그 때에 ㅠ블레셋 사람이 이스라엘을 쳐서 싸우려고 軍隊(군대)를 募集(모집)한지라 아기스가 다윗에게 이르되 너는 밝히 알라 너와 네 사람들이 나와 한 가지로 나가서 軍隊(군대)에 參加(참가)할 것이니라

In those days the Philistines gathered their forces to fight against Israel. Achish said to David, "You must understand that you and your men will accompany me in the army."

다윗이 아기스에게 이르되 그러면 當身(당신)이 종의 行(행)할 바를 아시리이다 아기스가 다윗에게 이르되 그러면 내가 너로 永永(영영)히 내 머리 지키는 者(자)를 삼으리라 하니라
David said, "Then you will see for yourself what your servant can do." Achish replied, "Very well, I will make you my bodyguard for life."

● 으사무엘이 죽었으므로 온 이스라엘이 그를 哀哭(애곡)하며 그의 本城(본성) 이라마에 葬事(장사)하였고 사울은 ㅐ神接(신접)한 者(자)와 박수를 그 땅에서 쫓아 내었었더라
Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had mourned for him and buried him in his own town of Ramah. Saul had expelled the mediums and spiritists from the land.

블레셋 사람이 모여 ㄱ수넴에 이르러 陣(진)치매 사울이 온 이스라엘을 모아 ㄴ길보아에 陣(진)쳤더니
The Philistines assembled and came and set up camp at Shunem, while Saul gathered all the Israelites and set up camp at Gilboa.

사울이 블레셋 사람의 軍隊(군대)를 보고 두려워서 그 마음이 크게 떨린지라
When Saul saw the Philistine army, he was afraid; terror filled his heart.

사울이 여호와께 묻자오되 여호와께서 ㄷ꿈으로도, ㄹ우림으로도, 先知者(선지자)로도 그에게 ㅁ對答(대답)지 아니하시므로
He inquired of the LORD, but the LORD did not answer him by dreams or Urim or prophets.

사울이 그 臣下(신하)들에게 이르되 나를 爲(위)하여 ㅂ神接(신접)한 女人(여인)을 찾으라 내가 그리로 가서 그에게 물으리라 그 臣下(신하)들이 그에게 이르되 보소서, ㅅ엔돌에 神接(신접)한 女人(여인)이 있나이다
Saul then said to his attendants, "Find me a woman who is a medium, so I may go and inquire of her." "There is one in Endor," they said.

● 사울이 다른 옷을 입어 ㅇ變裝(변장)하고 두 사람과 함께 갈새 그들이 밤에 그 女人(여인)에게 이르러는 사울이 가로되 請(청)하노니 나를 爲(위)하여 ㅈ神接(신접)한 術法(술법)으로 내가 네게 말하는 사람을 불러올리라
So Saul disguised himself, putting on other clothes, and at night he and two men went to the woman. "Consult a spirit for me," he said, "and bring up for me the one I name."

女人(여인)이 그에게 이르되 네가 사울의 行(행)한 일 곧 그가 神接(신접)한 者(자)와 박수를 이 땅에서 滅絶(멸절)시켰음을 아나니 네가 어찌하여 내 生命(생명)에 올무를 놓아 나를 죽게 하려느냐
But the woman said to him, "Surely you know what Saul has done. He has cut off the mediums and spiritists from the land. Why have you set a trap for my life to bring about my death?"

사울이 여호와로 그에게 盟誓(맹세)하여 가로되 ㅊ여호와께서 사시거니와 네가 이 일로는 罰(벌)을 當(당)치 아니하리라

Saul swore to her by the LORD, "As surely as the LORD lives, you will not be punished for this."

女人(여인)이 가로되 내가 누구를 네게로 불러 올리랴 사울이 가로되 사무엘을 불러 올리라
Then the woman asked, "Whom shall I bring up for you?" "Bring up Samuel," he said.

女人(여인)이 사무엘을 보고 큰 소리로 외치며 사울에게 말하여 가로되 當身(당신)이 어찌하여 나를 속이셨나이까 當身(당신)이 사울이시니이다
When the woman saw Samuel, she cried out at the top of her voice and said to Saul, "Why have you deceived me? You are Saul!"

王(왕)이 그에게 이르되 두려워 말라, 네가 무엇을 보았느냐 女人(여인)이 사울에게 이르되 내가 神(신)이 땅에서 올라오는 것을 보았나이다
The king said to her, "Don't be afraid. What do you see?" The woman said, "I see a spirit coming up out of the ground."

