ㄷ다메섹에 關(관)한 ㄹ警告(경고)라 ● 보라 다메섹이 將次(장차) 城邑(성읍) 貌樣(모양)을 이루지 못하고 무너진 무더기가 될 것이라 An oracle concerning Damascus: "See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins. The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap. |

ㅁ아로엘의 城邑(성읍)들이 버림을 當(당)하리니 羊(양) 무리를 치는 곳이 되어 羊(양)이 눕되 ㅂ놀라게 할 者(자)가 없을 것이며
The cities of Aroer will be deserted and left to flocks, which will lie down, with no one to make them afraid. The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid. |

ㅅ에브라임의 要塞(요새)와 다메섹 나라와 아람의 남은 百姓(백성)이 滅絶(멸절)하여 ㅇ이스라엘 子孫(자손)의 榮光(영광) 같이 되리라 萬軍(만군)의 여호와의 말씀이니라
The fortified city will disappear from Ephraim, and royal power from Damascus; the remnant of Aram will be like the glory of the Israelites," declares the LORD Almighty. The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts. |

ㅊ마치 秋收(추수)하는 者(자)가 穀食(곡식)을 거두어 가지고 그 손으로 이삭을 벤것 같고 ㅋ르바임 골짜기에서 이삭을 주운 것 같으리라
It will be as when a reaper gathers the standing grain and harvests the grain with his arm--as when a man gleans heads of grain in the Valley of Rephaim. And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim. |

그러나 오히려 ㅌ주울 것이 남으리니 橄欖(감람)나무를 흔들 때에 가장 높은 가지 꼭대기에 實果(실과) 二(이),三個(삼개)가 남음 같겠고 茂盛(무성)한 나무의 가장 먼 가지에 四(사) 五個(오개)가 남음 같으리라 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와의 말씀이니라

Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God of Israel. |

In that day men will look to their Maker and turn their eyes to the Holy One of Israel. At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel. |

ㅎ自己(자기) 손으로 만든 壇(단)을 쳐다보지 아니하며 自己(자기) 손가락으로 지은 ㅏ아세라나 太陽像(태양상)을 바라보지 아니할 것이며
They will not look to the altars, the work of their hands, and they will have no regard for the Asherah poles and the incense altars their fingers have made. And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images. |

ㅑ그 날에 그 堅固(견고)한 城邑(성읍)들이 옛적에 이스라엘 子孫(자손) 앞에서 버린바 된 수풀 속의 處所(처소)와 작은 山(산)꼭대기의 處所(처소) 같아서 荒廢(황폐)하리니

In that day their strong cities, which they left because of the Israelites, will be like places abandoned to thickets and undergrowth. And all will be desolation. In that day shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children of Israel: and there shall be desolation. |

이는 ㅓ네가 自己(자기)의 救援(구원)의 하나님을 잊어버리며 自己(자기)의 ㅕ能力(능력)의 磐石(반석)을 마음에 두지 않은 까닭이라 그러므로 네가 기뻐하는 植物(식물)을 심으며 異邦(이방)의 가지도 移種(이종)하고
You have forgotten God your Savior; you have not remembered the Rock, your fortress. Therefore, though you set out the finest plants and plant imported vines, Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips: |

네가 심는 날에 울타리로 두르고 아침에 너의 씨로 잘 發育(발육)하도록 하였으나 근심과 甚(심)한 슬픔의 날에 農作物(농작물)이 없어지리라
though on the day you set them out, you make them grow, and on the morning when you plant them, you bring them to bud, yet the harvest will be as nothing in the day of disease and incurable pain. In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow. |

● 슬프다 ㅗ많은 民族(민족)이 騷動(소동)하였으되 바다 波濤(파도)의 뛰노는 소리 같이 그들이 騷動(소동)하였고 列邦(열방)이 衝突(충돌)하였으되 큰 물의 몰려옴 같이 그들도 衝突(충돌)하였도다

Oh, the raging of many nations--they rage like the raging sea! Oh, the uproar of the peoples--they roar like the roaring of great waters! Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters! |

ㅛ列邦(열방)이 衝突(충돌)하기를 많은 물의 몰려옴과 같이 하나 ㅜ主(주)께서 그들을 꾸짖으시리니 그들이 멀리
逃亡(도망)함이 ㅠ山(산)에 겨가 바람 앞에 흩어짐같겠고 으暴風(폭풍) 앞에 떠도는 티끌 같을 것이라
Although the peoples roar like the roar of surging waters, when he rebukes them they flee far away, driven before the wind like chaff on the hills, like tumbleweed before a gale. The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind. |

In the evening, sudden terror! Before the morning, they are gone! This is the portion of those who loot us, the lot of those who plunder us. And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us. |
