Abraham was now old and well advanced in years, and the LORD had blessed him in every way. And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things. |

He said to the chief servant in his household, the one in charge of all that he had, "Put your hand under my thigh. And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh: |

내가 너로 하늘의 하나님, 땅의
하나님이신 여호와를 가리켜 盟誓(맹세)하게 하노니 너는 나의 居(거)하는 이 地方(지방) 가나안 族屬(족속)의 딸 中(중)에서 ㅌ내 아들을 爲(위)하여 아내를 擇(택)하지 말고
I want you to swear by the LORD, the God of heaven and the God of earth, that you will not get a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I am living, And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell: |

but will go to my country and my own relatives and get a wife for my son Isaac." But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac. |

종이 가로되 女子(여자)가 나를 좇아 이 땅으로 오고자 아니하거든 내가 主人(주인)의 아들을 主人(주인)의 나오신 땅으로 引導(인도)하여 돌아가리이까
The servant asked him, "What if the woman is unwilling to come back with me to this land? Shall I then take your son back to the country you came from?" And the servant said unto him, Peradventure the woman will not be willing to follow me unto this land: must I needs bring thy son again unto the land from whence thou camest? |

아브라함이 그에게 이르되 삼가 내 아들을 그리로 데리고 돌아가지 말라
Make sure that you do not take my son back there, Abraham said. And Abraham said unto him, Beware thou that thou bring not my son thither again. |

하늘의 하나님 여호와께서
ㅎ나를 내 아버지의 집과 내 本土(본토)에서 떠나게 하시고 내게 말씀하시며 내게 盟誓(맹세)하여 이르시기를 ㅏ이 땅을 네 씨에게
주리라 하셨으니 그가 ㅑ그 使者(사자)를 네 앞서 보내실찌라 네가 거기서 내 아들을 爲(위)하여 아내를 擇(택)할찌니라
The LORD, the God of heaven, who brought me out of my father's household and my native land and who spoke to me and promised me on oath, saying, 'To your offspring I will give this land'--he will send his angel before you so that you can get a wife for my son from there. The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father's house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence. |

萬一(만일) 女子(여자)가 너를 좇아 오고자 아니하면 나의 이 ㅓ盟誓(맹세)가 너와 相關(상관)이 없나니 오직 내 아들을 데리고 그리로 가지 말찌니라

If the woman is unwilling to come back with you, then you will be released from this oath of mine. Only do not take my son back there." And if the woman will not be willing to follow thee, then thou shalt be clear from this my oath: only bring not my son thither again. |

종이 이에 主人(주인) 아브라함의 환도뼈 아래 ㅕ손을 넣고 이 일에 對(대)하여 그에게 盟誓(맹세)하였더라

So the servant put his hand under the thigh of his master Abraham and swore an oath to him concerning this matter. And the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and sware to him concerning that matter. |

● 이에 종이 그 主人(주인)의 약대 中(중) 열匹(필)을 取(취)하고 떠났는데 곧 그 主人(주인)의 모든 좋은 것을 가지고 떠나 ㅗ메소보다미아로 가서 나홀의 城(성)에 이르러
Then the servant took ten of his master's camels and left, taking with him all kinds of good things from his master. He set out for Aram Naharaim and made his way to the town of Nahor. And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; for all the goods of his master were in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor. |

그 약대를 城(성) 밖 우물 곁에 꿇렸으니 저녁 때라 ㅛ女人(여인)들이 물을 길러 나올 때이었더라
He had the camels kneel down near the well outside the town; it was toward evening, the time the women go out to draw water. And he made his camels to kneel down without the city by a well of water at the time of the evening, even the time that women go out to draw water. |

그가 가로되 ㅜ우리 主人(주인) 아브라함의 하나님 여호와여 願(원)컨대 오늘날 ㅠ나로 順適(순적)히
만나게 하사 나의 主人(주인) 아브라함에게 恩惠(은혜)를 베푸시옵소서
Then he prayed, "O LORD, God of my master Abraham, give me success today, and show kindness to my master Abraham. And he said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham. |

