여호와의 말씀이 내게 臨(임)하여 가라사대
The word of the LORD came to me: Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, |

ㅗ人子(인자)야 너는 ㅛ네 民族(민족)에게 告(고)하여 이르라 假令(가령) ㅜ내가 칼을 한 땅에 臨(임)하게 한다 하자 그 땅
百姓(백성)이 自己(자기) 中(중)에 하나를 擇(택)하여 ㅠ把守軍(파수군)을 삼은
Son of man, speak to your countrymen and say to them: 'When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman, Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: |

그 사람이 칼이 그 땅에 臨(임)함을 보고 으나팔을 불어 百姓(백성)에게 警告(경고)하되

and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people, If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; |

나팔
소리를 듣고도 警備(경비)를 하지 아니하므로 그 臨(임)하는 칼에 除(제)함을
當(당)하면 이그 피가 自己(자기)의 머리로 돌아갈 것이라
then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not take warning and the sword comes and takes his life, his blood will be on his own head. Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. |

그가 警備(경비)를 하였던들 自己(자기) 生命(생명)을 保全(보전)하였을 것이나 ㅐ나팔 소리를
듣고도 警備(경비)를 하지 아니하였으니 그 피가 自己(자기)에게로 돌아가리라

Since he heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning, his blood will be on his own head. If he had taken warning, he would have saved himself. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. |

ㄱ그러나 把守軍(파수군)이 칼이 臨(임)함을 보고도 나팔을 불지 아니하여 百姓(백성)에게 警告(경고)치 아니하므로 그 中(중)에 한 사람이 그 臨(임)하는 칼에
除(제)함을
當(당)하면 그는 自己(자기) 罪惡(죄악) 中(중)에서 除(제)한바 되려니와 그 罪(죄)를 내가 把守軍(파수군)의 손에서 찾으리라

But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes the life of one of them, that man will be taken away because of his sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood.' But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. |

● 人子(인자)야 ㄴ내가 너로 이스라엘 族屬(족속)의 把守軍(파수군)을 삼음이 이와 같으니라 그런즉 너는 내 입의 말을 듣고 나를 代身(대신)하여 그들에게 警告(경고)할찌어다

Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. |

ㄷ假令(가령) 내가 惡人(악인)에게 이르기를 惡人(악인)아 너는 丁寧(정녕) 죽으리라 하였다하자 네가 그 惡人(악인)에게 말로 警告(경고)하여 그 길에서 떠나게 아니하면 그
惡人(악인)은 自己(자기) 罪惡(죄악) 中(중)에서 죽으려니와 내가 그 피를 네 손에서 찾으리라

When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you will surely die,' and you do not speak out to dissuade him from his ways, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. |

ㄹ그러나 너는 惡人(악인)에게 警告(경고)하여 돌이켜 그 길에서 떠나라고 하되 그가 돌이켜 그 길에서 떠나지 아니하면 그는 自己(자기) 罪惡(죄악) 中(중)에서 죽으려니와
ㅁ너는 네 生命(생명)을 保全(보전)하리라
But if you do warn the wicked man to turn from his ways and he does not do so, he will die for his sin, but you will have saved yourself. Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. |

● 그런즉 ㅂ人子(인자)야 너는 이스라엘 族屬(족속)에게 이르기를 너희가 말하여 이르되 우리의 허물과 罪(죄)가 이미 우리에게 있어 ㅅ우리로 그 中(중)에서
衰敗(쇠패)하게 하니 ㅇ어찌 能(능)히 살리요 하거니와
Son of man, say to the house of Israel, 'This is what you are saying: Our offenses ane sins weigh us down, and we are wasting away because of them. How then can we live?"' Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live? |

主(주) 여호와의 말씀에 ㅈ나의 삶을 두고 盟誓(맹세)하노니 ㅊ나는 惡人(악인)의 죽는 것을 기뻐하지 아니하고 惡人(악인)이 그 길에서 돌이켜 떠나서 사는 것을
기뻐하노라 이스라엘 族屬(족속)아 ㅋ돌이키고 돌이키라 너희 惡(악)한 길에서 떠나라 어찌 죽고자 하느냐 하셨다 하라
Say to them, 'As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rathar that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, O house of Israel?' Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? |