사울이 그에게 이르되 그 貌樣(모양)이 어떠하냐 그가 가로되 한 老人(노인)이 올라 오는데 그가 ㅋ겉옷을 입었나이다 사울이 그가 사무엘인줄 알고 그 얼굴을 땅에 대고 절하니라

What does he look like? he asked. "An old man wearing a robe is coming up," she said. Then Saul knew it was Samuel, and he bowed down and prostrated himself with his face to the ground.

● 사무엘이 사울에게 이르되 네가 어찌하여 나를 불러 올려서 나로 紛擾(분요)케 하느냐 사울이 對答(대답)하되 나는 甚(심)히 窘急(군급)하니이다 블레셋 사람은 나를 向(향)하여 軍隊(군대)를 일으켰고 ㅌ하나님은 나를 떠나서 다시는 先知者(선지자)로도, 꿈으로도 내게 ㅍ對答(대답)지 아니하시기로 나의 行(행)할 일을 배우려고 當身(당신)을 불러 올렸나이다
Samuel said to Saul, "Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?" "I am in great distress," Saul said. "The Philistines are fighting against me, and God has turned away from me. He no longer answers me, either by prophets or by dreams. So I have called on you to tell me what to do."

사무엘이 가로되 여호와께서 너를 떠나 네 對敵(대적)이 되셨거늘 네가 어찌하여 내게 묻느냐
Samuel said, "Why do you consult me, now that the LORD has turned away from you and become your enemy?

여호와께서 나로 말씀하신대로 네게 行(행)하사 ㅎ나라를 네 손에서 떼어 네 이웃 다윗에게 주셨느니라

The LORD has done what he predicted through me. The LORD has torn the kingdom out of your hands and given it to one of your neighbors--to David.

ㅏ네가 여호와의 목소리를 順從(순종)치 아니하고 그의 震怒(진노)를 아말렉에게 쏟지 아니하였으므로 여호와께서 오늘날 이 일을 네게 行(행)하셨고

Because you did not obey the LORD or carry out his fierce wrath against the Amalekites, the LORD has done this to you today.

여호와께서 이스라엘을 너와 함께 블레셋 사람의 손에 붙이시리니 來日(내일) 너와 ㅑ네 아들들이 나와 함께 있으리라 여호와께서 또 이스라엘 軍隊(군대)를 블레셋 사람의 손에 붙이시리라

삼상31:2
The LORD will hand over both Israel and you to the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons will be with me. The LORD will also hand over the army of Israel to the Philistines."

● 사울이 갑자기 땅에 穩全(온전)히 엎드러지니 이는 사무엘의 말을 因(인)하여 甚(심)히 두려워함이요 또 그 氣力(기력)이 盡(진)하였으니 이는 그가 終日(종일) 終夜(종야)에 植物(식물)을 먹지 못하였음이라
Immediately Saul fell full length on the ground, filled with fear because of Samuel's words. His strength was gone, for he had eaten nothing all that day and night.

그 女人(여인)이 사울에게 이르러 그 甚(심)히 苦痛(고통)함을 보고 그에게 이르되 女(여)종이 王(왕)의 말씀을 듣고 ㅓ나의 生命(생명)을 아끼지 아니하고 王(왕)이 내게 이르신 말씀을 聽從(청종)하였사오니

When the woman came to Saul and saw that he was greatly shaken, she said, "Look, your maidservant has obeyed you. I took my life in my hands and did what you told me to do.

그런즉 請(청)컨대 이제 女(여)종의 말을 들으사 나로 王(왕)의 앞에 한 조각떡을 드리게 하시고 王(왕)은 잡수시고 길 가실 때에 氣力(기력)을 얻으소서
Now please listen to your servant and let me give you some food so you may eat and have the strength to go on your way."

사울이 拒絶(거절)하여 가로되 내가 먹지 아니하겠노라 그 臣下(신하)들과 女人(여인)이 强勸(강권)하매 그 말을 듣고 땅에서 일어나 寢床(침상)에 앉으니라
He refused and said, "I will not eat." But his men joined the woman in urging him, and he listened to them. He got up from the ground and sat on the couch.

女人(여인)의 집에 살진 송아지가 있으므로 그것을 急(급)히 잡고 가루를 取(취)하여 뭉쳐 無酵餠(무교병)을 만들고 구워서
The woman had a fattened calf at the house, which she butchered at once. She took some flour, kneaded it and baked bread without yeast.

사울의 앞에 와 그 臣下(신하)들의 앞에 드리니 그들이 먹고 일어나서 그 밤에 가니라
Then she set it before Saul and his men, and they ate. That same night they got up and left.
