1 내가 보매 어린 羊(양)일곱 印(인) 中(중)에 하나를 떼시는 그 때에 내가 들으니 네 生物(생물) 中(중)에 하나가 雨雷(우뢰) 소리같이 말하되 오라 하기로

I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, "Come!"

And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

2 내가 이에 보니 흰 말이 있는데 그 탄 者(자)가 활을 가졌고 冕旒冠(면류관)을 받고 나가서 이기고 또 이기려고 하더라

I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

3 ● 둘째 印(인)을 떼실 때에 내가 들으니 둘째 生物(생물)이 말하되 오라 하더니

When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!"

And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.

4 이에 붉은 다른 말이 나오더라 그 탄 者(자)가 許諾(허락)을 받아 땅에서 和平(화평)을 除(제)하여 버리며 서로 죽이게 하고 또 큰 칼을 받았더라

Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.

And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

5 ● 세째 印(인)을 떼실 때에 내가 들으니 세째 生物(생물)이 말하되 오라 하기로 내가 보니 검은 말이 나오는데 그 탄 者(자)가 손에 저울을 가졌더라

When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand.

And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

6 내가 네 生物(생물) 사이로서 나는 듯하는 音聲(음성)을 들으니 가로되 1)데나리온에 밀 한 되요 한 1)데나리온에 보리 석 되로다 또 橄欖油(감람유)와 葡萄酒(포도주)는 害(해)치 말라 하더라

Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a day's wages, and three quarts of barley for a day's wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!"

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

7 ● 네째 印(인)을 떼실 때에 내가 네째 生物(생물)의 音聲(음성)을 들으니 가로되 오라 하기로

When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come!"

And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

8 내가 보매 靑黃色(청황색) 말이 나오는데 그 탄 者(자)의 이름은 死亡(사망)이니 陰府(음부)가 그 뒤를 따르더라 저희가 땅 四分(사분) 一(일)의 權勢(권세)를 얻어 劍(검)과 凶年(흉년)과 死亡(사망)땅의 짐승으로써 죽이더라

I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

9 ● 다섯째 印(인)을 떼실 때에 내가 보니 하나님의 말씀저희의 가진 證據(증거)를 因(인)하여 죽임을 當(당)한 靈魂(영혼)들이 祭壇(제단) 아래 있어

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained.

And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

10 큰 소리로 불러 가로되 거룩하고 참되신 大主宰(대주재)여 땅에 居(거)하는 者(자)들을 審判(심판)하여 우리 피를 伸寃(신원)하여 주지 아니하시기를 어느 때까지 하시려나이까 하니

They called out in a loud voice, "How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?"

And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

11 各各(각각) 저희에게 흰 두루마기를 주시며 가라사대 아직 暫時(잠시) 동안 쉬되 저희 동무 종들과 兄弟(형제)들도 自己(자기)처럼 죽임을 받아 그 數(수)가 차기까지 하라 하시더라

Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed as they had been was completed.

And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

12 ● 내가 보니 여섯째 印(인)을 떼실 때에 큰 地震(지진)이 나며 해가 驄毯(총담)같이 검어지고 온 달이 피같이 되며

I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red,

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

13 하늘의 별들이 無花果(무화과) 나무가 大風(대풍)에 흔들려 선 果實(과실)이 떨어지는 것같이 땅에 떨어지며

and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind.

And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

14 하늘은 종이 軸(축)이 말리는 것같이 떠나가고 各(각) 山(산)과 섬이 제 자리에서 옮기우매

The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

15 땅의 임금들과 王族(왕족)들과 將軍(장군)들과 富者(부자)들과 强(강)한 者(자)들과 各(각) 종과 自主者(자주자)가 窟(굴)과 山(산) 바위 틈에 숨어

Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains.

And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16 山(산)과 바위에게 이르되 우리 위에 떨어져 寶座(보좌)에 앉으신 이의 낯에서와 어린 羊(양)의 震怒(진노)에서 우리를 가리우라

They called to the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17 그들의 震怒(진노)의 큰 날이 이르렀으니 누가 能(능)히 서리요 하더라

For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?"

For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