城中(성중) 사람의 딸들이 물 길러 나오겠사오니 으내가 우물 곁에 섰다가

See, I am standing beside this spring, and the daughters of the townspeople are coming out to draw water. Behold, I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water: |

한 少女(소녀)에게 이르기를 請(청)컨대 너는 물 항아리를 기울여 나로 마시게 하라 하리니 그의 對答(대답)이 마시라 내가 當身(당신)의 약대에게도 마시우리라 하면 이그는 主(주)께서
主(주)의 종 이삭을 爲(위)하여 定(정)하신 者(자)라 이로 因(인)하여 主(주)께서 나의 主人(주인)에게 恩惠(은혜) 베푸심을 내가 알겠나이다

May it be that when I say to a girl, 'Please let down your jar that I may have a drink,' and she says, 'Drink, and I'll water your camels too'--let her be the one you have chosen for your servant Isaac. By this I will know that you have shown kindness to my master." And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master. |

말을 마치지 못하여서 리브가가 물 항아리를 어깨에 메고 나오니 그는 아브라함의 同生(동생) 나홀의 아내 ㅐ밀가의 아들 브두엘의 所生(소생)이라
Before he had finished praying, Rebekah came out with her jar on her shoulder. She was the daughter of Bethuel son of Milcah, who was the wife of Abraham's brother Nahor. And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder. |

그 少女(소녀)는 보기에 ㄱ甚(심)히 아리땁고 至今(지금)까지 男子(남자)가 가까이 하지 아니한 處女(처녀)더라 그가 우물에 내려가서 물을 그 물 항아리에 채워 가지고 올라오는지라

The girl was very beautiful, a virgin; no man had ever lain with her. She went down to the spring, filled her jar and came up again. And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up. |

종이 마주 달려가서 가로되 請(청)컨대 네 물 항아리의 물을 내게 조금 마시우라
The servant hurried to meet her and said, "Please give me a little water from your jar." And the servant ran to meet her, and said, Let me, I pray thee, drink a little water of thy pitcher. |
18 |
그가 가로되 主(주)여 마시소서 하며 急(급)히 그 물 항아리를 손에 내려 마시게 하고
Drink, my lord, she said, and quickly lowered the jar to her hands and gave him a drink. And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink. |

마시우기를 다하고 가로되 當身(당신)의 약대도 爲(위)하여 물을 길어 그것들로 배불리 마시게 하리이다 하고
After she had given him a drink, she said, "I'll draw water for your camels too, until they have finished drinking." And when she had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw water for thy camels also, until they have done drinking. |
20 |
急(급)히 물 항아리의 물을 구유에 붓고 다시 길으려고 우물로 달려가서 모든 약대를 爲(위)하여 긷는지라
So she quickly emptied her jar into the trough, ran back to the well to draw more water, and drew enough for all his camels. And she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again unto the well to draw water, and drew for all his camels. |
21 |
그 사람이 그를 默默(묵묵)히 注目(주목)하며 여호와께서 果然(과연) 平坦(평탄)한 길을 주신 與否(여부)를 알고자 하더니
Without saying a word, the man watched her closely to learn whether or not the LORD had made his journey successful. And the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not. |

약대가 마시기를 다하매 그가 半(반) 세겔 中(중) 金(금)고리 한個(개)와 열 세겔中(중) 金(금) 손목고리 한 雙(쌍)을 그에게 주며
When the camels had finished drinking, the man took out a gold nose ring weighing a beka and two gold bracelets weighing ten shekels. And it came to pass, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden earring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten shekels weight of gold; |
23 |
가로되 네가 뉘 딸이냐 請(청)컨대 내게 告(고)하라 네 父親(부친)의 집에 우리 留宿(유숙)할 곳이 있느냐
Then he asked, "Whose daughter are you? Please tell me, is there room in your father's house for us to spend the night?" And said, Whose daughter art thou? tell me, I pray thee: is there room in thy father's house for us to lodge in? |

