ㅏ요시야의 아들 시드기야가 여호야김의 아들 ㅑ고니야를 代身(대신)하여 王(왕)이 되었으니 이는 바벨론 王(왕) 느부갓네살이
ㅓ그로 유다 땅의 王(왕)을 삼음이었더라
Zedekiah son of Josiah was made king of Judah by Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; he reigned in place of Jehoiachin son of Jehoiakim. And king Zedekiah the son of Josiah reigned instead of Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, whom Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon made king in the land of Judah. |

ㅕ그와 그 臣下(신하)와 그 땅 百姓(백성)이 여호와께서 先知者(선지자) 예레미야로 하신 말씀을 듣지 아니하니라
Neither he nor his attendants nor the people of the land paid any attention to the words the LORD had spoken through Jeremiah the prophet. But neither he, nor his servants, nor the people of the land, did hearken unto the words of the LORD, which he spake by the prophet Jeremiah. |

● 시드기야王(왕)이 ㅗ셀레먀의 아들 ㅛ여후갈과 ㅜ마아세야의 아들 祭司長(제사장) ㅠ스바냐를 先知者(선지자) 예레미야에게
보내어 請(청)하되 너는 우리를 爲(위)하여 으우리 하나님 여호와께 祈禱(기도)하라 하였으니
King Zedekiah, however, sent Jehucal son of Shelemiah with the priest Zephaniah son of Maaseiah to Jeremiah the prophet with this message: "Please pray to the LORD our God for us." And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now unto the LORD our God for us. |

이때에 예레미야가 ㅐ갇히지 아니하였으므로 百姓(백성) 가운데 出入(출입)하는 中(중)이었더라
Now Jeremiah was free to come and go among the people, for he had not yet been put in prison. Now Jeremiah came in and went out among the people: for they had not put him into prison. |

ㄱ바로의 軍隊(군대)가 애굽에서 나오매 예루살렘을 에워쌌던 ㄴ갈대아人(인)이 그 所聞(소문)을 듣고 ㄷ예루살렘에서 떠났더라
Pharaoh's army had marched out of Egypt, and when the Babylonians who were besieging Jerusalem heard the report about them, they withdrew from Jerusalem. Then Pharaoh's army was come forth out of Egypt: and when the Chaldeans that besieged Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they departed from Jerusalem. |

● 여호와의 말씀이 先知者(선지자) 예레미야에게 臨(임)하여 가라사대
Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet: Then came the word of the LORD unto the prophet Jeremiah, saying, |

이스라엘의 하나님 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 너희를 보내어 내게 求(구)하게 한 유다 王(왕)에게 이르라 너희를 도우려고 나왔던 ㄹ바로의 軍隊(군대)는
ㅁ自己(자기) 땅 애굽으로 돌아가겠고
This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: Tell the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of me, 'Pharaoh's army, which has marched out to support you, will go back to its own land, to Egypt. Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to enquire of me; Behold, Pharaoh's army, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land. |

ㅂ갈대아人(인)이 다시 와서 이 城(성)을 쳐서 取(취)하여 불사르리라

Then the Babylonians will return and attack this city; they will capture it and burn it down.' And the Chaldeans shall come again, and fight against this city, and take it, and burn it with fire. |

나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 너희는 스스로 속여 말하기를 갈대아人(인)이 반드시 우리를 떠나리라 하지 말라 그들이 떠나지 아니하리라
This is what the LORD says: Do not deceive yourselves, thinking, 'The Babylonians will surely leave us.' They will not! Thus saith the LORD; Deceive not yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us: for they shall not depart. |

假令(가령) ㅅ너희가 너희를 치는 갈대아人(인)의 온 軍隊(군대)를 쳐서 그 中(중)에 ㅇ負傷者(부상자)만 남긴다 할찌라도 그들이 各其(각기) 帳幕(장막)에서 일어나 이 城(성)을 불사르리라
Even if you were to defeat the entire Babylonian army that is attacking you and only wounded men were left in their tents, they would come out and burn this city down." For though ye had smitten the whole army of the Chaldeans that fight against you, and there remained but wounded men among them, yet should they rise up every man in his tent, and burn this city with fire. |

