Call if you will, but who will answer you? To which of the holy ones will you turn? Call now, if there be any that will answer thee; and to which of the saints wilt thou turn? |

忿怒(분노)가 미련한 者(자)를 죽이고 猜忌(시기)가 어리석은 者(자)를 滅(멸)하느니라
Resentment kills a fool, and envy slays the simple. For wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one. |

ㄱ내가 미련한 者(자)의 뿌리 박는 것을 보고 그 집을 當場(당장)에 詛呪(저주)하였노라
I myself have seen a fool taking root, but suddenly his house was cursed. I have seen the foolish taking root: but suddenly I cursed his habitation. |

그 子息(자식)들은 ㄴ平安(평안)한 데서 멀리 떠나고 城(성)ㄷ門(문)에서 눌리나 求(구)하는 者(자)가 없으며
His children are far from safety, crushed in court without a defender. His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither is there any to deliver them. |

그 秋收(추수)한 것은 주린 者(자)가 먹되 가시나무 가운데 있는 것도 빼앗으며 올무가 그의 財産(재산)을 向(향)하여 입을 벌리느니라
The hungry consume his harvest, taking it even from among thorns, and the thirsty pant after his wealth. Whose harvest the hungry eateth up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the robber swalloweth up their substance. |

災殃(재앙)은 티끌에서 일어나는 것이 아니요 苦難(고난)은 흙에서 나는 것이 아니라
For hardship does not spring from the soil, nor does trouble sprout from the ground. Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground; |

人生(인생)은 ㄹ苦難(고난)을 爲(위)하여 났나니 불티가 위로 날음 같으니라
Yet man is born to trouble as surely as sparks fly upward. Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward. |

● 나 같으면 하나님께 求(구)하고 내 일을 하나님께 依託(의탁)하리라
But if it were I, I would appeal to God; I would lay my cause before him. I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause: |

ㅁ하나님은 크고 ㅂ測量(측량)할 수 없는 일을 行(행)하시며 ㅅ奇異(기이)한 일을 셀 수 없이 行(행)하시나니
He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number: |

ㅇ비를 땅에 내리시고 물을 밭에 보내시며
He bestows rain on the earth; he sends water upon the countryside. Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields: |
11 |
ㅈ낮은 者(자)를 높이 드시고 슬퍼하는 者(자)를 興起(흥기)시켜 安全(안전)한 곳에 있게 하시느니라
The lowly he sets on high, and those who mourn are lifted to safety. To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety. |

하나님은 ㅊ詭譎(궤휼)한 者(자)의 計巧(계교)를 破(파)하사 그 손으로 하는 일을 이루지 못하게 하시며
He thwarts the plans of the crafty, so that their hands achieve no success. He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise. |

ㅋ奸巧(간교)한 者(자)로 自己(자기) 詭譎(궤휼)에 빠지게 하시며 邪慝(사특)한 者(자)의 計巧(계교)를 敗(패)하게 하시며
He catches the wise in their craftiness, and the schemes of the wily are swept away. He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong. |

그들은 낮에도 캄캄함을 만나고 ㅌ대낮에도 더듬기를 밤과 같이 하느니라
Darkness comes upon them in the daytime; at noon they grope as in the night. They meet with darkness in the daytime, and grope in the noonday as in the night. |
15 |
하나님은 ㅍ困憊(곤비)한 者(자)를 그들의 입의 칼에서, 强(강)한 者(자)의 손에서 免(면)하게 하시나니

He saves the needy from the sword in their mouth; he saves them from the clutches of the powerful. But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty. |

그러므로 가난한 者(자)가 所望(소망)이 있고 ㅎ不義(불의)가 스스로 입을 막느니라
So the poor have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth. So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth. |
17 |
● 볼찌어다 ㅏ하나님께 懲戒(징계)받는 者(자)에게는 福(복)이 있나니 그런즉 너는 ㅑ全能者(전능자)의 ㅓ警責(경책)을 업신여기지 말찌니라
Blessed is the man whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty: |

하나님은 아프게 하시다가 ㅕ싸매시며 ㅗ傷(상)하게 하시다가 그 손으로 고치시나니
For he wounds, but he also binds up; he injures, but his hands also heal. For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole. |
19 |
ㅛ여섯가지 患難(환난)에서 너를 ㅜ救援(구원)하시며 일곱가지 患難(환난)이라도 ㅠ그 災殃(재앙)이 네게 미치지 않게 하시며
From six calamities he will rescue you; in seven no harm will befall you. He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee. |

으饑饉(기근) 때에 죽음에서, 戰爭(전쟁) 때에 칼 權勢(권세)에서 너를 救贖(구속)하실 터인즉
In famine he will ransom you from death, and in battle from the stroke of the sword. In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword. |

이네가 혀의 채찍을 避(피)하여 숨을 수가 있고 滅亡(멸망)이 올 때에도 두려워 아니할 것이라

You will be protected from the lash of the tongue, and need not fear when destruction comes. Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh. |

네가 滅亡(멸망)과 饑饉(기근)을 비웃으며 ㅐ들짐승을 두려워 아니할 것은
You will laugh at destruction and famine, and need not fear the beasts of the earth. At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth. |

밭에 돌이 너와 言約(언약)을 맺겠고 들짐승이 너와 和親(화친)할 것임이라
For you will have a covenant with the stones of the field, and the wild animals will be at peace with you. For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee. |

네가 네 ㄱ帳幕(장막)의 平安(평안)함을 알고 네 1)우리를 살펴도 잃은 것이 없을 것이며

You will know that your tent is secure; you will take stock of your property and find nothing missing. And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin. |

네 ㄴ子孫(자손)이 많아지며 네 後裔(후예)가 ㄷ땅에 풀 같을 줄을 네가 알것이라
You will know that your children will be many, and your descendants like the grass of the earth. Thou shalt know also that thy seed shall be great, and thine offspring as the grass of the earth. |

네가 ㄹ長壽(장수)하다가 무덤에 이르리니 穀食(곡식)단이 그 期限(기한)에 運搬(운반)되어 올리움 같으리라
You will come to the grave in full vigor, like sheaves gathered in season. Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in in his season. |

볼찌어다 우리의 ㅁ硏究(연구)한 바가 이같으니 너는 듣고 네게 有益(유익)된 줄 알찌니라
