1 여호와여 報酬(보수)하시는 하나님이여 報酬(보수)하시는 하나님이여 빛을 비취소서

O LORD, the God who avenges, O God who avenges, shine forth.

O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.

2 世界(세계)를 判斷(판단)하시는 主(주)여 일어나사 驕慢(교만)한 者(자)에게 相當(상당)한 刑罰(형벌)을 주소서

Rise up, O Judge of the earth; pay back to the proud what they deserve.

Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.

3 여호와여 惡人(악인)이 언제까지, 惡人(악인)이 언제까지 凱歌(개가)를 부르리이까

How long will the wicked, O LORD, how long will the wicked be jubilant?

LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?

4 저희가 지껄이며 傲慢(오만)히 말을 하오며 罪惡(죄악)을 行(행)하는 者(자)가 다 自矜(자긍)하나이다

They pour out arrogant words; all the evildoers are full of boasting.

How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

5 여호와여 저희가 主(주)의 百姓(백성)을 破碎(파쇄)하며 主(주)의 基業(기업)困苦(곤고)케 하며

They crush your people, O LORD; they oppress your inheritance.

They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.

6 寡婦(과부)와 나그네를 죽이며 孤兒(고아)를 殺害(살해)하며

They slay the widow and the alien; they murder the fatherless.

They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

7 말하기를 여호와가 보지 못하며 야곱의 하나님이 생각지 못하리라 하나이다

They say, "The LORD does not see; the God of Jacob pays no heed."

Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

8 百姓(백성) 中(중) 愚蠢(우준)한 者(자)들아 너희는 생각하라 無知(무지)한 者(자)들아 너희가 언제나 智慧(지혜)로울꼬

Take heed, you senseless ones among the people; you fools, when will you become wise?

Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?

9 귀를 1) 지으신 者(자)가 듣지 아니하시랴 눈을 만드신 者(자)가 보지 아니하시랴
출4:11 잠20:12     1) 심으신 자가

Does he who implanted the ear not hear? Does he who formed the eye not see?

He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

10 列邦(열방)을 懲罰(징벌)하시는 者(자) 곧 知識(지식)으로 사람을 敎訓(교훈)하시는 者(자)가 懲治(징치)하지 아니하시랴

Does he who disciplines nations not punish? Does he who teaches man lack knowledge?

He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?

11 여호와께서 사람의 생각이 虛無(허무)함을 아시느니라

The LORD knows the thoughts of man; he knows that they are futile.

The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

12 여호와여 主(주)의 懲罰(징벌)을 當(당)하며 主(주)의 法(법)으로 敎訓(교훈)하심을 받는 者(자)가 福(복)이 있나니

Blessed is the man you discipline, O LORD, the man you teach from your law;

Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;

13 이런 사람에게는 患難(환난)의 날에 벗어나게 하사 惡人(악인)을 爲(위)하여 구덩이를 팔 때까지 平安(평안)을 주시리이다

you grant him relief from days of trouble, till a pit is dug for the wicked.

That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

14 여호와께서는 그 百姓(백성)을 버리지 아니하시며 그 基業(기업)을 떠나지 아니하시리로다

For the LORD will not reject his people; he will never forsake his inheritance.

For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

15 判斷(판단)이 義(의)로 돌아가리니 마음이 正直(정직)한 者(자)가 다 좇으리로다

Judgment will again be founded on righteousness, and all the upright in heart will follow it.

But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

16 누가 나를 爲(위)하여 일어나서 行惡者(행악자)를 치며 누가 나를 爲(위)하여 일어서서 罪惡(죄악) 行(행)하는 者(자)를 칠꼬

Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?

Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

17 여호와께서 내게 도움이 되지 아니하셨더면 내 魂(혼)이 2)벌써 寂寞(적막) 中(중)에 處(처)하였으리로다

Unless the LORD had given me help, I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death.

Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

18 여호와여 나의 발이 미끄러진다 말할 때에 主(주)의 仁慈(인자)하심이 나를 붙드셨사오며

When I said, "My foot is slipping," your love, O LORD, supported me.

When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.

19 내 속에 생각이 많을 때에 主(주)의 慰安(위안)이 내 靈魂(영혼)을 즐겁게 하시나이다

When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.

In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

20 律例(율례)憑藉(빙자)하고 殘骸(잔해)圖謀(도모)하는 3)惡(악)한 裁判長(재판장)이 어찌 主(주)와 交際(교제)하리이까

Can a corrupt throne be allied with you--one that brings on misery by its decrees?

Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?

21 저희가 모여 義人(의인)의 靈魂(영혼)을 치려 하며 無罪者(무죄자)를 定罪(정죄)하여 피를 흘리려 하나

They band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death.

They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

22 여호와는 나의 山城(산성)이시요 나의 하나님은 나의 避(피)할 磐石(반석)이시라

But the LORD has become my fortress, and my God the rock in whom I take refuge.

But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

23 저희 罪惡(죄악)을 저희에게 돌리시며 저희의 惡(악)을 因(인)하여 저희를 끊으시리니 여호와 우리 하나님이 저희를 끊으시리로다

He will repay them for their sins and destroy them for their wickedness; the LORD our God will destroy them.

And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
