다섯째 天使(천사)가 나팔을 불매 ㄹ내가 보니 하늘에서 땅에 떨어진 별 하나가 있는데 저가 ㅁ無底坑(무저갱)의 ㅂ열쇠를 받았더라
The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. |

저가 無底坑(무저갱)을 여니 그 구멍에서 큰 풀무의 煙氣(연기) 같은 ㅅ煙氣(연기)가 올라오매 ㅇ해와 空氣(공기)가 그 구멍의 煙氣(연기)로
因(인)하여 어두워지며
When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. |

또 ㅈ蝗蟲(황충)이 煙氣(연기) 가운데로부터 땅위에 나오매 저희가 땅에 있는 全蝎(전갈)의 權勢(권세)와 같은 權勢(권세)를 받았더라

And out of the smoke locusts came down upon the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. |

저희에게 이르시되 ㅊ땅의 풀이나 푸른 것이나 各種(각종) 樹木(수목)은 ㅋ害(해)하지 말고 오직 ㅌ이마에 하나님의 印(인) 맞지 아니한 사람들만
害(해)하라 하시더라
They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. |

그러나 그들을 죽이지는 못하게 하시고 ㅍ다섯 달 동안 괴롭게만 하게 하시는데 그 괴롭게 함은 全蝎(전갈)이 사람을 쏠 때에 괴롭게 함과 같더라

They were not given power to kill them, but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes a man. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. |

그 날에는 ㅎ사람들이 죽기를 求(구)하여도 얻지 못하고 죽고 싶으나 죽음이 저희를 避(피)하리로다
During those days men will seek death, but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. |

ㅏ蝗蟲(황충)들의 貌樣(모양)은 戰爭(전쟁)을 爲(위)하여 豫備(예비)한 말들 같고 ㅑ그 머리에 金(금) 같은 冕旒冠(면류관) 비슷한
것을 썼으며 그 얼굴은 ㅓ사람의 얼굴 같고
The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces. And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. |

또 女子(여자)의 머리털 같은 머리털이 있고 ㅕ그 이는 獅子(사자)의 이 같으며

Their hair was like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth. And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. |

또 鐵胸甲(철흉갑) 같은 胸甲(흉갑)이 있고 그 날개들의 소리는 兵車(병거)와 ㅗ많은 말들이 戰場(전장)으로 달려 들어가는 ㅛ소리 같으며
They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. |

또 全蝎(전갈)과 같은 꼬리와 쏘는 살이 있어 그 꼬리에는 ㅜ다섯 달 동안 사람들을 害(해)하는 權勢(권세)가 있더라

They had tails and stings like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months. And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. |

저희에게 ㅠ임금이 있으니 無底坑(무저갱)의 使者(사자)라 히브리 音(음)으로 이름은 으아바돈이요 헬라 音(음)으로
이름은 아볼루온이더라
They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon. And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. |

● 이첫째 禍(화)는 지나갔으나 보라 아직도 이 後(후)에 禍(화) 둘이 이르리로다
The first woe is past; two other woes are yet to come. One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter. |

● 여섯째 天使(천사)가 나팔을 불매 내가 들으니 하나님 앞 ㅐ金壇(금단) 네 뿔에서 한 音聲(음성)이 나서

나팔
가진 여섯째 天使(천사)에게 말하기를 ㄱ큰 江(강) 유브라데에 結縛(결박)한 ㄴ네 天使(천사)를 놓아 주라 하매
It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates." Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. |

네 天使(천사)가 놓였으니 그들은 그 年(년), 月(월), 日(일), 時(시)에 이르러 ㄷ사람 三分(삼분)의 一(일)을 죽이기로 豫備(예비)한 者(자)들이더라

And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. |

ㄹ馬兵隊(마병대)의 數(수)는 ㅁ二萬萬(이만만)이니 ㅂ내가 그들의 數(수)를 들었노라
The number of the mounted troops was two hundred million. I heard their number. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. |

이같이 異常(이상)한 가운데 그 말들과 그 탄 者(자)들을 보니 불빛과 紫朱(자주)빛과 硫黃(유황)빛 胸甲(흉갑)이 있고 또 말들의 머리는
ㅅ獅子(사자) 머리 같고 그 입에서는 불과 煙氣(연기)와 硫黃(유황)이 나오더라
The horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like this: Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur. The heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, smoke and sulfur. And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. |

이 세 災殃(재앙) 곧 저희 입에서 나오는 불과 煙氣(연기)와 硫黃(유황)을 因(인)하여 사람 三分(삼분)의 一(일)이 죽임을 當(당)하니라
A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. |

이 말들의 힘은 그 입과 그 꼬리에 있으니 그 꼬리는 뱀 같고 또 꼬리에 머리가 있어 이것으로 害(해)하더라
The power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury. For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt. |
20 |
이 災殃(재앙)에 죽지 않고 남은 사람들은 ㅇ그 손으로 行(행)하는 일을 ㅈ悔改(회개)치 아니하고 오히려 ㅊ여러 鬼神(귀신)과
또는 보거나 듣거나 다니거나 하지 못하는 金(금), 銀(은), 銅(동)과 木(목), 石(석)의 ㅋ偶像(우상)에게 절하고
The rest of mankind that were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood--idols that cannot see or hear or walk. And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: |

또 그 殺人(살인)과 ㅌ卜術(복술)과 淫行(음행)과 盜賊(도적)질을 悔改(회개)치 아니하더라
Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts. Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. |
