아들들이 와서 여호와 앞에 서고 사단도 그들 가운데 와서 여호와 앞에 서니

On another day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them to present himself before him. Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD. |

여호와께서 사단에게 이르시되 네가 어디서 왔느냐 사단이 여호와께 對答(대답)하여 가로되 땅에 두루 돌아 여기 저기 다녀 왔나이다
And the LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from?" Satan answered the LORD, "From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it." And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. |

여호와께서 사단에게 이르시되 네가 내 종 욥을 留意(유의)하여 보았느냐 그와 같이 純全(순전)하고 正直(정직)하여 하나님을 敬畏(경외)하며 惡(악)에서 떠난 者(자)가 世上(세상)에 없느니라 네가 나를 激動(격동)하여 ㅏ까닭없이 그를 치게 하였어도
그가 오히려 ㅑ自己(자기)의 純全(순전)을 굳게 지켰느니라
Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason." And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause. |

사단이 여호와께 對答(대답)하여 가로되 가죽으로 가죽을 바꾸오니 사람이 그 모든 所有物(소유물)로 自己(자기)의 生命(생명)을 바꾸올찌라
Skin for skin! Satan replied. "A man will give all he has for his own life. And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. |

이제 主(주)의 ㅓ손을 펴서 그의 뼈와 살을 치소서 그리하시면 丁寧(정녕) 對面(대면)하여 ㅕ主(주)를 辱(욕)하리이다
But stretch out your hand and strike his flesh and bones, and he will surely curse you to your face." But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face. |

여호와께서 사단에게 이르시되 내가 그를 네 손에 붙이노라 오직 그의 生命(생명)은 害(해)하지 말찌니라
The LORD said to Satan, "Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life." And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life. |

● 사단이 이에 여호와 앞에서 물러가서 욥을 쳐서 ㅗ그 발바닥에서 정수리까지 ㅛ惡瘡(악창)이 나게 한지라
So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD and afflicted Job with painful sores from the soles of his feet to the top of his head. So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown. |

욥이 ㅜ재 가운데 앉아서 ㅠ기와 조각을 가져다가 몸을 긁고 있더니
Then Job took a piece of broken pottery and scraped himself with it as he sat among the ashes. And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes. |

그 아내가 그에게 이르되 當身(당신)이 그래도 으自己(자기)의 純全(순전)을 굳게 지키느뇨 하나님을 辱(욕)하고 죽으라

His wife said to him, "Are you still holding on to your integrity? Curse God and die!" Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. |

그가 이르되 그대의 말이 이어리석은 女子(여자) 中(중) 하나의 말 같도다 ㅐ우리가 하나님께 福(복)을 받았은즉 災殃(재앙)도 받지 아니하겠느뇨 하고
ㄱ이 모든 일에 욥이 ㄴ입술로 犯罪(범죄)치 아니하니라
He replied, "You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?" In all this, Job did not sin in what he said. But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. |

● 때에 ㄷ욥의 親舊(친구) 세 사람이 그에게 이 모든 災殃(재앙)이 臨(임)하였다 함을 듣고 各各(각각) 自己(자기) 處所(처소)에서부터 이르렀으니 곧 ㄹ데만 사람
엘리바스와 ㅁ수아 사람 빌닷과 나아마 사람 소발이라 그들이 욥을 ㅂ조문하고 慰勞(위로)하려 하여 相約(상약)하고 오더니
When Job's three friends, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite, heard about all the troubles that had come upon him, they set out from their homes and met together by agreement to go and sympathize with him and comfort him. Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him. |

눈을 들어 멀리 보매 그 욥인줄 알기 어렵게 되었으므로 그들이 一齊(일제)히 소리질러 울며 各各(각각) ㅅ自己(자기)의 겉옷을 찢고 하늘을 向(향)하여 ㅇ티끌을 날려 自己(자기) 머리에 뿌리고
When they saw him from a distance, they could hardly recognize him; they began to weep aloud, and they tore their robes and sprinkled dust on their heads. And when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one his mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven. |

ㅈ七日(칠일) 七夜(칠야)를 그와 함께 땅에 앉았으나 욥의 困苦(곤고)함이 甚(심)함을 보는 故(고)로 그에게 한 말도 하는 者(자)가 없었더라
Then they sat on the ground with him for seven days and seven nights. No one said a word to him, because they saw how great his suffering was. So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great. |
