욥이 ㄱ또 譬詞(비사)를 들어 가로되
Job continued his discourse: Moreover Job continued his parable, and said, |

내가 以前(이전) 달과 하나님이 나를 保護(보호)하시던 날에 지내던 것 같이 되었으면
How I long for the months gone by, for the days when God watched over me, Oh that I were as in months past, as in the days when God preserved me; |

그 때는 그의 ㄴ燈(등)불이 내 머리에 비취었고 내가 그 光明(광명)을 힘입어
黑暗(흑암)에 行(행)하였었느니라
when his lamp shone upon my head and by his light I walked through darkness! When his candle shined upon my head, and when by his light I walked through darkness; |

나의 强壯(강장)하던 날과 같이 지내었으면 - 그 때는 ㄷ하나님의 友情(우정)이 내 帳幕(장막) 위에 있었으며
Oh, for the days when I was in my prime, when God's intimate friendship blessed my house, As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle; |

그 때는 全能者(전능자)가 오히려 나와 함께 계셨으며 나의 ㄹ子女(자녀)들이 나를 둘러 있었으며
when the Almighty was still with me and my children were around me, When the Almighty was yet with me, when my children were about me; |

ㅁ뻐터가 내 발자취를 ㅂ씻기며 ㅅ磐石(반석)이 나를 爲(위)하여 ㅇ기름시내를 흘러 내었으며
when my path was drenched with cream and the rock poured out for me streams of olive oil. When I washed my steps with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers of oil; |

그 때는 내가 나가서 ㅈ城門(성문)에 이르기도 하며 내 자리를 거리에 베풀기도 하였었느니라

When I went to the gate of the city and took my seat in the public square, When I went out to the gate through the city, when I prepared my seat in the street! |

나를 보고 少年(소년)들은 숨으며 老人(노인)들은 일어나서 서며
the young men saw me and stepped aside and the old men rose to their feet; The young men saw me, and hid themselves: and the aged arose, and stood up. |

方伯(방백)들은 말을 참고 ㅊ손으로 입을 가리우며

the chief men refrained from speaking and covered their mouths with their hands; The princes refrained talking, and laid their hand on their mouth. |

貴人(귀인)들은 소리를 禁(금)하니 ㅋ그 혀가 입 천장에 붙었었느니라
the voices of the nobles were hushed, and their tongues stuck to the roof of their mouths. The nobles held their peace, and their tongue cleaved to the roof of their mouth. |

귀가 들은즉 나를 爲(위)하여 祝福(축복)하고 눈이 본즉 나를 爲(위)하여 證據(증거)하였었나니
Whoever heard me spoke well of me, and those who saw me commended me, When the ear heard me, then it blessed me; and when the eye saw me, it gave witness to me: |

이는 내가 ㅌ부르짖는 貧民(빈민)과 도와줄 者(자) 없는 孤兒(고아)를 건졌음이라

because I rescued the poor who cried for help, and the fatherless who had none to assist him. Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him. |

ㅍ亡(망)하게 된 者(자)도 나를 爲(위)하여 ㅎ福(복)을 빌었으며 ㅏ寡婦(과부)의 마음이 나로 因(인)하여 기뻐 노래하였었느니라
The man who was dying blessed me; I made the widow's heart sing. The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy. |

내가 義(의)로 ㅑ옷을 삼아 입었으며 나의 公義(공의)는 道袍(도포)와 ㅓ冕旒冠(면류관) 같았었느니라
I put on righteousness as my clothing; justice was my robe and my turban. I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: my judgment was as a robe and a diadem. |

나는 ㅕ소경의 눈도 되고 절뚝발이의 발도 되고

貧窮(빈궁)한 者(자)의 아비도 되며 ㅗ生疎(생소)한
者(자)의 일을 査實(사실)하여 주었으며

I was a father to the needy; I took up the case of the stranger. I was a father to the poor: and the cause which I knew not I searched out. |

ㅛ不義(불의)한 者(자)의 어금니를 ㅜ꺽고 그 잇사이에서 劫奪(겁탈)한 物件(물건)을 빼어 내었었느니라
I broke the fangs of the wicked and snatched the victims from their teeth. And I brake the jaws of the wicked, and plucked the spoil out of his teeth. |

ㅠ내가 스스로 말하기를 나는 내 으보금자리에서 善終(선종)하리라 나의 날은 이모래 같이 많을 것이라
I thought, 'I will die in my own house, my days as numerous as the grains of sand. Then I said, I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply my days as the sand. |

내 ㅐ뿌리는 ㄱ물로 뻗어나가고 내 ㄴ가지는 밤이 맞도록 이슬에 젖으며
My roots will reach to the water, and the dew will lie all night on my branches. My root was spread out by the waters, and the dew lay all night upon my branch. |
20 |
내 榮光(영광)은 내게 새로와지고 내 ㄷ활은 내 손에서 날로 ㄹ强(강)하여지느니라 하였었노라
My glory will remain fresh in me, the bow ever new in my hand.' My glory was fresh in me, and my bow was renewed in my hand. |
21 |
무리는 내 말을 들으며 나의 가르치기를 潛潛(잠잠)히 기다리다가
Men listened to me expectantly, waiting in silence for my counsel. Unto me men gave ear, and waited, and kept silence at my counsel. |
22 |
내가 말한 後(후)에 그들이 말을 내지 못하였었나니 나의 말이 그들에게 ㅁ이슬 같이 됨이니라
After I had spoken, they spoke no more; my words fell gently on their ears. After my words they spake not again; and my speech dropped upon them. |
23 |
그들이 나 바라기를 비 같이 하였으며 ㅂ입을 벌리기를 ㅅ늦은 비 기다리듯 하였으므로
They waited for me as for showers and drank in my words as the spring rain. And they waited for me as for the rain; and they opened their mouth wide as for the latter rain. |
24 |
그들이 依支(의지) 없을 때에 내가 含笑(함소)하여 同情(동정)하면 그들이 나의 ㅇ얼굴 ㅈ빛을 無色(무색)하게 아니하였었느니라
When I smiled at them, they scarcely believed it; the light of my face was precious to them. If I laughed on them, they believed it not; and the light of my countenance they cast not down. |

내가 그들의 길을 擇(택)하고 으뜸으로 앉았었나니 ㅊ王(왕)이 軍中(군중)에 居(거)함도 같았고 哀哭(애곡)하는 者(자)를 慰勞(위로)하는 사람도 같았었느니라

I chose the way for them and sat as their chief; I dwelt as a king among his troops; I was like one who comforts mourners. I chose out their way, and sat chief, and dwelt as a king in the army, as one that comforteth the mourners. |