그 女子(여자)가 그에게 이르되 ㄴ나는 밀가가 나홀에게 낳은 아들 브두엘의 딸이니이다
She answered him, "I am the daughter of Bethuel, the son that Milcah bore to Nahor." And she said unto him, I am the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, which she bare unto Nahor. |
25 |
또 가로되 우리에게 짚과 보리가 足(족)하며 留宿(유숙)할 곳도 있나이다
And she added, "We have plenty of straw and fodder, as well as room for you to spend the night." She said moreover unto him, We have both straw and provender enough, and room to lodge in. |
26 |
이에 ㄷ그 사람이 머리를 숙여 여호와께 敬拜(경배)하고
Then the man bowed down and worshiped the LORD, And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped the LORD. |
27 |
가로되 ㄹ나의 主人(주인) 아브라함의 하나님 여호와를 讚頌(찬송)하나이다 나의 主人(주인)에게 ㅁ主(주)의 仁慈(인자)와
誠實(성실)을 끊이지 아니하셨사오며 여호와께서 ㅂ길에서 나를 引導(인도)하사 내 主人(주인)의 同生(동생)집에 이르게 하셨나이다 하니라
saying, "Praise be to the LORD, the God of my master Abraham, who has not abandoned his kindness and faithfulness to my master. As for me, the LORD has led me on the journey to the house of my master's relatives." And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren. |

● 少女(소녀)가 달려가서 이 일을 어미 집에 告(고)하였더니
The girl ran and told her mother's household about these things. And the damsel ran, and told them of her mother's house these things. |
29 |
리브가에게 오라비가 있어 이름은 ㅅ라반이라 그가 우물로 달려가 그 사람에게 이르니
Now Rebekah had a brother named Laban, and he hurried out to the man at the spring. And Rebekah had a brother, and his name was Laban: and Laban ran out unto the man, unto the well. |

그가 그 누이의 고리와 그 손의 손목고리를 보고 또 그 누이 리브가가 그 사람이 自己(자기)에게 이같이 말하더라 함을 듣고 그 사람에게로 나아감이라 때에 그가 우물가 약대 곁에 섰더라
As soon as he had seen the nose ring, and the bracelets on his sister's arms, and had heard Rebekah tell what the man said to her, he went out to the man and found him standing by the camels near the spring. And it came to pass, when he saw the earring and bracelets upon his sister's hands, and when he heard the words of Rebekah his sister, saying, Thus spake the man unto me; that he came unto the man; and, behold, he stood by the camels at the well. |
31 |
라반이 가로되 ㅇ여호와께 福(복)을 받은 者(자)여 들어오소서 어찌 밖에 섰나이까 내가 房(방)과 약대의 處所(처소)를 豫備(예비)하였나이다
Come, you who are blessed by the LORD, he said. "Why are you standing out here? I have prepared the house and a place for the camels." And he said, Come in, thou blessed of the LORD; wherefore standest thou without? for I have prepared the house, and room for the camels. |
32 |
그 사람이 집으로 들어가매 라반이 약대의 짐을 부리고 ㅈ짚과 보리를 약대에게 주고 그 사람의 발과 그 從者(종자)의 ㅊ발 씻을 물을 주고
So the man went to the house, and the camels were unloaded. Straw and fodder were brought for the camels, and water for him and his men to wash their feet. And the man came into the house: and he ungirded his camels, and gave straw and provender for the camels, and water to wash his feet, and the men's feet that were with him. |
33 |
그 앞에 植物(식물)을 베푸니 그 사람이 가로되 내가 내 일을 陳述(진술)하기 前(전)에는 먹지 아니하겠나이다 라반이 가로되 말하소서
Then food was set before him, but he said, "I will not eat until I have told you what I have to say." "Then tell us," Laban said. And there was set meat before him to eat: but he said, I will not eat, until I have told mine errand. And he said, Speak on. |