人子(인자)야 너는 ㅌ네 民族(민족)에게 이르기를 ㅍ義人(의인)이 犯罪(범죄)하는 날에는 그 義(의)가 救援(구원)치 못할 것이요 ㅎ惡人(악인)이
돌이켜 그 惡(악)에서 떠나는 날에는 그 惡(악)이 그를 엎드러뜨리지 못할 것인즉 義人(의인)이 犯罪(범죄)하는 날에는 그 義(의)로 因(인)하여는 살지 못하리라
Therefore, son of man, say to your countrymen, 'The righteousness of the righteous man will not save him when he disobeys, and the wickedness of the wicked man will not cause him to fall when he turns from it. The righteous man, if he sins, will not be allowed to live because of his former righteousness.' Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth. |

假令(가령) 내가 義人(의인)에게 말하기를 너는 살리라 하였다 하자 그가 그 義(의)를 스스로 믿고 罪惡(죄악)을 行(행)하면 그 모든 義(의)로운 行爲(행위)가 하나도 記憶(기억)되지 아니하리니 그가 그
지은 罪惡(죄악) 中(중) 곧 그 中(중)에서 죽으리라
If I tell the righteous man that he will surely live, but then he trusts in his righteousness and does evil, none of the righteous things he has done will be remembered; he will die for the evil he has done. When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it. |
14 |
假令(가령) ㅏ내가 惡人(악인)에게 말하기를 ㅑ너는 죽으리라 하였다 하자 ㅓ그가 돌이켜 自己(자기)의 罪(죄)에서 떠나서 法(법)과 義(의)대로
行(행)하여
And if I say to the wicked man, 'You will surely die,' but he then turns away from his sin and does what is just and right-- Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; |
15 |
ㅕ典當物(전당물)을 도로 주며 ㅗ抑奪物(억탈물)을 돌려 보내고 ㅛ生命(생명)의 律例(율례)를 遵行(준행)하여 다시는 罪惡(죄악)을 짓지 아니하면 그가 丁寧(정녕) 살고 죽지 않을찌라
if he gives back what he took in pledge for a loan, returns what he has stolen, follows the decrees that give life, and does no evil, he will surely live; he will not die. If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. |

ㅜ그의 本來(본래) 犯(범)한 모든 罪(죄)가 記憶(기억)되지 아니하리니 그가 丁寧(정녕) 살리라 이는 法(법)과 義(의)를 行(행)하였음이니라 하라

겔18:22
None of the sins he has committed will be remembered against him. He has done what is just and right; he will surely live. None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live. |

● 그래도 네 民族(민족)은 말하기를 ㅠ主(주)의 길이 公平(공평)치 않다 하는도다 그러나 實狀(실상)은 그들의 길이 公平(공평)치 아니하니라
Yet your countrymen say, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' But it is their way that is not just. Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal. |
18 |
으萬一(만일) 義人(의인)이 돌이켜 그 義(의)에서 떠나 罪惡(죄악)을 지으면 그가 그 가운데서 죽을 것이고
If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, he will die for it. When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby. |
19 |
이萬一(만일) 惡人(악인)이 돌이켜 그 惡(악)에서 떠나 法(법)과 義(의)대로 行(행)하면 그가 그로 因(인)하여 살리라
And if a wicked man turns away from his wickedness and does what is just and right, he will live by doing so. But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby. |
20 |
그러나 너희가 이르기를 主(주)의 길이 公平(공평)치 않다 하는도다 이스라엘 族屬(족속)아 ㅐ내가 너희의 各其(각기) 行(행)한대로 審判(심판)하리라 하시니라

겔18:30
Yet, O house of Israel, you say, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' But I will judge each of you according to his own ways." Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways. |
21 |
● ㄱ우리가 사로잡힌지 ㄴ十(십) 二年(이년) 十月(시월) 五日(오일)에 ㄷ예루살렘에서부터 逃亡(도망)하여 온 者(자)가 내게 나아와 말하기를
ㄹ그 城(성)이 陷落(함락)되었다 하였는데
In the twelfth year of our exile, in the tenth month on the fifth day, a man who had escaped from Jerusalem came to me and said, "The city has fallen!" And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten. |

그 ㅁ逃亡(도망)한 者(자)가 내게 나아오기 前(전)날 저녁에 ㅂ여호와의 손이 내게 臨(임)하여 내 입을 여시더니 다음 아침 그 사람이 내게 나아올 臨時(임시)에 내
입이 열리기로 내가 다시는 潛潛(잠잠)하지 아니하였노라
Now the evening before the man arrived, the hand of the LORD was upon me, and he opened my mouth before the man came to me in the morning. So my mouth was opened and I was no longer silent. Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb. |

