My spirit is broken, my days are cut short, the grave awaits me. My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves are ready for me. |

나를 嘲弄(조롱)하는 者(자)들이 오히려 나와 함께 있으므로 내 눈이 ㅓ그들의 激動(격동)함을 恒常(항상) 보는구나
Surely mockers surround me; my eyes must dwell on their hostility. Are there not mockers with me? and doth not mine eye continue in their provocation? |

● 請(청)컨대 保證物(보증물)을 주시고 ㅕ親(친)히 나의 保主(보주)가 되옵소서 主(주) 外(외)에 ㅗ나로 더불어 손을 칠 者(자)가 누구리이까
Give me, O God, the pledge you demand. Who else will put up security for me? Lay down now, put me in a surety with thee; who is he that will strike hands with me? |

主(주)께서 그들의 마음을 가리워 깨닫지 못하게 하셨사오니 그들을 높이지 아니하시리이다
You have closed their minds to understanding; therefore you will not let them triumph. For thou hast hid their heart from understanding: therefore shalt thou not exalt them. |

親舊(친구)를 指摘(지적)하여 害(해)를 받게 한 者(자)의 子息(자식)들은 ㅛ눈이 멀찌니라
If a man denounces his friends for reward, the eyes of his children will fail. He that speaketh flattery to his friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail. |

● 하나님이 나로 ㅜ百姓(백성)의 이야기거리가 되게 하시니 그들이 내 ㅠ얼굴에 침을 뱉는구나
God has made me a byword to everyone, a man in whose face people spit. He hath made me also a byword of the people; and aforetime I was as a tabret. |

으내 눈은 근심으로 하여 어두워지고 나의 온 肢體(지체)는 이그림자 같구나
My eyes have grown dim with grief; my whole frame is but a shadow. Mine eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow. |

正直者(정직자)는 ㅐ이를 因(인)하여 놀라고 無罪者(무죄자)는 邪曲(사곡)한 者(자)를 因(인)하여 忿(분)을 내나니

Upright men are appalled at this; the innocent are aroused against the ungodly. Upright men shall be astonied at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite. |

그러므로 義人(의인)은 그 길을 篤實(독실)히 行(행)하고 ㄱ손이 깨끗한 者(자)는 漸漸(점점) 힘을 얻느니라

Nevertheless, the righteous will hold to their ways, and those with clean hands will grow stronger. The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger. |

ㄷ나의 날이 지나갔고 내 經營(경영), 내 마음의 思慕(사모)하는 바가 다 끊어졌구나
My days have passed, my plans are shattered, and so are the desires of my heart. My days are past, my purposes are broken off, even the thoughts of my heart. |

그들은 ㄹ밤으로 낮을 삼고 빛이 어두운데 가깝다 하는구나

These men turn night into day; in the face of darkness they say, 'Light is near.' They change the night into day: the light is short because of darkness. |

내 所望(소망)이 ㅁ陰府(음부)로 ㅂ내 집을 삼음에 있어서 寢床(침상)을 黑暗(흑암)에 베풀고
If the only home I hope for is the grave, if I spread out my bed in darkness, If I wait, the grave is mine house: I have made my bed in the darkness. |

무덤더러 너는 내 아비라 구더기더러 너는 내 어미, 내 姉妹(자매)라 할찐대
if I say to corruption, 'You are my father,' and to the worm, 'My mother' or 'My sister,' I have said to corruption, Thou art my father: to the worm, Thou art my mother, and my sister. |

나의 所望(소망)이 어디 있으며, 나의 所望(소망)을 누가 보겠느냐
where then is my hope? Who can see any hope for me? And where is now my hope? as for my hope, who shall see it? |
16 |
ㅅ흙 속에서 ㅇ쉴 때에는 所望(소망)이 陰府(음부) 1)門(문)으로 내려갈 뿐이니라
Will it go down to the gates of death? Will we descend together into the dust?" They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when our rest together is in the dust. |