그가 가로되 나는 아브라함의 종이니이다
So he said, "I am Abraham's servant. And he said, I am Abraham's servant. |
35 |
ㅋ여호와께서 나의 主人(주인)에게 크게 福(복)을 주어 昌盛(창성)케 하시되 牛羊(우양)과 銀金(은금)과 奴婢(노비)와 약대와 나귀를 그에게 주셨고

The LORD has blessed my master abundantly, and he has become wealthy. He has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, menservants and maidservants, and camels and donkeys. And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses. |

나의 主人(주인)의 婦人(부인) 사라가 ㅌ老年(노년)에 나의 主人(주인)에게 아들을 낳으매 主人(주인)이 ㅍ그 모든 所有(소유)를 그 아들에게 주었나이다
My master's wife Sarah has borne him a son in her old age, and he has given him everything he owns. And Sarah my master's wife bare a son to my master when she was old: and unto him hath he given all that he hath. |

나의 主人(주인)이 ㅎ나로 盟誓(맹세)하게 하여 가로되 너는 내 아들을 爲(위)하여 나 사는 땅 가나안 族屬(족속)의 딸 中(중)에서 아내를 擇(택)하지 말고

And my master made me swear an oath, and said, 'You must not get a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I live, And my master made me swear, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife to my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I dwell: |

내 아비 집 내 族屬(족속)에게로 가서 내 아들을 爲(위)하여 아내를 擇(택)하라 하시기로
but go to my father's family and to my own clan, and get a wife for my son.' But thou shalt go unto my father's house, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son. |

내가 내 主人(주인)에게 말씀하되 或(혹) 女子(여자)가 나를 좇지 아니하면 어찌 하리이까 한즉
Then I asked my master, 'What if the woman will not come back with me?' And I said unto my master, Peradventure the woman will not follow me. |
40 |
主人(주인)이 내게 이르되 ㅏ나의 섬기는 여호와께서 그 使者(사자)를 너와 함께 보내어 네게 ㅑ平坦(평탄)한 길을 주시리니 너는 내 族屬(족속) 中(중) 내 아비
집에서 내 아들을 爲(위)하여 아내를 擇(택)할 것이니라
He replied, 'The LORD, before whom I have walked, will send his angel with you and make your journey a success, so that you can get a wife for my son from my own clan and from my father's family. And he said unto me, The LORD, before whom I walk, will send his angel with thee, and prosper thy way; and thou shalt take a wife for my son of my kindred, and of my father's house: |

네가 내 族屬(족속)에게 이를 때에는 네가 내 盟誓(맹세)와 相關(상관)이 없으리라 設或(설혹) 그들이 네게 주지 아니할찌라도 네가 내 盟誓(맹세)와 相關(상관)이 없으리라 하시기로
Then, when you go to my clan, you will be released from my oath even if they refuse to give her to you--you will be released from my oath.' Then shalt thou be clear from this my oath, when thou comest to my kindred; and if they give not thee one, thou shalt be clear from my oath. |

내가 오늘 우물에 이르러 말씀하기를 나의 ㅓ主人(주인) 아브라함의 하나님 여호와여 萬一(만일) 나의 行(행)하는 길에 亨通(형통)함을 주실찐대
When I came to the spring today, I said, 'O LORD, God of my master Abraham, if you will, please grant success to the journey on which I have come. And I came this day unto the well, and said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, if now thou do prosper my way which I go: |

내가 이 ㅕ우물 곁에 섰다가 靑年(청년) 女子(여자)가 물을 길러 오거든 내가 그에게 請(청)하기를 너는 물 항아리의 물을 내게 조금 마시우라 하여

See, I am standing beside this spring; if a maiden comes out to draw water and I say to her, "Please let me drink a little water from your jar," Behold, I stand by the well of water; and it shall come to pass, that when the virgin cometh forth to draw water, and I say to her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water of thy pitcher to drink; |

ㅗ그의 對答(대답)이 當身(당신)은 마시라 내가 또 當身(당신)의 약대를 爲(위)하여도 길으리라 하면 그 女子(여자)는 여호와께서 나의 主人(주인)의 아들을 爲(위)하여 定(정)하여
주신 者(자)가 되리이다 하며
and if she says to me, "Drink, and I'll draw water for your camels too," let her be the one the LORD has chosen for my master's son.' And she say to me, Both drink thou, and I will also draw for thy camels: let the same be the woman whom the LORD hath appointed out for my master's son. |

