사울이 그아들 요나단과 그 모든 臣下(신하)에게 다윗을 죽이라 말하였더니 ㅕ사울의 아들 요나단이 다윗을 甚(심)히 기뻐하므로

Saul told his son Jonathan and all the attendants to kill David. But Jonathan was very fond of David And Saul spake to Jonathan his son, and to all his servants, that they should kill David. |

그가 다윗에게 告(고)하여 가로되 내 父親(부친) 사울이 너를 죽이기를 꾀하시느니라 그러므로 이제 請(청)하노니 아침에 操心(조심)하여 隱密(은밀)한 곳에 숨어 있으라
and warned him, "My father Saul is looking for a chance to kill you. Be on your guard tomorrow morning; go into hiding and stay there. But Jonathan Saul's son delighted much in David: and Jonathan told David, saying, Saul my father seeketh to kill thee: now therefore, I pray thee, take heed to thyself until the morning, and abide in a secret place, and hide thyself: |

내가 나가서 너 있는 들에서 내 父親(부친) 곁에 서서 네 일을 내 父親(부친)과 말하다가 무엇을 보거든 네게 알게 하리라 하고
I will go out and stand with my father in the field where you are. I'll speak to him about you and will tell you what I find out." And I will go out and stand beside my father in the field where thou art, and I will commune with my father of thee; and what I see, that I will tell thee. |

요나단이 그 아비 사울에게 다윗을 鋪裝(포장)하여 가로되 願(원)컨대 ㅗ王(왕)은 臣下(신하) 다윗에게 犯罪(범죄)치 마옵소서 그는 王(왕)께 得罪(득죄)하지
아니하였고 그가 王(왕)께 行(행)한 일은 甚(심)히 善(선)함이니이다

Jonathan spoke well of David to Saul his father and said to him, "Let not the king do wrong to his servant David; he has not wronged you, and what he has done has benefited you greatly. And Jonathan spake good of David unto Saul his father, and said unto him, Let not the king sin against his servant, against David; because he hath not sinned against thee, and because his works have been to thee-ward very good: |

ㅛ그가 自己(자기) 生命(생명)을 아끼지 아니하고 ㅜ블레셋 사람을 죽였고 ㅠ여호와께서는 온 이스라엘을 爲(위)하여 큰 救援(구원)을 이루셨으므로
王(왕)이 이를 보고 기뻐하셨거늘 어찌 無故(무고)히 다윗을 죽여 으無罪(무죄)한 피를 흘려 犯罪(범죄)하려 하시나이까
He took his life in his hands when he killed the Philistine. The LORD won a great victory for all Israel, and you saw it and were glad. Why then would you do wrong to an innocent man like David by killing him for no reason?" For he did put his life in his hand, and slew the Philistine, and the LORD wrought a great salvation for all Israel: thou sawest it, and didst rejoice: wherefore then wilt thou sin against innocent blood, to slay David without a cause? |

사울이 요나단의 말을 듣고 盟誓(맹세)하되 이여호와께서 사시거니와 그가 죽임을 當(당)치 아니하리라

Saul listened to Jonathan and took this oath: "As surely as the LORD lives, David will not be put to death." And Saul hearkened unto the voice of Jonathan: and Saul sware, As the LORD liveth, he shall not be slain. |

요나단이 다윗을 불러 그 모든 일을 알게 하고 그를 사울에게로 引導(인도)하니 그가 사울 앞에 ㅐ如前(여전)히 있으니라
So Jonathan called David and told him the whole conversation. He brought him to Saul, and David was with Saul as before. And Jonathan called David, and Jonathan shewed him all those things. And Jonathan brought David to Saul, and he was in his presence, as in times past. |

● 戰爭(전쟁)이 다시 있으므로 다윗이 나가서 블레셋 사람들과 싸워 그들을 크게 屠戮(도륙)하매 그들이 그 앞에서 逃亡(도망)하니라
Once more war broke out, and David went out and fought the Philistines. He struck them with such force that they fled before him. And there was war again: and David went out, and fought with the Philistines, and slew them with a great slaughter; and they fled from him. |

사울이 손에 短槍(단창)을 가지고 그 집에 앉았을 때에 여호와의 부리신 ㄱ惡神(악신)이 사울에게 接(접)하였으므로 ㄴ다윗이
손으로 竪琴(수금)을 탈 때에
But an evil spirit from the LORD came upon Saul as he was sitting in his house with his spear in his hand. While David was playing the harp, And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand. |

ㄷ사울이 短槍(단창)으로 다윗을 璧(벽)에 박으려 하였으나 그는 사울의 앞을 避(피)하고 사울의 槍(창)은 璧(벽)에 박힌지라 다윗이 그 밤에 逃避(도피)하매
Saul tried to pin him to the wall with his spear, but David eluded him as Saul drove the spear into the wall. That night David made good his escape. And Saul sought to smite David even to the wall with the javelin; but he slipped away out of Saul's presence, and he smote the javelin into the wall: and David fled, and escaped that night. |

ㄹ사울이 使者(사자)들을 다윗의 집에 보내어 그를 지키다가 아침에 그를 죽이게 하려 한지라 다윗의 아내 미갈이 다윗에게 일러 가로되 當身(당신)이 이 밤에
當身(당신)의 生命(생명)을 求(구)하지 아니하면 來日(내일)에는 죽임을 當(당)하리라 하고

Saul sent men to David's house to watch it and to kill him in the morning. But Michal, David's wife, warned him, "If you don't run for your life tonight, tomorrow you'll be killed." Saul also sent messengers unto David's house, to watch him, and to slay him in the morning: and Michal David's wife told him, saying, If thou save not thy life to night, to morrow thou shalt be slain. |

