Hear, O Israel. You are now about to cross the Jordan to go in and dispossess nations greater and stronger than you, with large cities that have walls up to the sky. Hear, O Israel: Thou art to pass over Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than thyself, cities great and fenced up to heaven, |

ㅊ그 百姓(백성)은 네가 아는 바 長大(장대)한 ㅋ아낙 子孫(자손)이라 그에게 對(대)한 말을 네가 들었나니 이르기를 누가 아낙 子孫(자손)을 能(능)히 當(당)하리요 하거니와
The people are strong and tall--Anakites! You know about them and have heard it said: "Who can stand up against the Anakites?" A people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom thou knowest, and of whom thou hast heard say, Who can stand before the children of Anak! |

오늘날 너는 알라 네 하나님 여호와께서 ㅌ猛烈(맹렬)한 불과 같이 ㅍ네 앞에 나아가신즉 여호와께서 그들을 破(파)하사 네 앞에 엎드러지게 하시리니 여호와께서 네게 말씀하신 것 같이 ㅎ너는 그들을 쫓아내며 速(속)히 그들을 滅(멸)할 것이라
But be assured today that the LORD your God is the one who goes across ahead of you like a devouring fire. He will destroy them; he will subdue them before you. And you will drive them out and annihilate them quickly, as the LORD has promised you. Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee. |

네 하나님 여호와께서 그들을 네 앞에서 쫓아내신 後(후)에 ㅏ네가 心中(심중)에 이르기를 나의 義(의)로움을 因(인)하여 여호와께서 나를 이 땅으로 引導(인도)하여 들여서 그것을 얻게 하셨다 하지 말라 實狀(실상)은 ㅑ이 民族(민족)들이 惡(악)함을 因(인)하여 여호와께서 그들을 네 앞에서 쫓아내심이니라
After the LORD your God has driven them out before you, do not say to yourself, "The LORD has brought me here to take possession of this land because of my righteousness." No, it is on account of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD is going to drive them out before you. Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee. |

네가 가서 그 땅을 얻음은 ㅓ너의 義(의)로움을 因(인)함도 아니며 네 마음이 正直(정직)함을 因(인)함도 아니요 이 民族(민족)들의 惡(악)함을 因(인)하여 네 하나님 여호와께서 그들을 네 앞에서 쫓아내심이라 여호와께서 이같이 하심은 ㅕ네 列祖(열조) 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 하신 盟誓(맹세)를 이루려 하심이니라
It is not because of your righteousness or your integrity that you are going in to take possession of their land; but on account of the wickedness of these nations, the LORD your God will drive them out before you, to accomplish what he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. |

● 그러므로 네가 알 것은 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 이 아름다운 땅을 基業(기업)으로 주신 것이 네 義(의)로움을 因(인)함이 아니니라 너는 ㅗ목이 곧은 百姓(백성)이니라
Understand, then, that it is not because of your righteousness that the LORD your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a stiff-necked people. Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people. |

너는 曠野(광야)에서 네 하나님 여호와를 激怒(격노)케 하던 일을 잊지 말고 記憶(기억)하라 네가 ㅛ애굽 땅에서 나오던 날부터 이곳에 이르기까지 늘 여호와를 拒逆(거역)하였으되
Remember this and never forget how you provoked the LORD your God to anger in the desert. From the day you left Egypt until you arrived here, you have been rebellious against the LORD. Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD. |

ㅜ호렙山(산)에서 너희가 여호와를 激怒(격노)케 하였으므로 여호와께서 震怒(진노)하사 너희를 滅(멸)하려 하셨느니라
At Horeb you aroused the LORD'S wrath so that he was angry enough to destroy you. Also in Horeb ye provoked the LORD to wrath, so that the LORD was angry with you to have destroyed you. |

그 때에 내가 돌板(판)들 곧 ㅠ여호와께서 너희와 세우신 言約(언약)의 돌板(판)들을 받으려고 山(산)에 올라가서 으四十(사십) 晝夜(주야)를 山(산)에 居(거)하며 떡도 먹지 아니하고 물도 마시지 아니하였더니
When I went up on the mountain to receive the tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant that the LORD had made with you, I stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights; I ate no bread and drank no water. When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water: |

