ㅂ산 염소가 새끼 치는 때를 네가 아느냐 ㅅ암사슴의 새끼 낳을 期限(기한)을 네가 알 수 있느냐
Do you know when the mountain goats give birth? Do you watch when the doe bears her fawn? Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve? |

그것이 몇 달만에 滿朔(만삭)되는지 아느냐 그 낳을 때를 아느냐
Do you count the months till they bear? Do you know the time they give birth? Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth? |

Their young thrive and grow strong in the wilds; they leave and do not return. Their young ones are in good liking, they grow up with corn; they go forth, and return not unto them. |

● 누가 들나귀를 놓아 自由(자유)하게 하였느냐 누가 ㅊ빠른 나귀의 매인 것을 풀었느냐
Who let the wild donkey go free? Who untied his ropes? Who hath sent out the wild ass free? or who hath loosed the bands of the wild ass? |

내가 ㅋ들로 그 집을, ㅌ짠 땅으로 그 사는 處所(처소)를 삼았느니라
I gave him the wasteland as his home, the salt flats as his habitat. Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwellings. |

들나귀는 城邑(성읍)의 지꺼리는 것을 업신여기니 ㅍ馭拒(어거)하는 者(자)의 지르는 소리가 그것에게 들리지 아니하며

He laughs at the commotion in the town; he does not hear a driver's shout. He scorneth the multitude of the city, neither regardeth he the crying of the driver. |

草場(초장)이 된 山(산)으로 두루 다니며 여러 가지 푸른 것을 찾느니라
He ranges the hills for his pasture and searches for any green thing. The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing. |

ㅎ들소가 어찌 즐겨 네게 服從(복종)하며 ㅏ네 외양간에 머물겠느냐
Will the wild ox consent to serve you? Will he stay by your manger at night? Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib? |

네가 能(능)히 줄로 들소를 매어 이랑을 갈게 하겠느냐 그것이 어찌 골짜기에서 너를 따라 쓰레를 끌겠느냐
Can you hold him to the furrow with a harness? Will he till the valleys behind you? Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee? |

그것의 힘이 많다고 네가 그것을 依支(의지)하겠느냐 네 受苦(수고)하는 일을 그것에게 맡기겠느냐
Will you rely on him for his great strength? Will you leave your heavy work to him? Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him? |

그것이 네 穀食(곡식)을 집으로 실어오며 네 打作(타작) 마당에 穀食(곡식) 모으기를 그것에게 依託(의탁)하겠느냐
Can you trust him to bring in your grain and gather it to your threshing floor? Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn? |

● 駝鳥(타조)는 즐거이 그 날개를 친다마는 그 깃과 털이 仁慈(인자)를 베푸느냐
The wings of the ostrich flap joyfully, but they cannot compare with the pinions and feathers of the stork. Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich? |

그것이 알을 땅에 버려두어 모래에서 더워지게 하고
She lays her eggs on the ground and lets them warm in the sand, Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust, |
15 |
발에 깨어질 것이나 들짐승에게 밟힐 것을 생각지 아니하고
unmindful that a foot may crush them, that some wild animal may trample them. And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them. |
16 |
그 ㅑ새끼에게 無情(무정)함이 제 새끼가 아닌 것처럼 하며 그 ㅓ구로한
것이 헛되게 될찌라도 掛念(괘념)치 아니하나니
She treats her young harshly, as if they were not hers; she cares not that her labor was in vain, She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear; |

이는 하나님 내가 智慧(지혜)를 稟賦(품부)하지 아니하고 ㅕ聰明(총명)을 주지 아니함이니라

for God did not endow her with wisdom or give her a share of good sense. Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding. |

그러나 그 몸을 떨쳐 뛰어갈 때에는 말과 그 탄 者(자)를 輕(경)히 여기느니라
Yet when she spreads her feathers to run, she laughs at horse and rider. What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider. |

● 말의 힘을 네가 주었느냐 그 목에 흩날리는 갈기를 네가 입혔느냐
Do you give the horse his strength or clothe his neck with a flowing mane? Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder? |

네가 그것으로 메뚜기처럼 뛰게 하였느냐 그 ㅗ威嚴(위엄)스러운 콧소리가 두려우니라

두려움을 비웃고 놀라지 아니하며 칼을 當(당)할찌라도 물러나지 아니하니
He laughs at fear, afraid of nothing; he does not shy away from the sword. He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword. |

그 위에서는 箭筒(전통)과 빛난 작은 槍(창)과 큰 槍(창)이 錚錚(쟁쟁)하며
The quiver rattles against his side, along with the flashing spear and lance. The quiver rattleth against him, the glittering spear and the shield. |
24 |
땅을 삼킬듯이 猛烈(맹렬)히 성내며 ㅜ나팔 소리를 들으면 머물러 서지 아니하고
In frenzied excitement he eats up the ground; he cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds. He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage: neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet. |

나팔
소리 나는대로 蕭蕭(소소)히 울며 멀리서 싸움 냄새를 맡고 長官(장관)의 號令(호령)과 떠드는 소리를 듣느니라
At the blast of the trumpet he snorts, 'Aha!' He catches the scent of battle from afar, the shout of commanders and the battle cry. He saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting. |

● 매가 떠올라서 날개를 펼쳐 南方(남방)으로 向(향)하는 것이 어찌 네 智慧(지혜)로 말미암음이냐
Does the hawk take flight by your wisdom and spread his wings toward the south? Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south? |

독수리가 空中(공중)에 떠서 ㅠ높은 곳에 보금자리를 만드는 것이 어찌 네 命令(명령)을 依支(의지)함이냐
Does the eagle soar at your command and build his nest on high? Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high? |

그것이 낭떠러지에 집을 지으며 으뾰족한 바위 끝이나 險峻(험준)한 데 居(거)하며

He dwells on a cliff and stays there at night; a rocky crag is his stronghold. She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place. |

거기서 움킬만한 것을 살피나니 그 눈이 멀리 봄이며
From there he seeks out his food; his eyes detect it from afar. From thence she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off. |

그 새끼들도 피를 빠나니 이殺戮(살륙) 當(당)한 者(자) 있는 곳에는 그것도 거기 있느니라
His young ones feast on blood, and where the slain are, there is he." Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she. |