내가 ㅛ默禱(묵도)하기를 마치지 못하여 리브가가 물 항아리를 어깨에 메고 나와서 우물로 내려와 긷기로 내가 그에게 이르기를 請(청)컨대 내게 마시우라 한즉

She quickly lowered her jar from her shoulder and said, 'Drink, and I'll water your camels too.' So I drank, and she watered the camels also. And she made haste, and let down her pitcher from her shoulder, and said, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: so I drank, and she made the camels drink also. |

내가 그에게 묻기를 네가 뉘 딸이뇨 한즉 가로되 밀가가 나홀에게 낳은 브두엘의 딸이라 하기로 ㅜ내가 고리를 그 코에 꿰고 손목고리를 그 손에 끼우고
I asked her, 'Whose daughter are you?' She said, 'The daughter of Bethuel son of Nahor, whom Milcah bore to him.' "Then I put the ring in her nose and the bracelets on her arms, And I asked her, and said, Whose daughter art thou? And she said, The daughter of Bethuel, Nahor's son, whom Milcah bare unto him: and I put the earring upon her face, and the bracelets upon her hands. |

나의 主人(주인) 아브라함의 하나님 여호와께서 나를 바른 길로 引導(인도)하사 나의 ㅠ主人(주인)의 同生(동생)의 딸을 그 아들을 爲(위)하여 擇(택)하게 하셨으므로 내가
으머리를 숙여 그에게 敬拜(경배)하고 讚頌(찬송)하였나이다
and I bowed down and worshiped the LORD. I praised the LORD, the God of my master Abraham, who had led me on the right road to get the granddaughter of my master's brother for his son. And I bowed down my head, and worshipped the LORD, and blessed the LORD God of my master Abraham, which had led me in the right way to take my master's brother's daughter unto his son. |

이제 當身(당신)들이 이仁慈(인자)와 眞實(진실)로 나의 主人(주인)을 待接(대접)하려거든 내게 告(고)하시고 그렇지 않을찌라도 내게 告(고)하여 나로 左右間(좌우간)
行(행)하게 하소서
Now if you will show kindness and faithfulness to my master, tell me; and if not, tell me, so I may know which way to turn." And now if ye will deal kindly and truly with my master, tell me: and if not, tell me; that I may turn to the right hand, or to the left. |

라반과 브두엘이 對答(대답)하여 가로되 이 일이 여호와께로 말미암았으니 우리는 ㅐ可否(가부)를 말할 수 없노라
Laban and Bethuel answered, "This is from the LORD; we can say nothing to you one way or the other. Then Laban and Bethuel answered and said, The thing proceedeth from the LORD: we cannot speak unto thee bad or good. |

리브가가 그대 앞에 있으니 데리고 가서 ㄱ여호와의 命(명)대로 그로 그대의 主人(주인)의 아들의 아내가 되게 하라
Here is Rebekah; take her and go, and let her become the wife of your master's son, as the LORD has directed." Behold, Rebekah is before thee, take her, and go, and let her be thy master's son's wife, as the LORD hath spoken. |