예레미야가 ㅊ베냐민 땅에서 ㅋ百姓(백성) 中(중) ㅌ분깃을 받으려고
예루살렘을 떠나 그리로 가려 하여
Jeremiah started to leave the city to go to the territory of Benjamin to get his share of the property among the people there. Then Jeremiah went forth out of Jerusalem to go into the land of Benjamin, to separate himself thence in the midst of the people. |

ㅍ베냐민 門(문)에 이른즉 하나냐의 孫子(손자)요 ㅎ셀레먀의 아들인 이리야라 이름하는 門(문)지기의 頭目(두목)이 先知者(선지자) 예레미야를 붙잡아 가로되
ㅏ네가 갈대아人(인)에게 降服(항복)하려 하는도다
But when he reached the Benjamin Gate, the captain of the guard, whose name was Irijah son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah, arrested him and said, "You are deserting to the Babylonians!" And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a captain of the ward was there, whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he took Jeremiah the prophet, saying, Thou fallest away to the Chaldeans. |

That's not true! Jeremiah said. "I am not deserting to the Babylonians." But Irijah would not listen to him; instead, he arrested Jeremiah and brought him to the officials. Then said Jeremiah, It is false; I fall not away to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him: so Irijah took Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes. |

시드기야王(왕)이 보내어 그를 이끌어 내고 ㅗ王宮(왕궁)에서 그에게 秘密(비밀)히 물어 가로되 여호와께로서 받은 말씀이 있느뇨 예레미야가 對答(대답)하되 있나이다 또 가로되
ㅛ王(왕)이 바벨론 王(왕)의 손에 붙임을 입으리이다
Then King Zedekiah sent for him and had him brought to the palace, where he asked him privately, "Is there any word from the LORD?" "Yes," Jeremiah replied, "you will be handed over to the king of Babylon." Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from the LORD? And Jeremiah said, There is: for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon. |

예레미야가 다시 시드기야 王(왕)에게 이르되 내가 王(왕)에게나 王(왕)의 臣下(신하)에게나 이 百姓(백성)에게 무슨 罪(죄)를 犯(범)하였관대 나를 獄(옥)에 가두었나이까
Then Jeremiah said to King Zedekiah, "What crime have I committed against you or your officials or this people, that you have put me in prison? Moreover Jeremiah said unto king Zedekiah, What have I offended against thee, or against thy servants, or against this people, that ye have put me in prison? |

ㅜ바벨론 王(왕)이 와서 王(왕)과 이 땅을 치지 아니하리라고 豫言(예언)한 王(왕)의 先知者(선지자)들이 이제 어디있나이까
Where are your prophets who prophesied to you, 'The king of Babylon will not attack you or this land'? Where are now your prophets which prophesied unto you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land? |

내 主(주) 王(왕)이여 이제 請(청)컨대 나를 들으시며 나의 歎願(탄원)을 받으사 ㅠ나를 書記官(서기관) 요나단의 집으로 돌려 보내지 마옵소서 내가 거기서 죽을까 두려워하나이다

But now, my lord the king, please listen. Let me bring my petition before you: Do not send me back to the house of Jonathan the secretary, or I will die there." Therefore hear now, I pray thee, O my lord the king: let my supplication, I pray thee, be accepted before thee; that thou cause me not to return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there. |

이에 시드기야 王(왕)이 命(명)하여 예레미야를 으侍衛隊(시위대) 뜰에 두고 떡 만드는 者(자)의 거리에서 每日(매일) 떡 한덩이씩 그에게 주게 하매 이城中(성중)에
떡이 다할 때까지 이르니라 ㅐ예레미야가 侍衛隊(시위대) 뜰에 머무니라
King Zedekiah then gave orders for Jeremiah to be placed in the courtyard of the guard and given bread from the street of the bakers each day until all the bread in the city was gone. So Jeremiah remained in the courtyard of the guard. Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison. |
