My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: |

그리하면 그것이 너로 ㅋ長壽(장수)하여 많은 해를 누리게 하며 ㅌ平康(평강)을 더하게 하리라
for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity. For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. |

ㅍ仁慈(인자)와 ㅎ眞理(진리)로 네게서 떠나지 않게 하고 그것을
ㅏ네 목에 매며 네 ㅑ마음板(판)에 새기라
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: |

그리하면 네가 ㅓ하나님과 사람 앞에서 恩寵(은총)과 ㅕ貴重(귀중)히 여김을 받으리라
Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. |

너는 ㅗ마음을 다하여 여호와를 依賴(의뢰)하고 ㅛ네 明哲(명철)을 依支(의지)하지 말라
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. |
6 |
너는 凡事(범사)에 ㅜ그를 認定(인정)하라 그리하면 ㅠ네 길을 指導(지도)하시리라
in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. |
7 |
으스스로 智慧(지혜)롭게 여기지 말찌어다 이여호와를 敬畏(경외)하며 惡(악)을 떠날찌어다
Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. |
8 |
이것이 ㅐ네 몸에 良藥(양약)이 되어 ㄱ네 骨髓(골수)로 潤澤(윤택)하게 하리라
This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. |
9 |
ㄴ네 財物(재물)과 네 所産物(소산물)의 처음 익은 열매로 여호와를 恭敬(공경)하라
Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: |
10 |
그리하면 네 ㄷ倉庫(창고)가 가득히 차고 네 ㄹ汁(즙)틀에 새 葡萄汁(포도즙)이 넘치리라
then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. |

● ㅁ내 아들아 여호와의 懲戒(징계)를 輕(경)히 여기지 말라 그 꾸지람을 싫어하지 말라
My son, do not despise the LORD'S discipline and do not resent his rebuke, My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: |
12 |
大抵(대저) 여호와께서 그 사랑하시는 者(자)를 懲戒(징계)하시기를 마치 ㅂ아비가 그 기뻐하는 아들을 懲戒(징계)함 같이 하시느니라
because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in. For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. |

ㅅ智慧(지혜)를 얻은 者(자)와 明哲(명철)을 얻은 者(자)는 福(복)이 있나니

Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding, Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. |

ㅇ이는 智慧(지혜)를 얻는 것이 銀(은)을 얻는 것보다 낫고 그 利益(이익)이 ㅈ精金(정금)보다 나음이니라
for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. |
15 |
智慧(지혜)는 ㅊ眞珠(진주)보다 貴(귀)하니 ㅋ너의 思慕(사모)하는 모든 것으로 이에 比較(비교)할 수 없도다
She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. |

그 ㅌ右便(우편) 손에는 長壽(장수)가 있고 그
ㅍ左便(좌편) 손에는 富貴(부귀)가 있나니
Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. |

ㅎ그 길은 즐거운 길이요 그
捷徑(첩경)은
다 平康(평강)이니라
Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. |

ㅏ智慧(지혜)는 그 얻은 者(자)에게 ㅑ生命(생명)나무라 智慧(지혜)를 가진 者(자)는 福(복)되도다
She is a tree of life to those who embrace her; those who lay hold of her will be blessed. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. |

ㅓ여호와께서는 智慧(지혜)로 땅을 세우셨으며 明哲(명철)로 하늘을 굳게 펴셨고
By wisdom the LORD laid the earth's foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. |

그 知識(지식)으로 ㅕ海洋(해양)이 갈라지게 하셨으며 ㅗ空中(공중)에서
이슬이 내리게 하셨느니라
by his knowledge the deeps were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew. By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. |

내 아들아 完全(완전)한 智慧(지혜)와 謹愼(근신)을 지키고 ㅛ이것들로 네 눈 앞에서 떠나지 않게 하라

My son, preserve sound judgment and discernment, do not let them out of your sight; My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: |

그리하면 그것이 네 ㅜ靈魂(영혼)의 生命(생명)이 되며 ㅠ네 목에 粧飾(장식)이 되리니
they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. |

으네가 네 길을 晏然(안연)히 行(행)하겠고 이네 발이 거치지
아니하겠으며
Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble; Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. |
24 |
ㅐ네가 누울 때에 두려워하지 아니하겠고 네가 누운즉 ㄱ네 잠이 달리로다
when you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. |

너는 ㄴ倉猝間(창졸간)의 두려움이나 ㄷ惡人(악인)의 滅亡(멸망)이 臨(임)할 때나 두려워하지말라
Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. |

大抵(대저) 여호와는 너의 依支(의지)할 者(자)이시라 ㄹ네 발을 지켜 걸리지 않게 하시리라

● 네 손이 善(선)을 베풀 힘이 있거든 ㅁ마땅히 받을 者(자)에게 베풀기를 아끼지 말며

ㅂ네게 있거든 이웃에게 이르기를 갔다가 다시 오라 來日(내일) 주겠노라 하지 말며
Do not say to your neighbor, "Come back later; I'll give it tomorrow"--when you now have it with you. Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee. |

ㅅ네 이웃이 네 곁에서 晏然(안연)히 살거든 ㅇ그를 謀害(모해)하지 말며
Do not plot harm against your neighbor, who lives trustfully near you. Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee. |

사람이 네게 惡(악)을 行(행)하지 아니하였거든 ㅈ까닭없이 더불어 다투지말며
ㅈ

Do not accuse a man for no reason--when he has done you no harm. Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm. |

ㅊ暴虐(포학)한 者(자)를 ㅋ부러워하지 말며 그 아무 行爲(행위)든지 좇지 말라
Do not envy a violent man or choose any of his ways, Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. |

ㅌ大抵(대저) 悖逆(패역)한 者(자)는 여호와의 미워하심을 입거니와 正直(정직)한 者(자)에게는 그의 ㅍ交通(교통)하심이 있으며
for the LORD detests a perverse man but takes the upright into his confidence. For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous. |
33 |
惡人(악인)의 집에는 ㅎ여호와의 詛呪(저주)가 있거니와 ㅏ義人(의인)의 집에는 福(복)이 있느니라
The LORD'S curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous. The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just. |

眞實(진실)로 그는 ㅑ倨慢(거만)한 者(자)를 비웃으시며 ㅓ謙遜(겸손)한 者(자)에게 恩惠(은혜)를 베푸시나니
He mocks proud mockers but gives grace to the humble. Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly. |

智慧(지혜)로운 者(자)는 榮光(영광)을 基業(기업)으로
받거니와 미련한 者(자)의 顯達(현달)함은 ㅕ辱(욕)이 되느니라
The wise inherit honor, but fools he holds up to shame. The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools. |
