 우리 말을 順從(순종)치 아니하고 放蕩(방탕)하며 술에 잠긴 者(자)라 하거든
They shall say to the elders, "This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a profligate and a drunkard." And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard. |

ㅓ그 城邑(성읍)의 모든 사람들이 그를 돌로 쳐 죽일지니 이같이 네가 ㅕ너의 中(중)에 惡(악)을 除(제)하라
그리하면 ㅗ온 이스라엘이 듣고 두려워하리라
Then all the men of his town shall stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid. And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear. |

● 사람이 萬一(만일) 죽을 罪(죄)를 犯(범)하므로 네가 그를 죽여 나무 위에 달거든
If a man guilty of a capital offense is put to death and his body is hung on a tree, And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: |

ㅛ그 屍體(시체)를 나무 위에 밤새도록 두지 말고 當日(당일)에 葬事(장사)하여 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 基業(기업)으로 주시는
ㅜ땅을 더럽히지 말라 ㅠ나무에 달린 者(자)는 하나님께 詛呪(저주)를 받았음이니라
you must not leave his body on the tree overnight. Be sure to bury him that same day, because anyone who is hung on a tree is under God's curse. You must not desecrate the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance. His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance. |
