ㅜ여호와께서 아브람에게 이르시되 너는 너의 本土(본토) 親戚(친척) 아비 집을 떠나 내가 네게 指示(지시)할 땅으로 가라
The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: |

ㅠ내가 너로 큰 民族(민족)을 이루고 네게 福(복)을 주어 네 이름을 昌大(창대)케 하리니 너는 福(복)의 根源(근원)이 될찌라
I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: |

너를 祝福(축복)하는 者(자)에게는 으내가 福(복)을 내리고 너를 詛呪(저주)하는 者(자)에게는 내가 詛呪(저주)하리니 땅의 모든 族屬(족속)이 이너를
因(인)하여 福(복)을 얻을 것이니라 하신지라
I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. |

이에 아브람이 여호와의 말씀을 좇아 갔고 롯도 그와 함께 갔으며 아브람이 하란을 떠날 때에 그 나이 七十五歲(칠십오세)였더라
So Abram left, as the LORD had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Haran. So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. |

아브람이 그 아내 사래와 조카 롯과 ㅐ하란에서 모은 모든 所有(소유)와 얻은 사람들을 이끌고 가나안 땅으로 가려고 떠나서 마침내 가나안 땅에 들어 갔더라

He took his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, all the possessions they had accumulated and the people they had acquired in Haran, and they set out for the land of Canaan, and they arrived there. And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came. |

아브람이 그 땅을 通過(통과)하여 ㄱ세겜 땅 ㄴ모레 ㄷ상수리나무에 이르니 그 때에 ㄹ가나안 사람이 그 땅에 居(거)하였더라
Abram traveled through the land as far as the site of the great tree of Moreh at Shechem. At that time the Canaanites were in the land. And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land. |

여호와께서 아브람에게 나타나 가라사대 ㅁ내가 이 땅을 네 子孫(자손)에게 주리라 하신지라 그가 自己(자기)에게 나타나신 여호와를 爲(위)하여 그곳에 壇(단)을 쌓고
The LORD appeared to Abram and said, "To your offspring I will give this land." So he built an altar there to the LORD, who had appeared to him. And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him. |

거기서 ㅂ벧엘 東便(동편) 山(산)으로 옮겨 帳幕(장막)을 치니 西(서)는 벧엘이요 東(동)은 아이라 그가 그곳에서 여호와를 爲(위)하여
壇(단)을 쌓고 여호와의 이름을 부르더니

From there he went on toward the hills east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to the LORD and called on the name of the LORD. And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD. |

漸漸(점점) 南方(남방)으로 옮겨 갔더라
Then Abram set out and continued toward the Negev. And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south. |

● 그 땅에 ㅅ饑饉(기근)이 있으므로 아브람이 애굽에 寓居(우거)하려 하여 그리로 내려갔으니 이는 그 땅에 饑饉(기근)이 甚(심)하였음이라
Now there was a famine in the land, and Abram went down to Egypt to live there for a while because the famine was severe. And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land. |

그가 애굽에 가까이 이를 때에 그 아내 사래더러 말하되 나 알기에 그대는 아리따운 女人(여인)이라
As he was about to enter Egypt, he said to his wife Sarai, "I know what a beautiful woman you are. And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon: |

애굽 사람이 그대를 볼 때에 이르기를 이는 그의 아내라 하고 ㅇ나는 죽이고 그대는 살리리니
When the Egyptians see you, they will say, 'This is his wife.' Then they will kill me but will let you live. Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive. |
13 |
願(원)컨대 그대는 나의 누이라 하라 그리하면 내가 그대로 因(인)하여 安全(안전)하고 내 목숨이 그대로 因(인)하여 保存(보존)하겠노라 하니라
Say you are my sister, so that I will be treated well for your sake and my life will be spared because of you." Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee. |

아브람이 애굽에 이르렀을 때에 애굽 사람들이 그 女人(여인)의 甚(심)히 아리따움을 보았고
When Abram came to Egypt, the Egyptians saw that she was a very beautiful woman. And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair. |
15 |
바로의 代身(대신)들도 그를 보고 바로 앞에 稱讚(칭찬)하므로 그 女人(여인)을 바로의 宮(궁)으로 取(취)하여 들인지라
And when Pharaoh's officials saw her, they praised her to Pharaoh, and she was taken into his palace. The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house. |
16 |
이에 바로가 그를 因(인)하여 아브람을 厚待(후대)하므로 아브람이 羊(양)과 소와 奴婢(노비)와 암수 나귀와 약대를 얻었더라
He treated Abram well for her sake, and Abram acquired sheep and cattle, male and female donkeys, menservants and maidservants, and camels. And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels. |
17 |
여호와께서 아브람의 아내 사래의 緣故(연고)로 바로와 그 집에 ㅈ큰 災殃(재앙)을 내리신지라
But the LORD inflicted serious diseases on Pharaoh and his household because of Abram's wife Sarai. And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife. |
18 |
바로가 아브람을 불러서 이르되 네가 어찌하여 나를 이렇게 待接(대접)하였느냐 네가 어찌하여 그를 네 아내라고 내게 告(고)하지 아니하였느냐
So Pharaoh summoned Abram. "What have you done to me?" he said. "Why didn't you tell me she was your wife? And Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife? |
19 |
네가 어찌 그를 누이라 하여 나로 그를 取(취)하여 아내를 삼게 하였느냐 네 아내가 여기 있으니 이제 데려 가라 하고
Why did you say, 'She is my sister,' so that I took her to be my wife? Now then, here is your wife. Take her and go!" Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way. |
20 |
바로가 사람들에게 그의 일을 命(명)하매 그들이 그 아내와 그 모든 所有(소유)를 보내었더라
Then Pharaoh gave orders about Abram to his men, and they sent him on his way, with his wife and everything he had. And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him: and they sent him away, and his wife, and all that he had. |