● 여호와의 말씀이 내게 臨(임)하여 가라사대
Then the word of the LORD came to me: Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, |
24 |
ㅅ人子(인자)야 ㅇ이 이스라엘 荒蕪(황무)한 땅에 居(거)한 者(자)들이 말하여 이르기를 ㅈ아브라함은 오직 한 사람이라도 이 땅을 基業(기업)으로
얻었나니 ㅊ우리가 衆多(중다)한즉 더욱 이 땅으로 우리에게 基業(기업)으로 주신
것이 되느니라 하는도다
Son of man, the people living in those ruins in the land of Israel are saying, 'Abraham was only one man, yet he possessed the land. But we are many; surely the land has been given to us as our possession.' Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance. |
25 |
그러므로 너는 그들에게 이르기를 主(주) 여호와의 말씀에 ㅋ너희가 피있는 고기를 먹으며 너희 偶像(우상)들에게 ㅌ눈을 들며 ㅍ피를 흘리니 그 땅이
너희의 基業(기업)이 될까보냐
Therefore say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Since you eat meat with the blood still in it and look to your idols and shed blood, should you then possess the land? Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land? |
26 |
ㅎ너희가 칼을 믿어 ㅏ可憎(가증)한 일을 行(행)하며 各其(각기) 이웃의 아내를 더럽히니 그 땅이 너희의 基業(기업)이 될까보냐
하고
You rely on your sword, you do detestable things, and each of you defiles his neighbor's wife. Should you then possess the land?' Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbour's wife: and shall ye possess the land? |
27 |
너는 그들에게 또 이르기를 主(주) 여호와의 말씀에 ㅑ내가 나의 삶을 두고 盟誓(맹세)하노니 荒蕪地(황무지)에 있는 者(자)는 ㅓ칼에 엎드러뜨리고 들에 있는
者(자)는 들짐승에게 붙여 먹게 하고 ㅕ山城(산성)과 窟(굴)에 있는 者(자)는 瘟疫(온역)에 죽게 하리라
Say this to them: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: As surely as I live, those who are left in the ruins will fall by the sword, those out in the country I will give to the wild animals to be devoured, and those in strongholds and caves will die of a plague. Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence. |

ㅗ내가 그 땅으로 荒蕪地(황무지)와 놀라움이 되게 하고 ㅛ그 權能(권능)의 驕慢(교만)을 그치게 하리니 ㅜ이스라엘의 山(산)들이 荒蕪(황무)하여
지나갈 사람이 없으리라
I will make the land a desolate waste, and her proud strength will come to an end, and the mountains of Israel will become desolate so that no one will cross them. For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through. |
29 |
내가 그들의 行(행)한 모든 可憎(가증)한 일로 因(인)하여 그 땅으로 荒蕪地(황무지)와 놀라움이 되게 하면 그 때에 ㅠ그들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알리라 하라

Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I have made the land a desolate waste because of all the detestable things they have done.' Then shall they know that I am the LORD, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed. |
30 |
● 人子(인자)야 으네 民族(민족)이 담 곁에서와 집 門(문)에서 너를 議論(의논)하며 各各(각각) 그 兄弟(형제)로 더불어 말하여 이르기를 자, 가서 여호와께로부터 무슨 말씀이 나오는가
들어보자 하고

As for you, son of man, your countrymen are talking together about you by the walls and at the doors of the houses, saying to each other, 'Come and hear the message that has come from the LORD.' Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD. |

百姓(백성)이 모이는 것 같이 이네게 나아오며 내 百姓(백성)처럼 네 앞에 앉아서 네 말을 들으나 그대로 行(행)치 아니하니 이는 ㅐ그 입으로는 사랑을 나타내어도
ㄱ마음은 利慾(이욕)을 좇음이라
My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to listen to your words, but they do not put them into practice. With their mouths they express devotion, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain. And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. |

그들이 너를 ㄴ音樂(음악)을 잘하며 고운 音聲(음성)으로 사랑의 노래를 하는 者(자) 같이 여겼나니 ㄷ네 말을 듣고도 遵行(준행)치 아니하거니와
Indeed, to them you are nothing more than one who sings love songs with a beautiful voice and plays an instrument well, for they hear your words but do not put them into practice. And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not. |
33 |
ㄹ그 말이 應(응)하리니 應(응)할 때에는 ㅁ그들이 한 先知者(선지자)가 自己(자기) 가운데 있었던 줄을 알리라
When all this comes true--and it surely will--then they will know that a prophet has been among them. And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them. |