이여호와께서 두 돌板(판)을 내게 주셨나니 그 板(판)의 글은 하나님이 親手(친수)로 記錄(기록)하신 것이요 ㅐ너희 總會(총회) 날에 여호와께서 山上(산상) 불 가운데서 너희에게 이르신 모든 말씀이니라
The LORD gave me two stone tablets inscribed by the finger of God. On them were all the commandments the LORD proclaimed to you on the mountain out of the fire, on the day of the assembly. And the LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them was written according to all the words, which the LORD spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly. |

四十(사십) 晝夜(주야)가 지난 後(후)에 여호와께서 내게 돌板(판) 곧 言約(언약)의 두 돌板(판)을 주시고
At the end of the forty days and forty nights, the LORD gave me the two stone tablets, the tablets of the covenant. And it came to pass at the end of forty days and forty nights, that the LORD gave me the two tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant. |

내게 이르시되 ㄱ일어나 여기서 速(속)히 내려가라 네가 애굽에서 引導(인도)하여 낸 내 百姓(백성)이 스스로 腐敗(부패)하여 ㄴ내가 그들에게 命(명)한 道(도)를 速(속)히 떠나 自己(자기)를 爲(위)하여 偶像(우상)을 부어 만들었느니라
Then the LORD told me, "Go down from here at once, because your people whom you brought out of Egypt have become corrupt. They have turned away quickly from what I commanded them and have made a cast idol for themselves." And the LORD said unto me, Arise, get thee down quickly from hence; for thy people which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image. |

ㄷ여호와께서 또 내게 일러 가라사대 내가 이 百姓(백성)을 보았노라 보라 이는 목이 곧은 百姓(백성)이니라

ㄹ나를 막지 말라 내가 그들을 滅(멸)하여 ㅁ그 이름을 天下(천하)에서 塗抹(도말)하고 ㅂ너로 그들보다 强大(강대)한 나라가 되게 하리라 하시기로
Let me alone, so that I may destroy them and blot out their name from under heaven. And I will make you into a nation stronger and more numerous than they." Let me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of thee a nation mightier and greater than they. |

ㅅ내가 돌이켜 山(산)에서 내려 오는데 ㅇ山(산)에는 불이 붙었고 言約(언약)의 두 돌板(판)은 내 손에 있었느니라
So I turned and went down from the mountain while it was ablaze with fire. And the two tablets of the covenant were in my hands. So I turned and came down from the mount, and the mount burned with fire: and the two tables of the covenant were in my two hands. |

ㅈ내가 본즉 너희가 너희 하나님 여호와께 犯罪(범죄)하여 自己(자기)를 爲(위)하여 송아지를 부어 만들어서 急速(급속)히 여호와의 命(명)하신 道(도)를 떠났기로

When I looked, I saw that you had sinned against the LORD your God; you had made for yourselves an idol cast in the shape of a calf. You had turned aside quickly from the way that the LORD had commanded you. And I looked, and, behold, ye had sinned against the LORD your God, and had made you a molten calf: ye had turned aside quickly out of the way which the LORD had commanded you. |

내가 그 두 돌板(판)을 내 두 손에서 들어 던져 너희의 目前(목전)에서 깨뜨렸었노라
So I took the two tablets and threw them out of my hands, breaking them to pieces before your eyes. And I took the two tables, and cast them out of my two hands, and brake them before your eyes. |

그리고 ㅊ내가 前(전)과 같이 四十(사십) 晝夜(주야)를 ㅋ여호와 앞에 엎드려서 떡도 먹지 아니하고 물도 마시지 아니하였으니 이는 너희가 여호와의 目前(목전)에 ㅌ惡(악)을 行(행)하여 그를 激怒(격노)케 하여 크게 罪(죄)를 얻었음이라
Then once again I fell prostrate before the LORD for forty days and forty nights; I ate no bread and drank no water, because of all the sin you had committed, doing what was evil in the LORD'S sight and so provoking him to anger. And I fell down before the LORD, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger. |