미갈이 다윗을 ㅁ窓(창)에서 달아 내리우매 그가 逃亡(도망)하여 避(피)하니라
So Michal let David down through a window, and he fled and escaped. So Michal let David down through a window: and he went, and fled, and escaped. |

미갈이 ㅂ偶像(우상)을 取(취)하여 寢床(침상)에 뉘고 염소털로 엮은 것을 그 머리에 씌우고 衣服(의복)으로 그것을 덮었더니

Then Michal took an idol and laid it on the bed, covering it with a garment and putting some goats' hair at the head. And Michal took an image, and laid it in the bed, and put a pillow of goats' hair for his bolster, and covered it with a cloth. |

사울이 使者(사자)들을 보내어 다윗을 잡으려 하매 미갈이 가로되 그가 病(병)들었느니라
When Saul sent the men to capture David, Michal said, "He is ill." And when Saul sent messengers to take David, she said, He is sick. |
15 |
사울이 또 使者(사자)들을 보내어 다윗을 보라 하며 이르되 그를 寢床(침상)채 내게로 가져오라 내가 그를 죽이리라
Then Saul sent the men back to see David and told them, "Bring him up to me in his bed so that I may kill him." And Saul sent the messengers again to see David, saying, Bring him up to me in the bed, that I may slay him. |

使者(사자)들이 들어가 본즉 寢床(침상)에 偶像(우상)이 있고 염소털로 엮은 것이 그 머리에 있었더라
But when the men entered, there was the idol in the bed, and at the head was some goats' hair. And when the messengers were come in, behold, there was an image in the bed, with a pillow of goats' hair for his bolster. |

사울이 미갈에게 이르되 너는 어찌하여 이처럼 나를 속여 내 對敵(대적)을 놓아 避(피)하게 하였느냐 미갈이 사울에게 對答(대답)하되 그가 내게 이르기를 나를 놓아 가게 하라 ㅅ어찌하여
나로 너를 죽이게 하겠느냐 하더이다 하니라

Saul said to Michal, "Why did you deceive me like this and send my enemy away so that he escaped?" Michal told him, "He said to me, 'Let me get away. Why should I kill you?'" And Saul said unto Michal, Why hast thou deceived me so, and sent away mine enemy, that he is escaped? And Michal answered Saul, He said unto me, Let me go; why should I kill thee? |

● 다윗이 逃避(도피)하여 ㅇ라마로 가서 사무엘에게로 나아가서 사울이 自己(자기)에게 行(행)한 일을 다 告(고)하였고 다윗과 사무엘이 나욧으로 가서 居(거)하였더라

When David had fled and made his escape, he went to Samuel at Ramah and told him all that Saul had done to him. Then he and Samuel went to Naioth and stayed there. So David fled, and escaped, and came to Samuel to Ramah, and told him all that Saul had done to him. And he and Samuel went and dwelt in Naioth. |

或(혹)이 사울에게 告(고)하여 가로되 다윗이 라마 나욧에 있더이다 하매
Word came to Saul: "David is in Naioth at Ramah"; And it was told Saul, saying, Behold, David is at Naioth in Ramah. |

사울이 다윗을 잡으려 使者(사자)들을 보내었더니 그들이 先知者(선지자) 무리의 豫言(예언)하는 것과 사무엘이 그들의 首領(수령)으로 선 것을 볼 때에
ㅈ하나님의 神(신)이 사울의 使者(사자)들에게 臨(임)하매 ㅊ그들도 豫言(예언)을 한지라
so he sent men to capture him. But when they saw a group of prophets prophesying, with Samuel standing there as their leader, the Spirit of God came upon Saul's men and they also prophesied. And Saul sent messengers to take David: and when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as appointed over them, the Spirit of God was upon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied. |

或(혹)이 그것을 사울에게 告(고)하매 사울이 다른 使者(사자)들을 보내었더니 그들도 豫言(예언)을 한 故(고)로 사울이 세 番(번)째 다시 使者(사자)들을 보내었더니 그들도 豫言(예언)을 한지라
Saul was told about it, and he sent more men, and they prophesied too. Saul sent men a third time, and they also prophesied. And when it was told Saul, he sent other messengers, and they prophesied likewise. And Saul sent messengers again the third time, and they prophesied also. |

이에 사울도 라마로 가서 세구에 있는 큰 우물에 이르러 물어 가로되 사무엘과 다윗이 어디 있느냐 或(혹)이 가로되 라마 나욧에 있나이다
Finally, he himself left for Ramah and went to the great cistern at Secu. And he asked, "Where are Samuel and David?" "Over in Naioth at Ramah," they said. Then went he also to Ramah, and came to a great well that is in Sechu: and he asked and said, Where are Samuel and David? And one said, Behold, they be at Naioth in Ramah. |

사울이 라마 나욧으로 가니라 하나님의 神(신)이 그에게도 臨(임)하시니 그가 라마 나욧에 이르기까지 行(행)하며 ㅋ豫言(예언)을 하였으며

So Saul went to Naioth at Ramah. But the Spirit of God came even upon him, and he walked along prophesying until he came to Naioth. And he went thither to Naioth in Ramah: and the Spirit of God was upon him also, and he went on, and prophesied, until he came to Naioth in Ramah. |

그가 또 ㅌ그 옷을 벗고 사무엘 앞에서 豫言(예언)을 하며 終日(종일) 終夜(종야)에 벌거벗은 몸으로 누웠었더라 그러므로 俗談(속담)에 이르기를 ㅍ사울도
先知者(선지자) 中(중)에 있느냐 하니라
He stripped off his robes and also prophesied in Samuel's presence. He lay that way all that day and night. This is why people say, "Is Saul also among the prophets?" And he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Wherefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets? |