아브라함의 종이 그들의 말을 듣고 땅에 엎드리어 여호와께 절하고
When Abraham's servant heard what they said, he bowed down to the ground before the LORD. And it came to pass, that, when Abraham's servant heard their words, he worshipped the LORD, bowing himself to the earth. |
53 |
銀金(은금) 佩物(패물)과 衣服(의복)을 꺼내어 리브가에게 주고 그 오라비와 어미에게도 寶物(보물)을 주니라
Then the servant brought out gold and silver jewelry and articles of clothing and gave them to Rebekah; he also gave costly gifts to her brother and to her mother. And the servant brought forth jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment, and gave them to Rebekah: he gave also to her brother and to her mother precious things. |
54 |
이에 그들 곧 종과 從者(종자)들이 먹고 마시고 留宿(유숙)하고 아침에 일어나서 그가 가로되 ㄴ나를 보내어 내 主人(주인)에게로 돌아가게
하소서
Then he and the men who were with him ate and drank and spent the night there. When they got up the next morning, he said, "Send me on my way to my master." And they did eat and drink, he and the men that were with him, and tarried all night; and they rose up in the morning, and he said, Send me away unto my master. |
55 |
리브가의 오라비와 그 어미가 가로되 少女(소녀)로 며칠을 적어도 열흘을 우리와 함께 있게 하라 그 後(후)에 그가 갈 것이니라
But her brother and her mother replied, "Let the girl remain with us ten days or so; then you may go." And her brother and her mother said, Let the damsel abide with us a few days, at the least ten; after that she shall go. |

그 사람이 그들에게 이르되 나를 挽留(만류)치 마소서 여호와께서 내게 亨通(형통)한 길을 주셨으니 나를 보내어 내 主人(주인)에게로 돌아가게 하소서
But he said to them, "Do not detain me, now that the LORD has granted success to my journey. Send me on my way so I may go to my master." And he said unto them, Hinder me not, seeing the LORD hath prospered my way; send me away that I may go to my master. |
57 |
그들이 가로되 우리가 少女(소녀)를 불러 그에게 물으리라 하고

리브가에게 祝福(축복)하여 가로되 우리 누이여 너는 ㄹ千萬人(천만인)의 어미가 될찌어다 ㅁ네 씨로 그
怨讐(원수)의 城門(성문)을 얻게 할찌어다
And they blessed Rebekah and said to her, "Our sister, may you increase to thousands upon thousands; may your offspring possess the gates of their enemies." And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Thou art our sister, be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them. |

● 리브가가 일어나 婢子(비자)와 함께 약대를 타고 그 사람을 따라가니 종이 리브가를 데리고 가니라
Then Rebekah and her maids got ready and mounted their camels and went back with the man. So the servant took Rebekah and left. And Rebekah arose, and her damsels, and they rode upon the camels, and followed the man: and the servant took Rebekah, and went his way. |

때에 이삭이 ㅂ브엘 라해로이에서 왔으니 그가 南方(남방)에 居(거)하였었음이라
Now Isaac had come from Beer Lahai Roi, for he was living in the Negev. And Isaac came from the way of the well Lahairoi; for he dwelt in the south country. |

이삭이 저물 때에 들에 나가 ㅅ默想(묵상)하다가 눈을 들어 보매 약대들이 오더라
He went out to the field one evening to meditate, and as he looked up, he saw camels approaching. And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, the camels were coming. |

리브가가 눈을 들어 이삭을 바라보고 약대에서 내려
Rebekah also looked up and saw Isaac. She got down from her camel And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she lighted off the camel. |

종에게 말하되 들에서 徘徊(배회)하다가 우리에게로 마주 오는 者(자)가 누구뇨 종이 가로되 이는 내 主人(주인)이니이다 리브가가 면박을 取(취)하여 스스로 가리우더라
and asked the servant, "Who is that man in the field coming to meet us?" "He is my master," the servant answered. So she took her veil and covered herself. For she had said unto the servant, What man is this that walketh in the field to meet us? And the servant had said, It is my master: therefore she took a vail, and covered herself. |

종이 그 行(행)한 일을 다 이삭에게 告(고)하매
Then the servant told Isaac all he had done. And the servant told Isaac all things that he had done. |

이삭이 리브가를 引導(인도)하여 母親(모친) 사라의 帳幕(장막)으로 들이고 그를 取(취)하여 아내를 삼고 사랑하였으니 이삭이
ㅇ母親(모친) 喪事(상사) 後(후)에 ㅈ慰勞(위로)를 얻었더라
Isaac brought her into the tent of his mother Sarah, and he married Rebekah. So she became his wife, and he loved her; and Isaac was comforted after his mother's death. And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah's tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her: and Isaac was comforted after his mother's death. |