여호와께서 甚(심)히 忿怒(분노)하사 너희를 滅(멸)하려 하셨으므로 내가 두려워 하였었노라 그러나 ㅍ여호와께서 그 때에도 내 말을 들으셨고
I feared the anger and wrath of the LORD, for he was angry enough with you to destroy you. But again the LORD listened to me. For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also. |
20 |
여호와께서 또 아론에게 震怒(진노)하사 그를 滅(멸)하려 하셨으므로 내가 그 때에도 아론을 爲(위)하여 祈禱(기도)하고
And the LORD was angry enough with Aaron to destroy him, but at that time I prayed for Aaron too. And the LORD was very angry with Aaron to have destroyed him: and I prayed for Aaron also the same time. |

ㅎ너희의 罪(죄) 곧 너희의 만든 송아지를 取(취)하여 불살라 찧고 티끌같이 가늘게 갈아 그 가루를 山(산)에서 흘러 내리는 시내에 뿌렸었느니라

Also I took that sinful thing of yours, the calf you had made, and burned it in the fire. Then I crushed it and ground it to powder as fine as dust and threw the dust into a stream that flowed down the mountain. And I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount. |

● 너희가 ㅏ다베라와 ㅑ맛사와 ㅓ기브롯 핫다아와에서도 여호와를 激怒(격노)케 하였느니라
You also made the LORD angry at Taberah, at Massah and at Kibroth Hattaavah. And at Taberah, and at Massah, and at Kibrothhattaavah, ye provoked the LORD to wrath. |

ㅕ여호와께서 너희를 가데스 바네아에서 떠나게 하실 때에 이르시기를 너희는 올라가서 내가 너희에게 준 땅을 얻으라 하시되 너희가 너희 하나님 여호와의 命令(명령)을 拒逆(거역)하여 ㅗ믿지 아니하고 그 말씀을 듣지 아니하였나니

And when the LORD sent you out from Kadesh Barnea, he said, "Go up and take possession of the land I have given you." But you rebelled against the command of the LORD your God. You did not trust him or obey him. Likewise when the LORD sent you from Kadeshbarnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then ye rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God, and ye believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice. |

내가 너희를 알던 날부터 옴으로 ㅛ너희가 恒常(항상) 여호와를 拒逆(거역)하였느니라
You have been rebellious against the LORD ever since I have known you. Ye have been rebellious against the LORD from the day that I knew you. |
25 |
● 그 때에 여호와께서 너희를 滅(멸)하겠다 하셨으므로 내가 如前(여전)히 四十(사십) 晝夜(주야)를 여호와 앞에 엎드리고
I lay prostrate before the LORD those forty days and forty nights because the LORD had said he would destroy you. Thus I fell down before the LORD forty days and forty nights, as I fell down at the first; because the LORD had said he would destroy you. |
26 |
ㅜ여호와께 懇求(간구)하여 가로되 主(주) 여호와여 主(주)께서 큰 威嚴(위엄)으로 屬(속)하시고 强(강)한 손으로 애굽에서 引導(인도)하여 내신 主(주)의 百姓(백성) 곧 主(주)의 基業(기업)을 滅(멸)하지 마옵소서
I prayed to the LORD and said, "O Sovereign LORD, do not destroy your people, your own inheritance that you redeemed by your great power and brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand. I prayed therefore unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, destroy not thy people and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand. |

主(주)의 종 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱을 생각하사 이 百姓(백성)의 剛愎(강퍅)과 惡(악)과 罪(죄)를 보지 마옵소서
Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Overlook the stubbornness of this people, their wickedness and their sin. Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin: |

主(주)께서 우리를 引導(인도)하여 내신 그 땅 百姓(백성)이 말하기를 ㅠ여호와께서 그들에게 許諾(허락)하신 땅으로 그들을 引導(인도)하여 들일 能力(능력)도 없고 그들을 미워도 하사 曠野(광야)에서 죽이려고 引導(인도)하여 내셨다 할까 두려워하나이다

Otherwise, the country from which you brought us will say, 'Because the LORD was not able to take them into the land he had promised them, and because he hated them, he brought them out to put them to death in the desert.' Lest the land whence thou broughtest us out say, Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them, and because he hated them, he hath brought them out to slay them in the wilderness. |

으그들은 主(주)의 큰 能力(능력)과 펴신 팔로 引導(인도)하여 내신 主(주)의 百姓(백성) 곧 主(주)의 基業(기업)이로소이다 하였었노라
But they are your people, your inheritance that you brought out by your great power and your outstretched arm." Yet they are thy people and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest out by thy mighty power and by thy stretched out arm. |
