Do not envy wicked men, do not desire their company; Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them. |

for their hearts plot violence, and their lips talk about making trouble. For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief. |

또 房(방)들은 知識(지식)으로 말미암아 各種(각종) ㅊ貴(귀)하고 아름다운 보배로 채우게 되느니라
through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. |

ㅋ智慧(지혜) 있는 者(자)는 强(강)하고 知識(지식) 있는 者(자)는 힘을 더하나니

A wise man has great power, and a man of knowledge increases strength; A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength. |

ㅌ너는 謀略(모략)으로 싸우라 勝利(승리)는 ㅍ謀士(모사)가 많음에 있느니라
for waging war you need guidance, and for victory many advisers. For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety. |

智慧(지혜)는 ㅎ너무 높아서 미련한 者(자)의 미치지 못할 것이므로 그는 ㅏ城門(성문)에서 입을 열지 못하느니라
Wisdom is too high for a fool; in the assembly at the gate he has nothing to say. Wisdom is too high for a fool: he openeth not his mouth in the gate. |

ㅑ惡(악)을 行(행)하기를 꾀하는 者(자)를 일컬어 邪慝(사특)한 者(자)라 하느니라

ㅓ미련한 者(자)의 생각은 罪(죄)요 ㅕ倨慢(거만)한 者(자)는 사람의 미움을 받느니라
The schemes of folly are sin, and men detest a mocker. The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men. |

네가 萬一(만일) ㅗ患難(환난)날에 落膽(낙담)하면 네 힘의 微弱(미약)함을 보임이니라

Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; |

네가 말하기를 나는 그것을 알지 못하였노라 할찌라도 ㅜ마음을 저울질 하시는 이가 어찌 ㅠ洞察(통찰)하지 못하시겠으며 으네 靈魂(영혼)을 지키시는
이가 어찌 알지 못하시겠느냐 그가 이各(각) 사람의 行爲(행위)대로 報應(보응)하시리라
If you say, "But we knew nothing about this," does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay each person according to what he has done? If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works? |

智慧(지혜)가 네 靈魂(영혼)에게 이와 같은 줄을 알라 이것을 얻으면 丁寧(정녕)히 네 ㄴ將來(장래)가 있겠고 네 所望(소망)이

ㄹ大抵(대저) 義人(의인)은 ㅁ일곱 番(번) 넘어질찌라도 다시 일어나려니와 ㅂ惡人(악인)은 災殃(재앙)으로 因(인)하여 엎드러지느니라
for though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again, but the wicked are brought down by calamity. For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. |

ㅅ네 怨讐(원수)가 넘어질 때에 즐거워하지 말며 그가 엎드러질 때에 마음에 기뻐하지 말라
Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when he stumbles, do not let your heart rejoice, Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: |

여호와께서 이것을 보시고 기뻐 아니하사 그 震怒(진노)를 그에게서 옮기실까 두려우니라
or the LORD will see and disapprove and turn his wrath away from him. Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him. |
19 |
너는 ㅇ行惡者(행악자)의 得意(득의)함을 因(인)하여 忿(분)을 품지 말며 ㅈ惡人(악인)의 亨通(형통)을 부러워하지 말라
Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of the wicked, Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked; |

大抵(대저) 行惡者(행악자)는 將來(장래)가 없겠고 ㅊ惡人(악인)의 燈(등)불은 꺼지리라
for the evil man has no future hope, and the lamp of the wicked will be snuffed out. For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out. |

내 아들아 ㅋ여호와와 王(왕)을 敬畏(경외)하고 叛逆者(반역자)로 더불어 사귀지 말라
Fear the LORD and the king, my son, and do not join with the rebellious, My son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change: |
22 |
大抵(대저) 그들의 災殃(재앙)은 速(속)히 臨(임)하리니 이 두 者(자)의 滅亡(멸망)을 누가 알랴
for those two will send sudden destruction upon them, and who knows what calamities they can bring? For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both? |

● 이것도 ㅌ智慧(지혜)로운 者(자)의 말씀이라 ● ㅍ裁判(재판)할 때에 낯을 보아주는 것이 옳지 못하니라 These also are sayings of the wise: To show partiality in judging is not good: These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment. |

ㅎ惡人(악인)더러 옳다 하는 者(자)는 ㅏ百姓(백성)에게 詛呪(저주)를 받을 것이요 國民(국민)에게 미움을 받으려니와
Whoever says to the guilty, "You are innocent"--peoples will curse him and nations denounce him. He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him: |

오직 그를 譴責(견책)하는 者(자)는 기쁨을 얻을 것이요 또 좋은 福(복)을 받으리라
But it will go well with those who convict the guilty, and rich blessing will come upon them. But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them. |

適當(적당)한 말로 對答(대답)함은 입맞춤과 같으니라
An honest answer is like a kiss on the lips. Every man shall kiss his lips that giveth a right answer. |

ㅑ네 일을 밖에서 다스리며 밭에서 豫備(예비)하고 그 後(후)에 네 집을 세울찌니라

I went past the field of the sluggard, past the vineyard of the man who lacks judgment; I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding; |
